Dirty Dancing (I) (1987)

Still great
6 May 2024
Recently bought on dvd from charity shop with others for pence. Though I've put off watching as thought I'd be bored with it despite really liking it as a kid. Maybe coz I know the whole plot thought I'd be bore. Put in in and nit the case. The film is Timeless and has aged wonderfully. Probably due to it wS a period piece on its release. The cinematography is great vibrant colours and great wardrobe selections from preppy to cool. The film probably has in the top 19 best soundtracks to a film you can get. Swayze is wonderful in his role as Johnny, cool, mysterious , tough, sensitive. The whole cast is on point with acting and baby & her dad are great & I was so emotional invested in their bond. The dancing is fantastic & makes me question how the heck I can get into even like all the twerk cr@p out now. When this is real dancing. Great footwork classy, sexy & so graceful Definitely still the number 1 dance film ever made. Swayze was such a legend.

A great Classic.

Locked Up (I) (2017 Video)

Got through it
4 May 2024
I Genre thats been done better before. Id say theyve tried to combine films like Jailbait & Raze together. Which could've been good if it had the talent and MA skills. Unfortunately I'd say for this type of movie if you want the nudity stick with Jailbait its more convincing & produced better & if you're happy to go with no Sexual scenes than RAZE is a far superior film than both & in a league of its own.

This movie starts off with okish acting but shaky camera work. Then as it goes on the acting is up & down & I'm sorry but I burst out laughing at the SA scenes. They were so weak by the guards that all I could think of was the old story that Asian men have a little pee pee. The fights themselves were nothing special a bit sloppy but with the occasional good round house.

All I kept thinking from the beggining is if I were her relatives I'd have flown her home quickly before any order.

Despite its thin premise of what I expected I still stayed engage and didn't switch off or doze off so it did have its positives. The whole rat thing was not believable.

Fell apart in last 30 minutes
1 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I decided give this a go, because I find Emma Roberts easy to watch & Dave Franco ( I find him kinda cute even with his squeaky voice) He was given a role here to play a daredevil skilled competitor for a online Dare game. Unfortunately, there starts to be some plot holes and silliness in the last 30minutes. The bike scene before its great & our duo stir up the passion inside us for romance ( I admit I miss my youth lol) . I knew there could be a Dark turn & someone was going to want to know who's behind the game. Unfortunately the direction they took was just so not in sync.

After Emma & Dave do the bike dare & attend her friends party fir another dare and argument with her best friend. Emma gets upset & decides to run to the police declaring to everyone she's " Telling" on the game . So everyone's shouting " snitch". This made absolutely NO SENSE. If she didn't want to play any more all she has to do is not do a dare and she will be classed as a fail or bail & just be out the game. So going to :Snitch/tell was just weird. She's then abducted and apparently everyone online votes for a shoot out which is murder considering how many people watch this for dares it just seemed so unrealistic they'd want Murder ( like the whole State). The hack in made no sense, no game owners are exposed. So really they coukd still control. Another big plot hole is Francos character was a finalist the year before but yet no-one recognises him. Also anyone who loses a dare or stops loses all their money they won from previous Dares?? No1 would play if that was the case. It just would not be worth it. Its a shame the last 30minutes were so stupid. I expected better odds or Franco needing to save her from a dare. No stupid snitch crap. I feel let down ad after their bike journey I wanted more of their bonding & felt ready to definitely give it a rewatch ( even right after) but I don't think I would again now due to the bad script ending. Shame I liked the chemistry with Franco.

Saw X (2023)
6/10
Made well
29 April 2024
The movie doesn't feel cheap. It's set well and acted well. Camera work, cinematography are all on point for this to feel like a propper movie. I haven't watched any of the SAW films in years. Think I only ever saw 1 2 & possibly 3.

I liked horrors when young, but I'm not into torture porn & the front cover to this already is very squeamish looking ( I was actually trying to eat as the cover part came on & had to just not look as the thought was making me feel sick lol).

Anyway, I let it go on and we get a big enough break from violence but all the while just feeling creeped out by the character of John Kramer. He looks what he is, cold hearted and evil, though they try to make him some sort of anti hero by the end, ( YH THAT DOESNT WASH WITH ME EITHER) Apparently from what I've read this is suppose to be a prequel and set between the first & second movie but going off it and having not watched in years the others I couldn't tell, and I'd say for anyone who's not watched the other films first. You won't need too. You can delve into this as a stand alone movie.

Luckily I wasn't that squeamish about the later kills. But more annoyed that the final 2 who were supposed to be the worst sinners actually were given the most easiest non brutal escape trap. Especially when the others who didn't deserve to be jigsaws wrath got the worst. Its like the less sinful they are the worst ways they go.

Then of course theres the absolute Hypocrite Kramer himself. Never would you be sat for nearly 2hours thinking someone deserved cancer & wish they could go in the worst way. Buy with him that's all you can think. How he got followers I will never know. Guess I'd have to watch the rest I've missed to find out.

I have to say if this is suppose be set after saw 1 I'm surprised in his frail condition he was able to do so many other movies lol. Still it's a switch your mind off movie & made & acted to a good enough standard. So people who like the final destination films or scream etc will probably like this.

5 is probably being generous tbh
29 April 2024
I liked the stage and main character. Cinematography was right and felt like you were finally back in a better time. The problem were the events weren't really shocking nor the responses and the young girls acting was really bad. The main talk show host, his skeptic and the lady in charge of the girl were all ok and I liked watching them. I was also glad it wasn't so shot like all the awful found footage films ( I DESPISE found footage films)

It just needed more fleshing out. And the ending was just confusing. No real fear factor anywhere.

BBCs Ghostwatch did it better back in the 80s ( the real FIRST Found footage movie)

I'm a but gutted as like I said it had nostalgia feel and the time passed quickly for no reward tbh. Still if you want pass time and not feel stuck in the awful decade of now. Then give it a go.

Billy Madison (1995)
8/10
Feel good movie
19 April 2024
I like Sandler alot. Though not all his movies.

I tend to like the ones that are lower rated to the ones higher. Billy Madison is probably my favourite though.

Carefree jobless goaless Sandler who spends his days as a grown man getting wasted and still doing pranks. Does a U turn when he risks losing inheriting the family company to 1 of his dad's top Co eds, he can't stand. In a effort to prove he's worthy, he agrees to redo all his bought off education by his dad & get the grades himself.

Sandler goes all out loopy along with the rest of the grownups & his arch nemesis ( who also likes to goof in Billy's face behind his dad's back).

The whole cast must have had such fun making this.

The scenery is lovely. Treated to constant sun ,carnivals pools and parties.

Some funny scenes as he falls for his teacher & has students trying to phone her.

Must say Veronica his girlfriend really knew how to do the sexy 90s look. She looks fantastic giving him a beating round the swimming pool.

The nicest thing about the movie is it shows we're as young as we feel inside no matter how we look on the outside. Or society expects us to act. This is why I love Sandlers free spirit & really identify with his character. We see him getting on and bonding with the kids in the younger classes & also knowing when to sympathetically help certain classmates out through life's embarrassments of growing up. Going from cocky to caring. We also see the contrast once he hits high-school of the attitude changes from elementary.

Not all gags as funny or they've been better in other films but felt forced here, but for the most part you will smile & chuckle through 80% of the film as long as you're not born after the 90s & sweeped up in cancel culture & offended by everything. Though I'd say there's very little for that crowd to get offended about ( maybe the Double dare scene, will have them getting angry).

It's a nice plot with a funny villain. If you need some comfort movie time, then this is one for the list. Great happy inclusive tone all round.

Don't think it's for me
17 April 2024
This came up recommend in a horror group. Unfortunately I've tried 3 times at least now to watch it. I don't even think I've manage to progress further than 15minutes I total through the 3 sittings. It looks colourful and 60s/70s styling on the actress. Which usually I love old horrors, but I was just bored listening to her waffling onto herself at the beggining about... I have no idea what?!? Like someone else said its like watching some1 read from their lines rather than act.

Just read in other comments there is some nudity 20minutes in. So didn't make it that far & maybe I should try again hahaha but zzzzz.

Longer doesn't mean better
11 April 2024
It gets a 6 because as a 80s child I grew up on Superman & with what happened to Reeves watching a version of his character be brought back to life does tear me up. On the otherhand I had to watch this over 2 days and can tell you the first hour and 20 minutes are very boring.. Something else I noticed is I kept waiting for certain scenes I liked about the theatrical release there was 2 in particular yet for some strange reason I did not see them in this movie. I don't know if its possible I missed the first so I will Google but the 2nd was definitely not there as I was right I keen on this superman scene.. Also what the heck was that epilogue ending. That had absolutely nothing to do with the film and Bruce visioning Superman as evil is a disgrace after the unbelievable killing him off the first time round. Stop trying to tarnish Superman a classic hero. Who was the greatest role model on TV for children growing up. Shame we don't have that goodness now.

I think on the positive they may have fleshed out cyborg as I'm sure we saw more to him . Though it's a long time since I watched JL. But you do feel a soft spot for him in this version. I like Amber heard in movies despite the hate she's under from the public so was nice to see her get a part that I don't remember as much or at all in the first. But yh there was definitely a comedic scene with aquaman over wonder woman missing from this film & Stefans " Kryptonian" these were things that had stood out and I liked in the first washed away. Not sure how this version gets higher marks tbh. Agree with other commentary that it's too cgi that it's very video game looking. Though I've said this about nearly all cgi. I'm oldskool and prefer special effects. The highlight of the movie as with the theatrical is seeing kal el arise. I think I will rewatch the original theatrical though in futre.

Fright Night (1985)

Best Vampire movie ever
6 April 2024
As a 80s child I was obsessed. My VHS of this movie got brutally rewound by 8year old me and I was in love with Chris Sarandon, which us without a doubt the series and greatest Vampire ever. For me this knocks Lost boys and Bram stoker's dracula out the window. The soundtrack is probably one if the best going to a film. And Brad fiedels Different interpretations of the same music score come to me & Dream window are so seductively sexy , hypnotic and filled with sounds of the night. The acting is solid from all the. Ast beautiful cinematography, sets lighting scenes. And wonderful hand made special effects unlike the abysmal non stop cgi used today that just feels like you're watching a video game.. Vampire dandridge and those red eyes in the club were awesome. Amanda bears is amazing going from squeaky innocent voice to user sexy sounding before turning into the most frightening looking Vampire ever. The film is full of fleshed put characters all performing top notch. Charlie, Peter, evil Ed. The 80s really were a league of their own. The sequel for me was nearly as good so not sure why it's so low reviewed. This is probably my personal film of all time even though it might not be the GOAT ( I'd probably say that's Aliens) but this is a masterpiece in film making and music.

Soul Man (1986)

Enjoyed it
1 April 2024
OK so White chick's is my favourite comedy & I never knew there'd been a race swap before it. Till saw a fb post. I actually liked it. It was a lot uneven. But knocked it out the bag with his friends classroom speech at the end which nailed it in reverse politically. My score was going up and down. At first opening the acting was a little hammy but improved. I found myself thinking the story is just average 5 but would give 6 for some the nostalgia vibes.. ( I don't know why but I was getting ASMR from simple things from back then. Peaceful office and fax noises) made me miss the 80s. It then does throw in the occasional LOL gags. Like a dinner date scenario where each family member see different versions of our lead. ( The Mums vision, is hilarious). In general though this was a rom com. So it was average all round. The acting was nice, the little kid/Son was adorable. The professor likeable & a solid bestfriend. Who's Dramatic courtroomesque words of defence for his homeboy were PERFECT. This is nice comfort movie. It's a lot more mellow compared to white chick's. Due to storyline and time. So WC will always be the best but this was enjoyable.

Yawn
29 March 2024
This has got plenty well known actors & the actress from LODT. But honestly it was pretty stale. Sure they all did well at keeping the same expression street face through the whole film.. just had a whole lot of family & acquaintances arguing all the way through for No reason. Not sure why they had different actors to play young old versions. As channing and shia still look the same grown up. It didn't really go in the way I was thinking from title which made it sound like another basketball diaries, but also, I was kind if hoping to see him & Scot do the plan. I started to use the FF button to get through the narration as it was repetively predictable. There not much to say apart from cinematography are good and you git 2 good looking guys and a girl. Think the hobby girl was the only interesting thing tbh. Should have used her more.

Always entertaining
22 March 2024
O don't watch it often buy when I do it's still fresh Was a Great unique Spin to soul takers and Demons. Done in a more cartoonist style though with some the bad cgi, yet it still manages to be quite creepy this would've been even better with more practical effects. As it is its shot perfectly in a blockbuster movie style. The scene with the goat is great & a great turn to send the curse away. Acting all round is great. Lots of yucky moments of body stuff. Honestly that old lady is scary lol and u absolutely hate her. Shame this never got a sequel.. Save me from hell lol the movie is pretty pg viewing around so wouldn't worry bout it not being family appropriate.

Even better than the first for me
18 March 2024
I always liked this one more from what I could remember . It's been well over a decade since I watched these but went watch the other yesterday and again tonight. And found it a great comfort film and had forgot some the gags. Though some were hit and miss. It was a great comfort film. So I thought this might not be to my liking as much as I remember as I only remembered cock meat sandwich & that I always found the plane scene amusing. But there was lots of other little things I'd forgotten. Like the hoodies. And the A hole agent ( who I found quite amusing watching him getting a rush from listening 🎶 to Danger Zone lmao) . Neither films are over top funny. They're just switch your mind off films. This tries to be more action film bigger budget while the first film is bit more chill stoner. I like them both equally I think..maybe not the ending in Amsterdam as much as no1s ending. But they're good to watch every once in a while, if you want to relax. What I love most about watching these films is it really shows how better society was back then and all races could laugh at themselves and their stereotypes. Which doesn't happen today .. Well mainly only 1 race always offended today. This was when every1 was fair game for a roast. We see Harold and kumar roast themselves. I totally forgot about Harold's " What tha Fa, What tha Fa" at the beggining hahaha hilarious.

6.5 good feel good movie
17 March 2024
It's not the greatest comedy. But it does have some good laughs & great chill vibe. It's 1 of those mobies you can watch from time yo time and it'll make you feel relaxed. Obviously the Battleshits scene is funny , watching Harold gag lol.. why that 1 girl gotta gace. British accent ( I'm British... This us probably something we'd do though hahaha) don't expect a masterful plot & not everything lands or is on the mark funny.. tbh from what I remember I use to laugh at the 2nd film ( guatanamo Bay ) more. .. But if you need something light hearted and you've not seen it before. Put it on. It's on plexFrer at minute.

One from my childhood I still watch once a decade
9 March 2024
Been a while so couldn't remember the ending.. I just love the hammer horror movies and from this era etc they had such a comforting cinematography. The lighting, the mood, the style. They were equal to their American counterparts. Yes their budget sets etc buy the acting on form. I liked the along with "Horror on the midnight wxpress" and a couple of others. I have to say. The mummy Queen Tera just looks absolutely beautiful kist lay there. Beautiful make up and costume and I just wish the film delved into her back more alive ir even a sequel.. obviously. They explored this more in The mummy films in the 90s.. watching it and looking at past England, I really miss how beautiful my country once was. This is not going to be for the younger generation it will be to slow or not good enough effects. It's nit some Hollywood blockbuster but for me it has its charm. And gave me the nostalgia films I got watching it as a child. I had thought itnwas from then60s not 70s originally. You can very much stoll see that style.

Total Recall (I) (2012)

59 minutes in had enough
8 March 2024
OK 59 minutes in and ive had enough and its starting to look cheap and irritating. Will I ever go back to it in the future to try finish 2nd half ...maybe.. idk. Nearly everything was wrong with this film from the start except Farrell, although when it gets to that scene they find a pre recording of themselves the acting was atrocious. But yes Colin could totally have pulled of a good action flick he's managed before. Could he out do Arnold Schwazerneggar and on one of his own Blockbusters NOT A CHANCE. Was kinda of weird to here his Irish accent in place of the original but you could kind of let it go as you watched him, unfortunately everything else was WRONG..The entire sets and city.. why did the Generation for the 2007s onwards decide every futuristic thing was gonna be either really cgi sleek spaceship designs or in this case the overused look of a China scrap metal jungle city... ugh so sick of the drab metal towers, prostitute lights, scruffy over pedestrianised look. Give me the 80s dystopia version any day. On top this picture is to grainy and dark. All the other characters are LAME & Kate Beckinsdale's posh English accent was grating on me terribly ( and I'm British)!! It felt so miscast and I turned off at the point of him in the car with Biel .. looked even worse.. compared to us getting Sharon Stone & her Rival back in the day. I actually got a physical headache from the dreary picture. The whole scene at recall where the owner flips out was terrible acting.. The hand phones a cute idea. But this just needed better sets cinematography acting story.. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR IF YOUVE NEVER SEEN EITHER AND WATCH THE ORIGINAL 80S ONE WELL RELEASED 1990 WITH ARNOLD. WAY MORE BETTER IN EVERY WAY.

Ruined by the ending
7 March 2024
OK This wasn't going to be as good as the first. Due to the first having more jump to extreme scenarios. But I like the idea of a sequel with less extreme time rejumps and maybe better outcomes for this guy. The production value was there cinematography and acting all good enough. What went wrong was the last act and definitely the ending where in by they tried to copy the firsts. This total ruined the mood of this film. There was no reason for him going all the way back to the beggining yo dump her when he loved her. In fact there was no reason after the jump where his friend got fired and he followed to go back to get promoted be still had his love and a home. It was just gluttony at this point. There was no rational stakes created to do that jump to become VP. But yh the whole dump her at end & other stupid predictable outcome car chase ruined this. I can't say it wasn't a easy watch, it was. I never felt ugh I need to turn this off, I didnt get the low 4/10 score, especially compared to the tripe we get today. But I think the ending is probably why. A easy watch if you're bored with a little hanky panky.

Easily to see concept
29 February 2024
From the beggining watching the controlled people just looked exactly like all the interaction games that came out about 12 years ago. And people were hooked so this concept was very realistic to me. The lead does well enough with the action. And even though there's not much scenes from the lad that owns and controls him, he's obviously has a charismatic on screen presents when you see him. The visuals in his rich pad for the time are nicely done. My only concern is the story goes a little thin and the kids talking into releasing his avatar by outsiders, where as I'd have liked to see a more passionate reason built up through interactions with his player. It's unlikely a kid that rich would get arrested and was strange how he was just let go and was able to interact again at the end. This was the only major flaw. Think they went overboard with the fat greasy perv. This was supposed to be rich vs poor concept to end up this way, so I'm not sure how some1 who looks like he's just done a oil change on a 1000 cars would be well off. Was good to see Alison Lohman. She's barely been in any movies sadly, despite a strong presence she usually gives in films.. I would've Loved to see how much better this film would've been made in the 80s or 90s at a time b4 these games existed yet, as they were the best eras for producing sci-fi's. Had it been made back then with the type of cinematography, style, and iconic actors and more real bigger sets, this would've been translated into a unforgettable blockbuster as it is it just a good concept, good lead actor with occasionally good computer depictions. But becomes thin and rushed alot in places. Like he just lands each place without much travel. The 80s / 90s would've filled this better. Still worth a watch.

The film that started the CGI craze & the only CGI worth watching
27 February 2024
Been A while but still what epic movie.. the 90s were the era of Brilliant action or horror movies.. Y2k the beggining had the odd Great film but, less and less started to come out and now. Uuuuhhh film industry and TV is abysmally. I watched this film and the Era its from showing a boy being able to teach a machine and it learn more Humanity than humans and the world gave today. Originally I use to prefer this over the first because its great action. But then I proffered the first because it was the original unique story it had 80s style , music a different tone and of course Kyle Reeces beautiful declaration to Sarah that has to be 1 of my top 2 favourite iconic scenes in movie history ( along with probably Alabama fighting Goldifini in True Romance. Both are heart wrentching) honestly though T2 is so good and stylish and gas its own Heart felt scenes with brilliant graphics and action I have to leave them at a tie. Both are equally Great. (Unlike the Alien Franchise where ALIENS the sequel is far superior to its predecessor ).. I really miss these times where we had actors that coukd fricking Act and weren't just getting Role because they're either insanely beautiful or their non white, so they're there just fir political Agendas. We had real Actors back then. Who were just also iconic if some not also very comic hero.. I've realised after watching total Recall again other night. I just love Arnie. His films are fire from back in the day. Sure his voice is always the same but character wise be can play multiple stereo casts, he stands out us charismatic and just One of a Kind.. another thing we never see anymore. Beautiful film with a beautiful music score and incredible cinematography. Really is in the top 5 GOAT Movies for me. A must watch. And the only reason there's a star down from 10 was because of a plot hole in regards to the villain. I won't say want. You wouldn't know it anyway unless seen the first.

Total Recall (1990)

Still Great. Great plot, theories, natural special effects
23 February 2024
Total Recall extends beyond these superficial Action elements. Starting on earth then taking place in Mars. Both great unique futuristic sets for their time & now.

Its populated with fantastic themes open for philosophical and ethical discussions, "Total Recall" asks what is the meaning of someone's identity in a world where memories and experiences are commodities that can be erased or fabricated in a whim? These embraced by the public, alterations result in our hero doubting his own reality leaving the audience to pick up the pieces of this convoluted (in a good sense) storyline of double crosses and ambiguous proceedings wondering whether Quaid does things based on his own free will or not. Verhoeven's film explores and visually represents such concepts touching upon anti-corporation and fascism ideas. This politically, morally and visually unattractive future serves as an analog for manipulating reality for the common people through news and the media at the behest of those in power. The Martian resistance is branded as terrorists and their indiscriminate slaughter is described as a minimal force use order restoration. These not as distant as you might think topics remain highly pertinent in the time of social media, where the line between a person's average life and more curated online life becomes fogged.

The large scale production design reflects these notions too. Production designer Jan Roefls employed a Harsh, distant and concrete based architecture to resemble a society being torn apart from a socioeconomic gap between those with power and those without. This world is indifferent towards the suffering of the Martian colonists as long as the supply and demand chain of Mars is steady. It is for this reason precisely why the man made environments in the red planet are under blood like hues associating this new "dystopia" with hell; its residents resembling more demons than humans due to cheap dome protection and poor air circulation.

Arnold plays an everyday man at the beginning, but once the action starts rolling, you know you are in competent hands. Verhoeven maximises the large budget to infuse the several face offs between Quaid and Richter's men with gore, a trail of bodies and no subtlety (e.g., "human" shield moment) adding a perhaps the first fight between women in Hollywood with actual choreography. The stunning Sharon Stone is a standout in her 90s aerobics costume kicking ass when the occasion calls for it catapulting her in superstardom and Rachel Ticotin brings a tough and believable vulnerability as the tough Melina.

A big credit to the incredible work of Rob Botin's on special make up effects which blew minds away during its release and established the film's creative approach to grotesque mutants, asphyxiations and "traveler's masks", all bearing such craftmanship that unfortunately is not being experienced today under the barrage of faceless CGI "monstrosities" and graphic filters.

"Total Recall" has an edgy script which thirty years (and more) afterwards remains thoroughly relevant. Its relatable hero, an excellent supporting cast and Verhoeven's frenetic direction of the on-screen absurdities (and multiple fatalities) make this not only one of the best Schwarzenegger films but one of the best science films of all time.

Also I'm unsure why some people Question was this real or All part the Recall holiday. I always thought It made it pretty obvious it was real. Just by the Action of the Recall Centre alone??

Solid... Apart from the very end. I do recommend giving it a go
18 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
OK it's took years but I've finally got around to watching this.. its score on imdb is very low and wasn't when I first saw it to view a decade back. But I put it off because even though I loved horrors as a kid.. I don't like torture porn and too many films are bordering on snuff in the past and I was worried that this would also cross that line( but didnt luckily), So even more off putting the thought of viewing when suffering with depression. However I put it on and from the off I recognised Nicholes from the movie P2 ( which is also a solid flick) she was good on that movie so that gave me some hope.. obviously the film is what it is just a woman on woman fight movie and I was going to give it a Solid positive 5, because I knocked a point off because they killed off Nicholes in the very beggining. She was thrown into it unknown of any rules, she was the best fighter & realistically you wouldn't show mercy if you realised some1 was going to kill you. However as we continued on with the cast all confined to limited space and jist fight after fight. I did find the victims all truly solid actors & I did become emotionally invested in their characters in the very short time they had. The girls really helped up it. The male owner of the Corp was annoying. He knocks a point off really. As I said I felt like Nicole's was too good to kill off but it also rose the question they might not have anywhere to go for the endings if they didn't. There was a predictable sacrifice among allies but despite knowing this would be thrown in there somewhere, I still shed a tear. The girls were all athletic so the fights looked honest. My next gripe would be the villainous phoebe of the hostages. She was killed off way too easy!! I think they wanted to turn Sabrina into a uma thermal ( kill bill) at that point. But the end blow didn't quite do it for me & rather than laughing It would've been more believable for phoebe to strike bk quietly. Another qualm is even though the plan with isabelle was obvious in the final.. it was confusing after how isabelle got killed and not realistic.. also Sabrinas skills really amped up again to make her like kill bill style they even added txt to the film to style it kill bill way. So weird she couldn't take phoebe without being given mercy. But it was entertaining to watch. She did great her moves choreography were all on point only for it to be ruined by the very very last moment after she escapes and runs from the bridge ( and throws the guns! Like wth? As if you would do that. Also confused why they didn't complete the kill bill throttle they went with and have her end all the snobs)) This film could have been a solid 7/7.5 easy. I was gonna ignore the little things like beggining etc but that final ending really wasn't right. But I can't knock it down to a 5 because I genuinely was engaged and the girls all did well for something that should be such a thin script. My advice is I'd recommend this if you're bored alone or need a pass time. It's well produced, entertaining & interesting to watch how each girls mentally cope.

Engaging to a point

This is basically just stuck in the radio centre like punk up the volume.. the acting fine though mendez was erratic. Our nale lead has enough charisma to carry this on his shoulders as long as possible. But in the end it kind of leaves us revolutionises and claustrophobic or a bit sick of tge same set Nothing else to add but the site annoyingly makes us have to mandatory input 60p characters Nothing else to add but the site annoyingly makes us have to mandatory input 60p characters Nothing else to add but the site annoyingly makes us have to mandatory input 60p characters Nothing else to add but the site annoyingly makes us have to mandatory input 60p characters.

First off I have to say this film had me thoroughly engaged & wanting to see more and more I was worried it was going to suddenly end whilst leak of my interest only to be vappy to see it still only half way through. Sadly the film ending us disappointing. There was tbh a part in the film that it did feel off to me. ( her patient visit to the woods, where we meet a new character) at this point I felt a but itied off like error not another one this turning into the movie split? Can't remember it's name . When just a second ago the visions coming were interesting. From here on it started to lose its way.. kinda going for a stigmata/split cross with some voodoo inbreds too boot. I understand they wanted to try create something unique. And the woman blowing souls is a interesting concept but it clashed with our patients transformation. And it went from good acting and interesting demonic story to like watching " Here's Johnny: the shining. Just so awkward amd tbh miss voodoo queen caused this so I'd have took a gun to her head. I'm left kind of numb after having invested myself into this. Such a shame. I really didn't know how to rate it. I've put 5 it had the acting and good production feel and first half entertaining. So I will rate those things. I would've recommended this as a must watch but the messy last quarter has left me with upto viewer.

OK this has to be the best scene I've used that song used. Didn't really is it was that old lol. The movie itself is nothing special. Diane Franklin is as pretty as always and Steve antin a catch despite being the player. You kind of realised what was going to happen at the end but I felt cheated they left it there & it didn't continue on with the aftermath. Really felt like they just gave up on what to right next.. its classic camp 80s and some the acting wooden. But thee are a few little chuckle moments and it has a ok soundtrack when it does play music. Does make you miss being young again. Despite being no masterpiece it still shows why then was better than now.
