Soosanghan Pateuneo (2017)
I will stand by this one
Some might think a 9/10 is too high for this drama, and I would understand. There's a bit too much drama, relationship and otherwise, for my usual taste. But, in my opinion, this is made up for by the general group chemistry between the cast and, especially, the chemistry between the leads. Noh Ji-wook and Eun Bong-hee. I truly believe their romantic chemistry stands out from many other Korean romance dramas. Their bickering is fun, their body language is perfect, and their love and support for each other become really strong and admirable by the end. Plus, they just look really good together. The main cases are also interesting and relevant to the characters' personal lives. There's a good amount of suspense and, as I said, the characters work well together as a team. This is one of my all-time favorite K-dramas.
Soundtrack #1 (2022)
Sweet and Simple
Soundtrack #1 is a straightforward friends-to-lovers story revolving around artistry & the trials of life. The aesthetics are great & the friendship between the leads is believable & worth investing in before moving onto their romance. While this does include unrequited love, it doesn't feel forced & it feels like a natural progression of the feelings built in the relationship between the leads. It also stars Park Hyungsik, one of my favorite romantic drama heroes. Han Sohee & Hyungsik do a great job providing balance to each other on screen. I recommend this to someone who wants a really simple, sensible story with some amount of relationship drama with a sprinkle of comedy that shows the growth between two people who actually don't mess up their friendship in the process of becoming romantically involved.
