Forest of Death (2023)
Amazing Indie Horror Film
This film was a cinematic master piece, the scenery was gorgeous and the shots were so realistic! The scenes in this movie made you feel like you were actually there too! The psychological aspect was very well executed, with just the right amount of gore! This film had great scares, and some amazing actors! There was never a dull or cheesy moment! The music is one of my favorite parts each scene was beautifully paired with a cadence that allowed the viewers to truly get the feel of every emotion the characters were going through! Absolutely an amazing job 10/10 film! DBS Films never disappoints when it comes to a good scare!
The Invited (2017)
Excellent plot!
I truly had a different hypothesis when the movie first began which ended up being totally wrong compared to the outcome. I believe that's what makes a great horror film or psychological thriller because you're not expecting the outcome in the end. The acting was well done, the psychological aspect was amazing, and I believe the plot was very well written. I definitely recommend this to others.
The Haunting of the Morgan Estate (2020)
Excellent jump scares and suspense!
This movie was really tasteful! It had dramatic suspense that kept you wondering while also having just the right amount of jump scares! I especially loved the Practical SFX in the last seen!! I'd recommend this movie to others! :)
The Haunting of the Suicide House (2019)
This movie had a great plot!
I love how the movie was modern and was about a team of paranormal investigators I feel like those always make for the best unpredictable scares!! That's what makes a horror movie scary, the " unpredictability" because it keeps you wondering what's next!!
The Whitlow House (2018)
Awesome concept over all!
I personally love the idea of a couple buying a house for the history of it. It would totally make sense for a paranormal investigator couple to buy a haunted house then film about it and one day sell it for more! I mean just look at Zak from Ghost Adventures he does the same thing! Overall I though the movie was better than most indie horror films!!
Into the Forest (2019)
Great story line concept!
This film was a good horror film
overall! I can honestly say it wasn't my favorite DBS horror film/indie film, but I do think it was a good horror movie for beginner horror people! I think the actor's scripts were realistic and plausible which I always love! I also loved the musical choices for this film as well!
The Devil in the Room (2020)
Excellent acting skills!
This film was so good!! In my opinion it was more of a psychological thriller!! It made you question what was real and what wasn't multiple times which I feel like, is the whole point of a "psychological thriller." It was a very tasteful film that had a bit of romance but it didn't over take the horror aspect of the film. Overall I'd have to say this is one of my favorite DBS films! 10/10 recommendation!
The Haunting of the Murder House (2022)
Such an amazing movie (lots of jump scares) :)
This movie was so amazing!! The movie had such an amazing plot, and many jump scares! I love the used of gore, and anticipation with this movie. Normally you don't get gore and psychological thriller at the same time! Overall amazing work, acting was great and natural, SFX was beautiful done, and the movie was scary!! 10/10 :)
The Girl in Cabin 13: A Psychological Horror (2021)
Great compared to most indie horror films.
As someone who has been involved with big name entertainment industries, and the behind the scenes production, I believe this film was great given the resources of the company! Most horror films are predictable, and often wait until the middle of the film to reach any type of "jump scare" the reason this movie stood out to me with out giving "spoilers" was very early on in the film jump scares were already occurring, which I enjoyed! Over all the setting and sense of unpredictability was great. The only thing I would have change would be a little bit of a more "natural toned" script. I felt like some of the scenes sounded a bit too robotic. Over all this would be a movie I recommend to others. Especially those new to the horror community wanting to try some movies out to peak their interest! I'd like to say "great job" to the people involved! :)
