Tekken (2010)
What was the director thinking?
I guess you could rate Tekken based on the video game or as a movie on its own. Either way its as bad as it can possible get. The story feels artificial just to get on with the fights, you feel during the whole movie that the characters are totally out of place.
Jin Kazama in this movie has for some odd reason Australian accent and has no martial arts training from what i can see. Marshal Law is not a bruce lee character anymore, he is suddenly a beefed up MMA fighter!
Jun (Jin's mother) and Kazuya is enemies for also some weird reason. The only things they are keeping from the game are some of the clothes and hairstyles. If you would review it as a fighting movie it would be bad as well, cause the fighting is non existent. Tekken is nice cause you have fighters with different fighting styles. Here you have mostly MMA fighting which consists of no real proper training behind it.
This movie fails on so many levels. How on earth can a director get money to make a movie like this?
Blood and Bone (2009)
Perfection in Martial-Arts
There has been two movies that has really blown my mind this year, first it was Ong Bak 2 which got me thinking. "Well this is it, now we have come to the limit of what is possible" Tony Jaa served us with every fighting style out there in perfection.
Now Michael Jai White has broken the limit and stands alone as THE most perfected martial artist i have ever seen. This guy got my attention in Undisputed II. He has incredible talent and has a fitness level i thought wasn't possible.
So yeah, this movie has incredible action that gets you on your feet. Michael Jai White is playing with his styles, you laugh, you clap, you have adreanaline through your body. This is the greatest experience in martial arts you will ever see and i have seen it all. On top of that you have a good storyline with incredible great music and actors. I loved it, this is 10/10. This is THE reason you are watching movies.

Bangkok Dangerous (2008)
Surprisingly good
You may think 10 of 10 is too much for this movie but as long as a movie really gets to me it has done its job. There is nothing i want improved in this movie. It is excellent.
The story is about an ice-cold hit-man travelling to Thailand and gets charmed by how nice people is and ends falling in love. I think many wont understand this movie, but it has depth and ton of it. I was really drawn to this movie from the start, its very interesting and i love this story. Nicholas Cage does a really great job of portraying this character and this movie is a must see.
Great action, good lovestory and well acting with incredible music by Brian Tyler which makes this movie one hard to forget.
I totally recommend it for anyone who likes movies for a bit more depth than usual.
Hitman (2007)
Extremely bad
This is one of those movies that should never ever been released. The story, the acting and the camera were all very bad. Mr. Olyphant looks comical as Codename 47, he walks weird and has weird looks all the time. A hit-man movie SHOULD be great but the director plays with the camera in such a way that you never ever get to see what is going on. When Codenamer 47 is fighting it is extremely clipped so you only see bits and bits of the fighting, this is probably because Olyphant lacks martial arts experience.
Seriously i cant find one good thing about this movie, it failed completely.
Rambo (2008)
Such a meaningful movie
This was an awesome movie which was to be expected since Stallone always creates really meaningful movies. The dialogue and the script of the movie is just excellent, its not "just" an action movie. For many people they will get surprised to see such war is actually going on right now, and thanks to this movie many people will learn more about it.
The movie is really gory and brutal, but combat is brutal in reality. In most modern action movies today you will hear audience laughing at how brutal it is, not in this movie. Because this is going on right now, there is nothing to laugh at.
Although John Rambo is a fictitious character, Sylvester Stallone reminds me a lot of him since he risked his life when filming this and bringing the truth out there. Not many knows this. I will remember this movie the rest of my life.
