They forgot which country they're living in!

Dr. Who was always corny, silly and generally pretty bad; made for juveniles of all ages. Stupid dialogues and plots should not be a problem for Whovians.
The problem with this season is simple. People complaining about this being too PC are using needlessly using coded language.
Here it is - Too many non-white people. Dr. Who is a straight white man and main characters have been mainly white. A white woman as Dr. Who could've been accepted, but including black and brown main characters is unacceptable. England is, and has been, an ethnically defined country and is racially segregated completely. Things might be a little different in some areas of London, but this is generally true.
Black and brown people can be external to the plot, can be objects of pity and or some use to the central characters. But they cannot be shown as integral to the series.

Tina Fey is Tina Fey in this movie. I loved the fact that she didn't pretend to be anything else. Westerners behaved like westerners in this movie.
Many war films try to sell you the emotional experience of a war. This is an American woman's story in Afganistan. Her world is other people like her and one slim contact with the world that she was in. Yes the movie is self-centered. Let's not bullshit ourselves into thinking we can be a whole lot more than that.

Amazing Amazing acting!! (only the dumb blonde doesn't look as dumb as she should but beautiful to just the degree this role requires).Story is far from complex but beautiful. In league with films such as 'Keith', 'Juno', 'Nick and Norah's infinite playlist', 'Malena', 'Nuovo Cinema Paradiso'; in it's shot at picturising young but not all innocent, innocent in their way but far from stupid. (coming-of-age as some would call it but not a correct word in this case). Most of western artforms are so busy portraying fully matured viewpoint that they seldom enter this domain without being melodramatic. Movie has a indescribable feel to teen, a fact that I've uncovered first-hand. Has to be watched. Maybe you are one of the kind this movie comes forward to.

C'mon it's a Woody Allen

Voice narrations were something......very very unique.I cannot say that they were outright bad or completely unnecessary to the film.It was merely a choice director made.
It's a sad film.Yes it is.But it is a Woody Allen film and he does manage to make it a funny one,in his usual subtle manner.It a humor of good quality.(I don't know if Woody Allen meant to put comedy in this one.If he didn't mean it....well)At the end of the film,I just smiled.I was amazed at the stupendous pettiness and meaninglessness of the whole thing.Of the film,of love in 'Juan Antonio' life.It hit's in the scene in the art studio when Antonio's ex-wife breaks down after shooting around her gun,and there comes a really really laughable situation when they are just talking gibberish(film's made for English speaking audience).It's a Humor very difficult to define or to explain,but all and all I'll call this film a comedy.Not a funny film but definitely a Comedy. 7/10
