The Haunted Airman (2006 TV Movie)
1/10
Not worth a 99 cent rental price
6 February 2010
Warning: Spoilers
If there was a lower rating than a 1 star, this movie would earn it. This movie has Robert Pattinson in it, you get to see his pretty face. That's about the only thing this movie has going for it. The plot NEVER comes to a climax, when the movie ends you find your self wondering.."OK....what exactly was the plot?". Truly pathetic and please do not waste your 99 cents for the rental price. Just Awful! In fact I'm having a hard time finding the words to write a minimum of 10 lines to describe it. At no point in this movie do you truly know who were the bad guys. So many appeared to possibly be involved yet in the end you still have no clue. Never once do you get any idea of why he constantly saw spiders. Who killed the other patient? It never comes to a close. It's almost as if they tried to make a twisting plot movie and then abruptly after drawing out the openers for too long came to a halt.

Taken (I) (2008)
3/10
Incorrect Rating
18 May 2009
While it is a good action movie if you can edit it to some degree the rating is completely wrong. In no way is this a PG-13 movie. This movie should not be seen by anyone under the age of 18 at the very least. Prostitution is the main theme of the movie, contains nudity, violence and a lot of foul language. This should be rated R at the very least!! Besides that there is no need for the nudity as the prostitution is implied and therefore does not require a visual. In addition to that there is no need for the language. It doesn't make a movie. It is a factor which can determine if I even watch the movie. Liam Neeson is an excellent actor I really enjoy his movies. That is the only reason that I even watched this movie. Overall take out the language and the nudity and it would be pretty good movie.

Hollywood did its usual twist on what was a good novel
23 February 2009
The novel that this was based on was meant to be a learning lesson. It was intended to show how shallow and unfulfilled lives are when self is all we care about. Instead Hollywood did what Hollywood does best, attempted to make heroes out of selfish arrogant characters who care only for themselves. This movie was just plain awful. The only attracting feature this movie has is an on screen reunion of Kate & Leonardo. Which in could have been a good thing, but given the nature of this film they should have left off saying goodbye while floating on a door in the icy ocean after the Titanic sunk. Michael Shannon is a good actor who needs to find himself some good roles to really put his name on screen. He shouldn't be too upset about losing his academy award to Heath Ledge since this film was so bad to begin with.
