Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)

Perfect

The 5 years was worth the wait. Amazing animation, beautiful characters with rich backstories, the fights are amazing, Gwen's story is amazing, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! This entire movie is gorgeous and keeps you hooked and almost forces you to continue watching, that's how amazing it is. The hype around this movie was 100% deserved and made sense, seeing as how this movie may be the greatest film I have ever seen.

This isn't your run of the mill kids move, action movie, animated movie. It's a masterpiece that all ages can enjoy. An amazing sequel that sets extremely high hopes for the third movie.

Same As Every Other Recent MCU Film

It's OK. I guess? Really no different from other MCU films recently. Pretty petty and bad writing. Almost feel bad for the actors having to read off this script. But then again, it's the MCU... owned by DISNEY MCU. They signed themselves to a pretty bad job. I suppose the CGI was better than Love and Thunder, but not by that much. Kinda makes sense, though. Since the budget was only 200 million, they're not used to such a low budget (in their standards). Sadly, though, you have to watch it in order to understand upcoming MCU films. They're gonna make a whole movie about this Kane guy, the main villain. He was also OK, but still no where near perfect, or even good for that matter.

Honest Review of Every Season

Season 1 Review

In my opinion, this season does a great job at introducing all the characters and welcoming you to the world of this amazing show. All the characters all are very well written, especially Eleven. She has a very rich backstory, but we'll get to that later. Main villains here are Dr. Brenner and really just all of Hawkins Labs. Basically the whole plot for this season is they find a girl named Eleven, who escaped from Hawkins Lab. Dr. Brenner and Hawkins Labs as a whole begin to look for her, and as they realize the main boys, (Will, Lucas, Dustin, and Mike) have her, they begin to trace them all down. Good season and a good introduction.

SEASON 1: 8.5/10 _____________________________________________________ Season 2 Review

Now, things get a bit "Meh" here. Now, before we get into the cons of this season, we'll start with the pros. This season introduces Max, one of my favorite characters. It also introduces Billy and the Mind Flayer. This season also gets you invested in Eleven, and gets you wondering more about her. Now for the cons. Writing felt much worse than season 1 and the episodes did not help with that. The worst part of it all was Season 2, Episode 7: The Lost Sister. Completely pointless episode. Eleven leaves, finds her sister. They basically talk for 30 minutes straight and then the cops show up and Eleven leaves. Huh? Yeah, me too.

SEASON 2: 8/10 ___________________________________________________ Season 3 Review

This season helps the show back up after Season 2, which was still OK, but season 3... amazing. Great plot. Introduces Robin, another one of my favorites, and the mall.. the mall screams 80's! They nailed it! Helps you get invested in Max and even MORE invested in Eleven. Also, introduces (for a very short time) Alexei. Pretty good character, and should've lasted longer. Final episode was near perfect. Great final battle, with amazing CGI and special effects. Acting was amazing, too.

SEASON 3: 9/10 _______________________________________________________ Season 4 Review

Perfect. All I have to say. Perfect. Great villain, great EVERYTHING! Gives amazing insight on the characters. Every episode seems centered around Eleven, (which makes sense, she is the main character) while also giving plenty of time to the other characters, helping us understand them more, too. Vecna, like I said at the start, is an amazing villain. Really made the show just a little scary, like they were wanting. Amazing scenes in the final episode. Eddie shredding the guitar, and also the ending. While I hate how it was a cliffhanger, I must admit that all the characters looking up at the ash, the music beginning to play in the background, and the beautiful final shot makes me think the wait will be worth it.

SEASON 4: 10/10 __________________________________________________________ So, overall, I give this show a 9/10. Go enjoy the show!

Velma (2023– )

Horrible

This is one of the worst, if not THE worst show I have EVER watched. No way you can make Scooby-Doo 18+ AND not even have him in the show. Horrible writing, changed everybody's sexuality and race for no reason. I also hate the fact that they changed Shaggy's name. Horrible. Also, this entire show is about sex, FOR WHAT!? They also made EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER a hateful and horrible person, on top of being a bully already. Remove the comedy tag now, also. Jokes are horrible and played out, making them obvious and boring, and even if they were unexpected, they'd still be terrible! HBO needs to apologize and take this garbage off their streaming service.

Arcane (2021– )

One of the Greatest Shows I've Watched

One, just to clear things up, I have NEVER touched League of Legends in my life, so going into this, I had no idea who these people were. The show does an AMAZING job introducing you to Jinx and Vi. And man, don't even get me started on the soundtrack! Amazing work from the whole music department. Now, one of the best parts of the entire show. The animation. STUNNING. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. So fluid! After watching in 4K, I couldn't believe my eyes. The greatest animation I have ever seen. Finally, the amazing voice cast. The way Jinx has cracks in her voice, proving she has gone insane, is just perfect. A must watch for any sci-fi fan and, for this, I rate this amazing show a 10/10. This show is on Netflix. Go watch it now if you haven't already.
