Heartfelt love story, with great characters throughout!
9 September 2004
Micheal O'Keefe plays a great baseball player who falls in love with a beautiful girl. Only problem is that their respective careers are moving in different directions. You can see the love and heartache as they try to work things out. Michael's character is an average player until he meets Debby, played by Rebecca De Mornay, and is inspired to greatness, and believe me Rebecca is mighty inspiring in this movie. Michael's character has a great streak on the baseball diamond and the supporting characters are great, I was rooting for their team to go all the way. But the core of the film is about how Daryl and Debby, Micheal and Rebecca, fall in love work it out and then get torn apart by their diverging careers. It is a wonderfully done movie and the script was excellent and I would recommend this movie for its great portrayal of love not conquering all.

"The Rock", "The Villain", "The Action", what more do you want?
2 April 2004
It was a good show, with more time it could have been great. The performances were good, everyone knows Dwayne Johnson, this is the first I have seen of Johnny Knoxville and he was good. I was pleasantly surprised to see two beautiful actress' that I hadn't expected, Ashley Scott from "Birds of Prey" and Kristen Wilson from "Dungeons & Dragons". The action was great and well choreographed and the use of a 4x4 to further show that "The Rock" is bigger than life was a great touch. The story was known and good, if the director had spent more time developing characters it could have been a much better movie. It is worth watching just to see "The Rock" develop as an actor. I recommend this one for all who want to enjoy a good show!

Smoke Signals (1998)
Excellent movie about just being Indian, from Indians.
24 July 2002
I lived where this was filmed and really enjoyed the movie for the content and the location. The inside jokes about being Indian were great and since I no longer live on the reservation it reminded me of home. The story was believable and the actors brought it to life. I had to call my brother and tell him to watch it again and look closer at the end credits and background of the film, it is wonderful. Congratulations to the Cast & Crew.
