Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy! (2006)
Good film. Not amazing.
Where do I start. I have always loved this film, but rewatching it recently... I like this era of scooby doo, fred and daphne's outfits, the animation style etc... Buttttt the villains intentions are rubbish! I love the hypnotyising idea but his real reason for doing so isnt the best. I enjoyed the cruise setting. Plus the taking of Freddies parents is actually pretty spooky. The ghost pirates are also quite scary too! The fog... I did enjoy this film just dont think i remember it very well. Now, if your into pirates and scooby doo this film is for you! Its deffo worth the watch but it isnt the best. Saying that though, i rated this film a 5/10. I like the story line just not the villains plans.
Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998)
Great film. Unpredictable
I really enjoyed this film. Even though i'm a massive scooby doo fan i've never actually watched this film before. Being the first Jim Stenstrum film, it's not been filtered by the other producers. Making it quite scary for a Scooby Doo film. The film isn't predictable and the Were-Cat people are out of the blue. I very much enjoyed the realness of the Zombies during the film, and how they were just trying to help. Though, after many good hearings about the film, it did not fulfill my expectations. Though that may just be because i've never watched it and it's not a classic to ME. But, even saying that it was an amazing watch and I loved it. I'm exited to watch it again with my brother and see how he likes it. Can't say it's the best from the Jim Stenstrum era though. But that's because i had the others on VHS. Loved it though, great watch.
