Nope (2022)
Another failure "from the mind of Jordan Peele"
If you want to talk about foreshadowing, then this sentence is a good indicator you'll be settled in for poor acting, even poorer visual effects, and the certainty that the movie will miss the mark.
The quote "from the mind of Jordan Peele" makes it sound like an absolute must-see epic to end all epics, as if Mr Peele can create such theatrical show-stopping masterpieces that you absolutely cannot miss. It's just simply a warning that the movie will be lacklustre, that's it.
The movie tries too hard. The creature is hardly ominous and terrifying, it's bleak, uninteresting, and it doesn't even remotely invoke fear. Boring, plain, featureless. The manner with which characters die is boring. The manner with which they're 'digested' had potential to be cool and different but it fails yet again to conjure up any feelings from the viewers. Why is this rated a horror? The horror is basically the fact that this movie got the high rating it did.
The acting feels forced, the cinematography is unpleasant, the mood overall is dull.
Once again, I've tried to sit through a film 'from the mind of Jordan Peel' and once again, I'm left feeling disappointed and would have been better off rewatching a Cohen Brothers masterpiece.

Boring and unfunny
Fat pizza? Absolute classic. Houses? Not as good, but still a bit funny. This disappointment? Absolute tripe.
I love a good crass joke, dark humour or silly not-much-to-follow plots that rely on immature jokes. It's easy to watch when you can't be bothered concentrating and want something light hearted.
This isn't that. It's poorly put together, it's reminiscent of Housos but less funny with less likeable characters.
The jokes fell short, they were unfunny and the plot really didn't keep my interest. It felt like several joke-scenes just put together to make a show. Never felt any sort of flow or theme other than stupid humour and bad acting.
I dare say it'll be canceled or go down as a failure. Not much to miss if you avoid it.
You People (2023)
Exhausting
I didn't have any expectations before watching this other than I love Jonah Hill and I love Eddie Murphy.
What a boring, overly-political, and exhausting race piece that has one or two funny moments. If you're looking for a whole movie of why white people and black people don't get along, watch this. The relationship between the two main characters is tiring, painful, and not to mention, strained. The cliches are cringe, the joke attempts fail each time, and to be honest I'm really disappointed in this because I wanted to love it. Every angle just falls flat.
If you want to watch a great movie with Jonah Hill, watch 21 Jump Street.
