Bob's Burgers (2011)
Very much enjoyable
I really enjoyed the first season of Bob's Burgers. Not often for a cartoon you can say that there is chemistry between characters. In Bob's Burgers - there is. The calm and usually serious, but funny dad, mother who's full of weird ideas, and children, each so different. The youngest daughter is definitely my favorite with her unpredictable attitude towards many usual things.
The script is very well written, and after multiple viewings I have noticed new jokes that I haven't paid attention to at first. I really hope this cartoon will stay on the air and keeps up the good work. I rate it 10/10 for the first season.
Tower Heist (2011)
Terrible script, acting, wrong music... One star at most
I had high expectations for this movie because of the cast. Boy, was I wrong.
The idea of the movie wasn't bad in general, but the script was terrible. This movie is neither a heist movie, nor a comedy, nor anything else. It's a set of expected dialogues for such an idea, nothing surprises or entertains you. The acting feels like they just wanted the filming to end, get it over with. Music was good, but out of context. Building up emotions when there's clearly nothing going on... partly because of poor actors' play.
I give this movie a 1/10. I hardly sat through the whole thing just to make sure I don't miss something interesting, at least one good joke. I wish I didn't, since it didn't come.
Zeitgeist (2007)
Ridiculous...
I was appalled by the movie, specially by the treatment of Christianity. When will, or rather, will people ever understand that Christianity is not about the money, but the wicked people are just trying to use it this way sometimes? It's about love, and how love is a conspiracy? It is clear that the writer/director or whoever made this movie understands nothing of the personal relationship with God and lives in the world of sins and sensations, that follow those sins. Let's picture this - if there were no God's commandments would it make world a better place? If there wouldn't be a "You shall not kill" - everyone would be killing each other, and there wouldn't ever be a reason to stop it. So what problem are the creator's of the movie having with commandments or faith in God? They do not believe in God, but hey - they for some reason believe astrological nonsense and all the other so-called "sciences" that people are trying to developed based on their limited mind. The bottom line is that the movie is full of ideas, but I wonder, would any of these ideas make the world a better place for people? I think not, creators are not thinking how to make the world a better place, they just look for something to mock on and get rich themselves. That's what losers do.
