The Smurfs (1981–1989)

Good cartoon
27 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this cartoon for a while, but now I feel like I should stop watching it because of a few episodes that make me sad or stressed out and here's what they are:

Baby's First Christmas The Secret of Shadow Swamp Snappy's Way

Quite a few episodes of this cartoon have a smurf either being punished or doing bad things. This cartoon should not have Grouchy Smurf in it because no matter what anyone says to him, he'll always keep on saying the words "I hate." Moreover, he is the one who loves Baby Smurf more than any of the other smurfs? Now, that does not make any sense whatsoever. Grouchy should be banned from the village or forbidden to be with Baby Smurf until he changes his negative ways. I would watch this show if it didn't have episodes that I don't like. Moreover, in the last season where they traveled through time, there should have been an hour-long special in which they finally return to the village in their normal outfits. The only good part about the last season is that wherever they went, they wound up in the latest fashions. For example,in Rome, they wore togas just like the normal Romans do. There are a whole lot of episodes of this cartoon that I didn't see because I didn't know they existed until I started watching them on the USA Cartoon Express. I also want to see all the original intros of this show instead of the same old Smurfs Adventures opening over and over again.

Not too much of an enjoyable cartoon!

Warning: Spoilers
For a while, I thought this cartoon was good at first, but then I say episodes where Lucky, Rolly, Cadpig, and Spot ended up being punished or grounded. My only favorite episodes of this cartoon were Lucky to Be Alone where Lucky got to live with rich dalmatians and Love 'Em and Flea 'Em where there was a touching romantic ending between Lucky and Two-Tone. I do like Two-Tone, but I think Cadpig is the cutest pup around since she's so little and adorable. This cartoon was not all that fun because if there's one thing I hate it's when parents get tough with their children. I'm just glad this cartoon isn't on Toon Disney anymore. If it was, I would only record those two episodes mentioned above. If this show had no episodes where the pups were grounded or being punished in any way, I would give it a 10 out of 10, but now that I have seen all episodes, I'm going to give it a 5 out of 10.

Good movie!
27 September 2007
For a while, I enjoyed this movie, but I didn't like the part where Patch was chewing on the carpet. I know that all puppies and dogs do that at certain times, but I didn't like the way his mother got slightly mad at him. I do like the rest of the movie though. I was wondering where Cruella got all those other dalmatian puppies. All those dalmatian puppies were just so adorable. Go ahead and watch this movie if you want, but I like the 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure sequel better. At least in that film, Patch got to be the star and he wasn't as annoying. A dalmatian is the kind of dog I would prefer, but I already have a dog. Overall, this movie deserves an 8 out of 10 rating.

Don't watch this show!
27 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I once watched one episode of this show and already I found it terrible. Pebbles' voice really is annoying. She is just too much like her father always thinking up crazy ideas or jumping to the wrong conclusion about something. What's worse about this show is I don't like it when Penny calls Moonrock a creep at some points in the show. That is a serious insult. Bamm-Bamm was still supposed to be strong, but I haven't seen him being strong in any way. This is a show that doesn't belong on television at all. Personally, I liked Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm as babies and as adults, but not as teenagers. Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm got married in I Yabba-Dabba Do and had babies in Hollyrock-A-Bye Baby. Those two films are OK with me and I also like the episodes of the Flintstones where they stayed as babies, but this '70s show belongs down the drain. Stay away form it. I will.
