Resident Evil (2022)
Again a bad, very bad adaptation of RE. This shouldn't even be called Resident Evil.
I'm really sorry for this series, I was hoping that Netflix wouldn't kill it, but they did...
First of all, I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil games, I've played them all from the first to the last, and as a fan, I would like to say that those who love the game should stay away from the series.
- I really don't like it when they change a key person, like Albert Wesker. Lance Reddick's performance is very good, but still no Wesker. Not that Wesker as in the game.
- The CGI is okay, but it could be better (zombies could be zombies). What I can't accept again is that the zombies are running and jumping again, wtf?
It's not true that the creators couldn't have played through the main Resident Evil games at least once to have an idea of what it's all about. For this, it is not enough to have the Ubrella logo and add a few zombies and that's it and you can call it Resident Evil.
I gave 2 stars only because of Lance Reddick's performance (he was good), otherwise the series deserves 1 star.
Tekken (2010)
This movie doesn't deserve the Tekken name!
First, I am a big fan of the Tekken video game. For me the world's best fighting game is the Tekken series. I watched the movie last night, when I first saw Jin, I knew that something was wrong. In the game Jin was a strong character, but in the movie he was just a weak little boy.
When I see a movie which based on a game, my first looking is to how similar the movie characters with the game characters. Here is horrible the situation, only Heihachi Mishima and the girls look the same as the game :(,but the behavior was not even the same. Even not my favorite character's Bryan Fury. I think actors have to play before the game to find out how people are formed by it, and then play his/her role. For this have I give 3/10.
About the movie: Apart from these, the movie is good. Have some action scene, and fight, not so many but enough.
Sorry, for my advise to the big fan's is not to expect too much, because they will be easily disappointed.
