Snatched (1973)
Well, I liked it anyway
TV movies don't often stretch the imagination too far but, as TV entertainment goes, I remember this one as being fairly thought-provoking. I'll watch anything with Leslie Nielsen in it, of course, but the whole cast in this one were worth tuning in for, weren't they?
Recognisable faces, what more could you ask for in a TV movie?? I'd like to see it again, and who knows? Some satellite channel might show it one fine day. I liked it anyway.
Kung Fu (1972)
The Danny Caine episodes
I watched the Kung Fu series, doing the cod funny noises and outrageous accent at school, but took more notice in the four-episode storyline featuring Leslie Nielsen as the evil Vincent Corbino. It was on so long ago that I had to make an AUDIO recording of it to be able to listen to it over & over! I can't believe how many times Leslie Nielsen scared me to death with his baddiness before he hit us with Airplane! et al. Ah, to be young again.

See How They Run (1964)
Drowning is so wet
OK, knowing the end of this movie and having seen Night of the Hunter, it has to be said there are similarities. Kids alone against the world? Despite that it's quite watchable. I once had the unnerving experience of seeing Leslie Nielsen drown in The Poseidon Adventure in a Torquay cinema, then went home and watched a late night showing of See How They Run on TV - only to see Leslie Nielsen drowning again. Gross. Anyway, despite losing yer man Nielsen to the deep before the second set of adverts, I still enjoyed the film. Lee
