Zatima (2022)
Predictable
These scenes drag on for waaaayyyy too long and the one and only story line is spoon predictable. Then there's too much of immature stripper mess, with Zac always getting in trouble constantly. That story line is tired and really needs to come to an end. This is not what I was hoping for for Zac and Fatima. It would be nice to see grown Afr Ame couple with mature story lines for once. Help set a good example for the AA community, and stop with the improper immature ratchetness. Then, there's the friends who are all sus and shady. The whole show is disappointing to me. I had high hopes for this show, but the standards are very low here.
Sistas (2019)
Entertaining
While I enjoy a Madea movie, I particularly don't care for TP's sitcoms. Sistas, I have to say, is entertaining to me. It's not a star studded cast which explains the not-so-great acting skills, which attributes to TP giving new actors a chance to do their thing. The story lines are pretty good, and at times relatable. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, perhaps because I don't take these shows do seriously. I don't have much time to watch tv so I'm selective as to what I watch. I found this show to be entertaining.
I left out a couple of stars due to acting skills not up to par (don't want to say poor), but I do see chemistry between each character.
And Just Like That... (2021)
Trash
I loved the previous SATC series, I was totally addicted, but this new series is clearly all about pushing the new world sexuality & binary sex agenda that has become tiring and honestly mind-blowing boring. Too bad they're feeding into that garbage. I don't get the same chemistry as before between the main characters. I tried to give it a chance and watched 4 episodes, but I can't make it through the rest. I'm done!
