The Animatrix (2003)
I've seen all nine episodes
They are AWESOME, i cant say more :D well, the following are what i think about each episode
Final Flight of the Osiris -The only full 3D animation of all nine, with one of the best sword fighting scene. very intense and well written as well.
Second Renaissance (part1,2) - Epic, the last battle was well conveyed and disturbing in a way. A very very good prequel to the world of the Matrix.
Program -SAMURAIS..woohoo...the fighting sequence is IMO on par with the fight in Final Flight, another awesome episode
The Detective Story -from the director of COWBOY BEBOP. great grainy animation style, love it. but it confused me a bit...trinity? and what kind of detective owns a computer like that? but still a very entertaining episode
Beyond -One "weird" episode and one of the coolest. I love the music that they use in the episode. my favourite scene is when the bird flies in front of her and she just feel light, very cinematic imo
Matriculated -One episode that can make you "high" ^^; in this episode we see that we can make the machines to convert and help the humans. the humans in this episode found a way to convert the machines, not by reprogramming them, but to choose to do it. they dont want to make the machines as slaves anymore...and the whole converting sequences are just...kinda weird
World Record -I just like this episode, i dont know why...great animation...with one of the best "waking up" scene. btw...it is a story about an olympic runner tried to break a world new record. and the agents feel that he must be stopped from realizing the matrix as he is "special"
Kid's Story -Second episode by the director of COWBOY BEBOP, it has the best chasing sequence of all nine. great episode!
conclusion? AWESOME :-D

Beautiful Storytelling
Millennium Actress is another great movie from Satoshi Kon, who also directed Perfect Blue.
One amazing point about this movie is how well the movie blends the `reality' and the `fiction' of the story, which is her real life experience or which is only parts of movies she had been in.
There are also some parts left unexplained, but that is the spice of the movie. For example, the movie never explains how Genya and his cameraman can actually interact with her past; it depends on the viewer's aptitude to figure it out.
Another great point about this movie is how clever the movie teases your sense of timeline. It jumps from time to time, but still manages to create a beautiful and unique storytelling style.
Another anime masterpiece!
Parumu no ki (2002)
surreal pinocchio tales
At the base of a huge tree lives a botanist with his malfunctioning wooden robot named Palme. One day a wounded female warrior arrives there just ahead of her pursuers. She makes Palme to deliver a capsule to Tamas, a world deep underground.
This movie is not all about the animation, but based heavily more on the morale and symbolism, it wants to explore the meaning of humanity. About how Palme encounters various people, less mechanical but some are more "soulless", how he wanted to become a human to protect the girl he loves, Popo. Even sometimes we can see that Palme is "more human" than any others (makes mistakes like human too).
So, if you want to watch an alternate version of pinocchio movie, watch this , its a good movie.
Serial Experiments Lain (1998)
not for everyone anime
i have watched this series 3 times....and i always get something new everytime i watched this incredible SE:Lain...ok..i love it....but i also have to admit that this series is surely not for everyone...most of them will eventually get bored...it is slow..scattered...and will only give you hints but not the answer....
the theme of existence and how people around the world connected better and better....so what if it reached the point where the word "secret" extinct?....there's a lot of things that we can extract from this series...and that was just one out of many...go watch it if u like to think....this is a "heavy" anime...and slow, but appropriate
fine...maybe some people said that SE:Lain is actually about how the western technology affects japan or something like that....but it seems that the problem is actually global...bits and pieces from everyone of us can be found inside Lain...
for me....the series is absolutely incredible....but again...i admit that this series is not for everyone...
Gin gwai (2002)
hm.....
i reckon that its quite a good movie...but only on the first half or so....the horror they tried to build is kinda useless it the final scenes..(love the lift scene tho...^^;)..if u compare it to Ringu, the SFX in Ringu is better(hail Kenji Kawai!), the final scenes is also better in Ringu (those who have watched Ringu should know what i mean)....even i think that the final "horror" in The Eye is actually disappointing....
now about the story....i dunno why but it reminds me a lot of The Sixth Sense...the "I can see dead people" stuff...(ok...maybe the 6th sense is also not the first movie with that theme...its just what came out of my mind right now)...just scarier in some parts...(cant forget how the girls screamed in the caligraphy class "incident"...hahaha)
ok...conclusion...this is a movie that want to be as scary as Ringu with The sixth sense approachment but even tho they kinda fail to recreate the final touch...but its not really THAT bad.
btw...please forgive me and my bad english...
