Man vs Bee (2022)
Nice but not excellent
Man vs Bee is pleasant to watch but it won't be a memorable series, like Mr Bean was ages ago. The jokes are predictable and not very original. Basically this is all about an alternative version of mr Bean and I think that doesn't work anymore as good as it did in the past
Fortunately the series is cut into very short episodes, so for a short watch during a break this is entertaining enough and will give you a little smile.
The Umbrella Academy: Meet the Family (2022)
Nice opening
The first and other episodes delivered exactly what you can expect from the Umbrella academy. Chaos, fun and unexpected plot twists. Klaus just steals the show, agian, in my humble opinion. Maybe the third series are a little bit too crowded with story lines and characters
Nevertheless there is nothing wrong with the series although the main story line starts to get a little bit too predictable. But there is still a lot to enjoy.
Interceptor (2022)
Why was this movie made?
Extremely predictable movie, staggering bad acting, a script which isn't worth the paper it is written on. I wonder, who on earth decided to spend a single dollar on such a movie.
However I think it is quite an achievement to do everything wrong which can be done wrong in making a movie. Netflix shot itself in the foot with this type of garbage.
Stranger Things: Chapter One: The Hellfire Club (2022)
Not the best episode...but it gets better
To be honest I was very disappointed by the first episode of this new series. It was too long and too boring. Apart from two action sequences, most of this episode looked like an ordinary american high school film from the eighties, with too many characters in it. Therefor I nearly decided to skip this series although I was a fan of the previous series.
But......
The next episodes rapidly get better, much and much better. And during the story the problem of the huge number of characters is solved in a natural way (guess how). So struggle yourself through the first episode. The rest of the series is worth it. Really!
