Ghost Crew (2022)
Great Independent Horror 💀
Ghost Crew is true independent horror at it's finest! A great achievement from Hex Studios. Not for just for the suspense and that makes your neck hair stand and making sure you've worn the brown pants, but the mystery and terror behind what lies ahead as the team and an amnesiac woman (played by the amazing Megan Tremethick) investigate a gruesome murder that haunts the very core of their persistent curiosity. I was brought to tears with Sandy's story, and had a few laughs with Tom and Michael, great performances. All in all, I rate it10 out of 10! It's a true independent horror achievement! 👏
The Vance Institute (2023)
A Soul-stirring, Psychological Thrill Ride!!!
My first impression was of a self-improvement psychological horror story with demented tasks given to our protagonists, but how "first impressions" can be so simplified. No, there was alot more to this movie than just "survival of the fittest". It was who had the most willpower and awareness of knowing what to face that was holding them back from becoming the person they're meant to be, or to chose death as an escape, but in Tobin's case, it was who would be the next acolyte in his game of "results". I honestly felt my heartstrings pulled with each of their traumatic conflicts they've brought with them to these challenges, and that embracing your pain can become a strength in your life. All and all it was a suspenseful ride of horrific twists, and turns that made you wonder what was gonna happen next.

Pure Independent Filmmaking Magic!
Hex Studios has done it again! After watching most of Hex Studio's filmography, they continue to impress through the genre of medieval history/lore, psychological horror, gothic horror, and suspense. Now with this "fantasy/action" movie, it seems like a new step in Hex Studio's filmmaking journey.
