Finding Christmas (2013 TV Movie)

Awkward & cute

Due to this being an older movie for the network, it definitely starts out pretty bad & I'm sure some people will stop watching because it's cheesy & it has a few bad acting scenes. It's also different than most Hallmark movies because it's not the 1 main couple from the beginning, it's 2 stories in 1. This now happens a lot more where they try to feature 2-3 total couples per movie, overdone a little IMO though trying to achieve PC.

J. T. Hodges & Cristina Rosato aren't the best actors in the world but they were the only reason to watch this movie, way more chemistry than 5 Hallmark movies combined. A few scenes with them are better than 90% of most of the movies made in the last 3 years & that type of connection is what they should be trying to achieve in every movie, but rarely do.

The other couple isn't as good, mainly due to the bad acting & lack of chemistry.

I don't give out high scores for these movies because of the obvious flaws but it is 1 of my favorites, I encourage you to check this one out if you haven't seen it yet.

The real story not revealed here is the F were killed off because they also used to have noise & can you imagine listening to that 24/7? It's bad enough listening to their diatribes that aren't inner thoughts.

The people who like this movie are either naive or they love the propaganda, it's so in your face as another review stated, it's nonstop M are bad, F are good. The only M that might be good are the wimpy, easy to control types.

This is why I prefer movies from South Korea or even France now, the movies put out by the US, Canada, UK & Australia seem to only be made to serve an agenda, & that is to diminish WM especially & prop up everyone else.

It's getting to the point these movies deserve an automatic 1 rating because it's no longer about entertainment & I've started to not even finish watching them now, congratulations movie makers for selling us out after we make you millionaires. And this is coming from someone who has watched over 10,000, the last 5 years have destroyed the industry.

Other goofs from this movie:

1. Nobody hears the ship land on their planet & the F isn't wearing a seatbelt but of course she survives & the 3 M die.

2. F wears bright orange in a green surrounding, I thought they were the smart ones.

3. New planet looks just like Earth, even has horses.

4. Too many uses of 'Be a man' & 'I'm Todd Hewitt'

With all the young actresses out there, especially with so many from the UK in what seems like every major role, it was a bad choice for Knightley. Get someone who is no older than 20 to match reality, she's an old looking 23 at the time, the same goes for Fiennes who is 23 yrs older than Knightley, when it should only be an 8 year difference. Unfortunately accuracy isn't a huge concern for the movie makers, which is why they fail so often.

Charles Grey was also done wrong as he would have been 10 yrs old when she first met him & they make it appear he was 17.

At least 1 reviewer got the reaction the producers wanted to portray, total sympathy for poor Georgiana & a deep hatred toward the Duke.

Never mind she volunteered into that relationship for money & status, knowing full well that all Dukes/Kings wanted sons, she could have married Grey in the modern revision of this movie & had her happy ever after moment.

I would like to see just 1 movie where M aren't the bad people all the time, this storyline is getting so old propping up every F character with revisionist history.

If you look at the 10 ratings, over 13,000 from Morocco alone, what a shock that the director is Moroccan. Not to mention over 500 single line reviews of a 10, so much for verifying accuracy from this website, allowing this to happen to make the movie appear great, it gets picked up on streaming services & the rest of us watch thinking it might be good with some decent actors.

Newsflash, it's not a good movie & at best you can see the overall rating about what it deserves 4.5.

It should be lowered to 5 alone by having the UN in this working with the US military, they are anti-American organization & should be defunded, so the movie starts off with propaganda. The rest of the movie is boring, unrealistic & copies others.

It's funny reading the comments from Brits with their panties in a bunch. Do you know how many movies I've seen with Scott Adkins playing an American, first insult, & he's typically playing a bad guy to demean America. Americans are always the bad guys in movies made by China, it's called propaganda, & sadly it's mostly foreigners who love to get paid representing 'horrible' America.

So many people are brainwashed by the corrupt media & than make comments like they know everything from a idiotic movie.

The whole Seal team in this movie are foreigners, most of the people who paid for this are foreigners & than you act like it's the Americans who are pathetic pumping up America & bashing the SAS, no it's the foreigners who made this crappy movie. It's propaganda to make our best military soldiers look like criminals & you fell for it.

Real Seals, if you knew them, are good friends with SAS, they served together, so trying to act like SAS are superior to Seals is childish & why don't you ask a real SAS what they think. As with all branches of the military, it's a routine thing to bash each other. People who never served are too soft to understand.

One of thousands of movies the last few years where it's supposed to be America but almost all the actors are from other countries. In what world are 3 British people doing an invasion in America, complete rubbish from the start, especially with another bad ass F taking part in the invasion, another PC installment of a character that doesn't exist in the real world but it makes F feel better about themselves taking M roles.

It's almost as if Hollywood has disappeared & it's been replaced by London & Sydney for all actors now, I guess the viewers are not supposed to notice this change or we're just supposed to not care when foreigners are playing Americans. I'm sure the Brits would love Americans playing Brits, so realistic.

Since I didn't read the book, the movie didn't grab me as much as others here, but after reading the comments from the L-wingers, it's hard not to give this a 10 just to spite the whiney loons of our current know-it-all society. I'll give it a 6 for at least it wasn't boring. It could have been way better though.

A lot of people upset to see Hannity as news, now you know what it's like for us to constantly see CNN, or any other L propaganda news reporters in just about every movie that shows a news broadcast. L always whine about the 1 network that leans R for us while you ignore the all other networks that are heavily on your side, pretty pathetic that ALL the news must be biased towards your viewpoint & if they don't it should be banned, sounds like something Hitler would approve of.

The author is Russian, she should know more about how destructive Communism is, but the elites in America, because they learned under some pothead professor, they know more than someone who actually lived it. "We'll do better this time, our Communism will be superior." These are the same people who would have never left Britain to America because they love Govt control.

One reviewer stated 'the grand conspiracy within the halls of Govt & the ease with which public opinion is swayed is a bit much to swallow'. This was in 2011, 12 years later it's happening in real life so this person was naive to what our Govt will do. Maybe we all were back then, but after what we've seen the last few years, can anyone really trust our Govt?

Another reviewer from 2013 stated 'yes, we worry about fuel prices & about too much state control & interference but the assumption that this will happen within the next few years in the USA is most likely scaremongering'. Maybe it didn't happen in 2016 but it sure is now & it started w/Obama, the state would like to control our lives in every aspect, if it weren't for the backlash he gets on high gas prices, the turd in office would have us under European prices right now. Instead of trains, like the movie, it's electric vehicles. They want only rich people to be able to afford to travel & have freedom, the rest of us will be forced into cities & riding buses. Anyone who doesn't see this is a naive, college-educated idiot.

It reminds me of Sean Penn who glorified Venezuela's great new system under Hugo Chavez while the country went from a rich America-like country under capitalism & he turned into a third world country where people are eating their dogs. Sean Penn is hiding under his desk now, a naive scumbag, which unfortunately America is full of. He should have to live in Venezuela under the system he glorified.

Cold Blood (2019)

Hitman talks too much

As another hitman in this movie, Jean Reno should have saved us all the lecturing & whining from Charlie & just dispatched her as soon as he picked up the backpack & noticed it's weight. I hate when they make a character out to be such a fierce killer & they end up stupid in the end.

If she's a trained assassin, why crash your snowmobile & injure yourself? How do you go from not being able to move your leg 1 day, to walking the next? If you know the guy is a killer that you are trying to kill, why are you criticizing his book, a classic by the way, that she labels a man's book & war is not an art - typical sarcastic B characters we see all the time these days. He should have shot her just for that comment alone.

Dark skinned Jason Bourne is so efficient in finding the cabin but turns into Mary Poppins as soon as the guy leaves the cabin, such a PC joke that character was even added to the movie.

The main reason why these movies fail is because they have a bunch of foreigners trying to be Americans. Just make a European movie with subtitles, it would probably be a lot better that way. How would you like a movie in France but all the characters are American trying to act French? It just doesn't work, no matter how talented the actors are.

Typical of every action movie these days, used to be for M, now it's all about the F, they are everywhere in every scene, to achieve the PC they crave so much. Like when M get a group of just M, they have to invade & ruin it all, but they can still have the all F activities they like.

They've changed a barbarian series into a chick flick soap opera, it's really pathetic what Hollywood puts out & expects us to like. There is a reason why M don't watch soap operas, but Hollywood keeps spitting out duds like this, money must not be important anymore, it's all about following the leftist narrative.

I was just waiting for the devil character to morph into another F for the final fight scene, there just weren't enough.

Quest for Power part 4 was just as bad, when Barry Bostwick is wearing a dress & the Scorpion King is played by a Hallmark actor, you've really hit rock bottom.

The media constantly bashes us over the head with how tough it is for certain members in this country yet they are the only ones who somehow can afford spending $8.6 million for a house. Typical L storyline propping up that particular group while all the W people have issues with others, are drug addicts, in prison or just an eccentric weirdo. This is the complete opposite of reality.

This is what has become of Rob Reiner, instead of producing a quality movie it's all about an agenda in Hollywood now. It's also the only way he can get an acting part & he ruins that with his mop hair piece.

What appears like a rich neighborhood is like downtown Atlanta in demographics in this movie, so over the top & basically what Hallmark does in every movie.

Forced comedy as well as diversity does not make a successful movie, one day the boneheads in Hollywood will wake up & try to make money again with quality product, but right now it's not part of their mission.

Can we ever have a movie, with Europeans, where we don't get the line "America is an arrogant country" or any other negative reaction to America or Americans. And you wonder why your movies are never popular. Most are just boring as hell.

We understand you're a jealous group of people, at least the ones who make the movies, but can't you live your lives without bashing another country. If your country is so great, why spend so much time thinking about us.

Swedish cop says our police is shoot first & ask questions later. Where did you get that line, let me guess, from our corrupt media who help the criminals by making it seem like the cops are the problem. Typical brainwashing that you fell for, if that were true we'd have a big reduction in crime. The reason why crime is so rampant, only in our big cities by the way, is because cops can't do their job, constantly handcuffed by the leftists who control what they do. Every city in America with major crime is the result of having a weak leftist politician. And guess what most of Europe is full of, tons of leftists which is why you have no-go zones.

The result, constant crime because they get released early from prison or they only get a slap on the wrist even though they have a rap sheet a mile long. If they had a tougher penalty, more of these scumbags would think twice before committing more crime.

One accidental or staged incident creates a major outrage, but 20 murders a weekend nobody even notices. That's the problem in America, certain groups use a few police incidents & blame everything on them, ignoring their own complicity.

Don't worry Europe, with the rate of certain groups you've allowed into your countries, you won't have to worry about our crime & cop procedures anymore, it will be 10 times worse in Europe within 20 years.

Over acting by Marilu Henner, surprised to see a good actor like Omar Sharif in this dog.

She's learning a job that can get her killed via VCR from her dead dad but of course we're supposed to believe she is highly capable of this despite no experience. She repeatedly fails but everyone just ignores it & says great job.

Somehow she learns advanced horse skills without them showing how she learned it. If she didn't have a Bruce Lee driver, she would have died. Galloping on a horse on concrete & somehow goes faster than a vehicle, I'll buy that for a $1 in unrealistic BS Alex.

Hard to believe the propping up of F has been happening for so many years, even clear back in 1987. As of today, it's still going on in movies & M are the problem? It's just embarrassing what Hollywood will do to brainwash the naive.

It would be one thing if she were a nice person & everyone wanted to help, instead she's bossy & rude, yet everyone still loves her, give me a break. This is the script that Hallmark uses in almost every movie.

The Tillman Story (2010)

Too 1-sided for me

The Tillman family has every right to be angry but this documentary doesn't help their cause. They come across too angry & political, as if only a R administration would lie to them. The D would do the same, that's why it's called a uniparty, everyone in DC will sweep problems under the rug to protect the higher ups, it's been that way probably since it started. This is a big reason why we need the whole place cleaned out.

Do you remember Benghazi where the D lied about the whole thing started from a video? They lied to cover themselves because they didn't take action to help & this resulted in 4 deaths.

Look at Ukraine, there is no war going on over there, it's a joke to get trillions of dollars thrown into a black hole where it goes back into the politicians' pockets. The only war is the Ukraine elite are killing their own people. We are being lied to every day by our own Govt (examples - safe & effective, 6 feet distance & the legitimate elections) & we are supposed to be shocked by this story.

The only reason the family even know some details is because the media is corrupt & love to leak information that will hurt R administrations. If this was a D administration that memo would have never been revealed.

A better documentary would have been to hear from all sides, including those who may not have liked Tillman. It seemed like he was above doing things other soldiers were required to do & that kind of attitude will get people pissed off at you. If he didn't want to deal with that, he should have joined as an officer instead of enlisted.

Only Mine (2019 TV Movie)

That's 1 sharp rake

Based on a true story that they start off immediately with lies, it wasn't a cop that did that to her, it was a felon. Plus she was found by the cops after the guy told them where she was, she didn't get up & kill the guy.

Typical from Hollywood the last few years, constantly propping up W into mythical beasts. W get upset when they break their nails, yet we are to believe they can take two bullets, one to the head, & than hunt down the guy like they're an assassin. It's completely ridiculous & every movie where something like this happens it totally kills it.

One of her lines to a kid was everyone will believe the guy. In what world is she living in, M are being convicted in social media court before the truth even comes out these days.

The ending is so over the top lame, that has to be the sharpest rake & gun ever, it can rip right through clothing & the gun can stick right in the guy's chest.

The Hero (I) (2017)

Blah ending with no resolution really killed this to me, plus as 1 reviewer noted it was all about drugs & sex, really, for a 71 year old man. Hollywood really loves the older person sleeping with the younger person story but 36 year age difference is a bit over the top & unrealistic.

Similar vibes to the Jennifer Aniston movie Cake, just 2 depressing individuals who had a lot of success in life but they both dwell on the negative or act like losers. Both stars sleep with much younger people.

I would have preferred his one part acting out a script with his drug dealer friend to instead be for the part, he gets the part & has a resurgence of his career before he dies. I would have cut out the whole sleeping with a younger girl, lame PC comedians, trendy but stupid award scene where he gives away his award & drug scenes.

Hollywood also loves M bashing, we are always portrayed as horrible dad's & the kids always hate their dads. Of course, the mom's are perfect. W are portrayed as tough, independent & sleep around - you know just like men, I thought M were pigs, but I guess it's ok if W do this. Total hypocrites.

Cartel Land (2015)

Director's message is flawed

I see quite a few people are easily influenced by a 'powerful' documentary. These are manipulated to portray what the director is trying to achieve, believing everything shown is naive. There are obvious staged events, like the 2 people complaining about the vigilante group (quite a coincidence this only happens with the traitor Papa Surf speaking & he doesn't even attempt to prove the guy wrong, obvious bad acting in that scene).

Same thing goes with the news media today, too many people believe everything their told. Quite a bit are lies to fulfill the agenda from higher up, being truthful about everything no longer exists. If it did, why isn't there daily video footage of the 'horrible atrocities" in Ukraine but we saw a lot in Iraq? You won't see any because it's a money-laundering operation by our Govt trying to cover up something as usual & using the instance to get taxpayers dollars in the trillions, another reason why they love nonstop war. Ever wonder how politicians become multi-millionaires on a salary of $100k, this is how.

I would have given a higher rating if not for the fake scenes & the director's flawed message, making 2 people trying to fight back as the problem. That's pretty pathetic considering the problem is in the title of the documentary. It was well done for the most part besides these issues.

Notice the two previous reviews to mine are exactly the message the director is going for, we can't solve the problem so "Just give up & legalize drugs." That would have been a better title. One person claims the mass arrests have devastated communities, what a joke. The deaths have devastated communities, not the arrests. Have you heard of fentanyl?

It would take too long to describe my disagreement with this issue but just let it play out for the next 30 years with more & more people getting hooked on drugs. China is salivating at the thought of a weaker America believe me, big reason they are behind some of the drugs being made.

I think they also had the US perspective to make an example of how we, (the US taxpayers), shouldn't support anyone like Foley who cares about their country & is tired of the invasion, just let it happen & watch your country go down in flames & end up like MX. This is a veiled threat that our own Govt is also delivering, they want us to shut up & obey.

Sure, this problem on our border is not nearly as bad as what MX is dealing with but it's heading that way because too many look the other day & say it's not an issue. You go live on the border & see what it's like, this is no longer America because our Govt is also corrupt & not doing their job (just like MX).

In MX, complete states have been turned into no-go zones & what does the MX Govt do about it, nothing. A group of people tried to help & as usual they were portrayed as just as bad as the cartels, typical coming from Hollywood. Papa Smurf was a traitor to Mireles & he's glorified, while the good guy is portrayed as a womanizer so everything he tried to do is worthless now. Complete hit job on a guy who is now dead.

The US Govt is also part of the problem, war on drugs has been more like waving a hand at a pesky fly. Most of DC would have never built a wall & were happy with the previous trade agreement where the US was getting screwed in many ways (too many trucks crossing the border, basically waved in & a certain percentage had drugs). Our so-called leaders in DC are too busy spending money in Ukraine.

Singapore is a major port & normally they would have a large drug problem because of it but they don't because they have extreme penalties for those who do drugs & even worse for the drug dealers. If our country was more strict on enforcement like them, you'd see a big change but that will probably never happen because we have too many weak people who want drugs legalized. I'm not talking short sentences for crimes, there should be long sentences & the death penalty for drug kingpins. If they knew that might happen, more people would think twice about dealing with drugs.

How to make a bad movie

Checklist for the modern day bad movie:

1. Filmed in 10 days.

2. It must contain as many Brits as possible, didn't know the Brits were so involved in American crime. Credibility is out the window in every movie like this.

3. F in M roles with bad acting, unable to fight correctly and/or shoot a gun properly. F in a criminal group, laughable & they just took a role away from a M.

4. F with bad lip jobs (M would rather you have flat lips that look like a hoover vacuum, stop with the incessant 'enhancements' that don't improve your look at all).

5. Bruce Willis money grab - just put your name on a movie, barely be in the movie but get views because of it, collect a check, next.

6. PC criminal group to fill a quota (some of the worst acting known to man because of it).

7. Idiotic decisions by almost every character, even so-called cops.

If you want to know why this movie is a disaster just look at the cast & crew, all foreigners for the most part playing in an American movie franchise. I don't know what's happened to Hollywood, purchased by the UK?, as it appears they have stopped giving any parts to Americans, it's foreigners in almost every major role. The horrible CGI brought to you by India.

10+ Brits, including the 2 main characters, representing Americans, give me a break. Also, is anyone else sick of the constant W/B relationships in everything, almost every commercial, tons of Hallmark movies & quite a few movies.

It's so in your face that I'm convinced it's coming from our own Govt, forced propaganda to piss off the group they are trying to blame everything in America for.

The Legend of Awesomest Maximus (2011)

Earth to the World, comedy is making fun of people

As 1 reviewer noted, comedy is dead today because of PC sheep running our media, institutions & Govt. We've let angry F who can't get a M & people who aren't happy with their lot in life dictate how our society is run. We need to give them the bird & keep making good comedies.

The best comedy is telling the truth about everybody with no limits, but too many people today are overly sensitive & you can't be harmful to those wimpy humans. You see it in shows like the Bachelor, where everyone is saying 'my person' instead of my F/M, that is so pathetic that 99.8% of the country has to change their speech because of 0.2%.

Is this the best movie ever, no, but it's hilarious at times & that's even with the bulk of the humor being mostly G humor. A slightly funnier movie for NL is Repli-Kate, worth watching IMO.

Repli-Kate (2002)

Funnier than I expected

If you've watched some other NL movies they are usually some of the worst made like Another Dirty Movie, that was horrible & so bad it makes this movie quite good in comparison.

It's not as good as Airplane but it has it's moments that are hilarious, this kind of humor is more for M though but F who aren't so uptight may enjoy it.

Ali Landry is not a great actress but she did better in this movie than a lot of big name actresses have done in some movies in their careers. I'm sure she wasn't given more roles in movies because she was too perfect in men's eyes but we'll never know, maybe she wasn't willing to give them what they wanted on the casting couch.

For the 1 reviewer who had to point out this was really a slam on M, showing them how horrible it is for F to date M who act like this. This may be true if all M were over the top bad like they portrayed in the M version of Ali, but even the 2 creators were sensitive M who aren't even close to that character, so not all M act like this. It's usually the dumb jock who acts like that, not nerd guys working in science.

Besides, it's F who date those guys & ALWAYS pick the bad boys over the good guys (because of looks or money), which is why nice guys always finish last. That's reality, so F have created this not M. If all F around the world would only date the average looking to nerd guys, the nice ones, all of the bad boys would change overnight because they'd find out their personality is not winning over the F.

You could even reverse the story & you'd have the same results. How many F would be able to handle another drama queen F for the rest of their lives? Maybe the L but the other F would be ready to go back to M after a few months.

Typical Hollywood when they show the politics the D are always the good people & those R are corrupt as hell. It's so pathetic because the D are more corrupt than the R will ever be but it's all covered up by the corrupt media with stories like this, brainwash the naive at all times.

Sure both parties are a stain on milking the taxpayers dry but it's the D who when in power will take away your career (keeping states shutdown & they wanted this for years), take away your church (arresting pastors), jack up taxes (gas prices), manipulate the markets to become billionaires (see Skeletor) & don't want you having fun like going to the beach, park or skateboard park. It wasn't R doing that other than a few who are posers.

They want us trapped in cities, with no cars & unable to travel unless approved by the state. The rest of the land will be owned by Bill Gates, China or the Govt to destroy because we won't know any better.

They did however allow big business to stay in business & if you wanted to drink & gamble, have at it as we need as many people as possible supported by the Govt.

It's funny when they make both the C-ia & F-bi with corrupt members as that is always going to be based on reality after what we've seen the last few years.

To the 1 reviewer who says the British guy is the bad guy, I guess you failed to notice Gere went rogue killing people for revenge & Grace was a double agent for Russia, that's 2 bad Americans. Also, if you've ever watched Scott Adkins, a Brit, he is in a ton of movies playing a corrupt American or he's bashing Americans. Plus how many movies are Brits in where they are playing Americans, it's so pathetic in Hollywood that they won't even hire American actors anymore, & it has nothing to do with talent.

The Handmaiden (2016)

Boring

Another movie that is 30 minutes too long, which seems to happen a lot these days. Highly overrated as it's extremely boring for 1.5 hours but this is overlooked by the crowd that loves gratuitous scenes or there are a bunch of paid shills.

You can make a movie with them falling in love and doing what they did without the graphic scenes, they don't even have scenes like that with a M/F. The reason this is allowed & celebrated today is because of the propaganda for a certain community this invokes.

It's the current trend of a lot of movies, celebrate the F/G in everything they do, even if pathetic & evil, & denigrate the non-G M at all times. Congratulations on your manipulation of society but for most real M today, we've lost all respect for those that shove this down our throat.

1. Know-it-all city F goes on a hike by herself & angry M character just happens along to help her, so ridiculous.

2. M character is always an obnoxious person, never nice, but he changes completely because no country F can hold a candle to that city F. Ex is usually an idiot, see the trend here.

3. Bashing American history from Canada, pretty pathetic if they look into their own history. Notice how they never mention all the W people that were killed, just sweep that under the rug.

4. Forced diversity in all scenes. All redheads in the world have appeared in these movies.

5. Certain people in important positions ALL the time (boss, dean, judge, head doctor).

6. You don't get to be a ranger in Yosemite as a 20 yr old, only the people who've been in 10+ years get that, but it doesn't fit the narrative for Hallmark. They constantly make mistakes like this in every movie.

This was horrible in so many ways but the best line in the movie was God's character saying, "My best invention was the 'va-jj' , but my worst invention was the 'blunt' that comes with it."

Other than a few good jokes & the human gas scene, this was horrible & not very funny. I've found that most movies are funnier when you see them when they come out, watching much later really kills the humor (times change & what was funny maybe at that time just doesn't work anymore).

The nonstop movies with A where they are all on the good side, with all the W/B on the bad side is really old & lame. I guess this plays in A countries as they've all been brainwashed into thinking we are the enemy, but it's pathetic this is what they do in almost every movie. Maybe it's just the C influence with money.

Why not have some good W/B characters working with you to defeat the same enemy instead of the nonstop propaganda?

The way F always survive while 20+ M around them die is so unrealistic it kills any movie where this happens, sadly this happens a lot. I guess the directors are under some obligation to make sure a F is at the end so the story can please the F audience.
