Merlin (2008)
My favourite TV show, which I can't watch again
From the moment I laid eyes on Arthur and Merlin on the screen, I was captivated by the Merlin TV series. The playful banter between the two characters brought a smile to my face, and their chemistry was undeniable. I couldn't help but yearn for the moment when Merlin would finally reveal the truth about his magic and how he had been instrumental in saving Arthur and the kingdom. I must admit, Gwen's character left me somewhat disappointed as she seemed to fall in love with almost every male character in the show, which made it difficult for me to fully invest in her relationship with Arthur. However, what truly breaks my heart is the painful ending, knowing that Arthur's fate was sealed from the beginning. Even though I knew it was coming, witnessing his demise was a deeply poignant experience that makes it difficult for me to revisit the series. In an ideal world, I would have loved to see new episodes exploring Merlin and Arthur's journey in the modern world. I believe this would have been a captivating storyline that many fans, myself included, would have thoroughly enjoyed.
Safir (2023)
Dear viewer: Run dont waste your time. Yaman no one is trying to destroy your love
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the episodes of Safir TV series. Unlike many viewers, I find myself disinterested in Yaman and Feraya's love story and the constant efforts to undermine their relationship. In my opinion, Yaman is actually the one responsible for its destruction, making him more of a villain than a hero. Ates was right about him all along, and I eagerly watch each episode, hoping that Ates will ultimately find his own happy ending and Feraya will realize that Yaman is not the right person for her. Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that this will happen, as it doesn't align with the typical expectations of a happy ending. This entire situation could have been avoided if Yaman hadn't tried to play the hero and save everyone. The most disappointing aspect of this story is that Yaman made a promise to Ates, vowing to remain like brothers, only to break that promise shortly thereafter. It is worth noting that no one is inherently a hero or a villain from the very beginning. It often takes a villainous act to create a villain.
Update to my review the last episode is the worst thing you can see. If you haven't started watching the series don't run away from this disaster, completely a waste of time.
