Naandhi (2021)

A pathbreaking Telugu film of recent times

Naandhi is definitely a path breaking Telugu film of the recent times with an off beat subject that was cleanly canned. The no nonsense story telling and editing is the way to go for the younger film makers like Vijay Kanakamedala. Its not a joke to select this subject something like this and pull audience to the theaters during pandemic fears. This is probably Naresh's best performance after his out of the box role in Maharshi. In addition to this support role by Varalakshmi is flabbergasting followed by Priyadarshi and Praveen. I will be too surprised if Naresh does not bag a National award for his mind blowing performance in this flick. This film must be chosen for this years Oscar entries from India. Heart touching emotional saga, mind bending twists in the court room drama are pleasure to watch (you may recollect some old 70s/80s court scene based movies here :) ).

In brief Nandhi is really a nandhi for social subjects based movies of the recent times that was told in very entertaining and gripping manner ,though some short falls with couple of mis-direction bloopers. Go for it, and make this movie as your "nandhi" of watching a film in theater post lock down, if you haven't done yet.

The background score is chilling and very apt but the content fails to keep you glued to your seat. Very simple plot that bores very quickly and 58 mins of this short film makes you feel like you are watching a 3 hours movie. Excellent visuals and mind blowing camera work added by gripping background score but the soul is missing from the story

Boring and dragging

The idea was good but execution went very bad. We can finish this entire story in 4 to 5 episodes. The screenplay is quite boring and despite they know the suspect they won't arrest him until you come to the end of 2nd season.

Stay away from this and save your time

I don't know why reviews are just average for this movie. I watched this in Netflix without any expectations and i liked it instantly. The plot, screenplay and taking was so neatly done without any expectation. This fun filled time paradox movie is simply fun to watch it. My rating is 8.

Ozark (2017–2022)

Good but very boring and dragging

Very good subject, very good caste but the screenplay really bores to death. The story doesn't move and it revolves around unnecessary charcters that deviated from the plot. I wish the screenplay could have been little faster

1-Nenokkadine is a movie that Tollywood is badly waiting for since ages. In the era of rotten formula of regular he-man like hero, 6 songs 5 fights some silly Bramhanandam comedy and a happy ending, Sukumar and Mahesh came up with a mind twister. An unexpected plot with unimaginable sequence 1 Nenokkadine will remain one of the very few impeccable films of Tollywood.

I am not going to review again on the story as already others did above.

Mahesh outperformed himself. I could see a different actor in him. His performance reaches to the peak at the interval bang and in the climax sequence where he goes to his house he lived in childhood. In the era of routine mass entertainers, this movie is a refreshment for those who wants to break from the tradition.

It is not an overstatement to say Sukumar's intelligent making is something I have never seen before in TW. I saw his other films but didn't observe his caliber. Devi Sri Prasad's background score is mind blowing. If we trim off all the songs from this film still this movie would be worth watching.

Only drawback is at few places editing could have been better. Otherwise I would have rated this as 10 stars.
