Izakaya Bottakuri (2018)
simple and warm
I have watched a lot of food related Japanese dramas and films, I do enjoy most of them while I find some of them a bit superficial, but this falls more to former if you take a closer look. It's normal to find exaggerated acting in such shows but the overall acting here is natural and the topics are very simple. I saw some certain misogynistic people in reviews complaining about the lack of skin exposure, like how can you be so rude. The focus of this drama is to focus on the food and FL's attitude towards cooking along with her customers. If you wanna see such, just go watch something else that suits you.
Kai duan (2022)
Well-made, well-done
The plot is intriguing and something that makes you keep looking forward to what's next. Even though the pacing somewhat got slower in the later episodes, it was still engaging and overall a good show to watch. I personally love the cinematography too, it was well made. Kudos to the cast.
Yumieui Sepodeul (2021)
sweet and creative
I enjoyed this quite a lot. I have never seen anything like this before so that could also be the reason. I love how light hearted and cute it is. The cast did it well.
Le Vrai Où (2020)
bittersweet love
The power this barely 8-9 mins short film has on me, I love the aesthetics and the acting. Zhou Xun looks stunning and Yibo looks like a cute naive boy in love. I keep re-watching this time to time.
Pei Ni Dao Shi Jie Zhi Dian (2019)
lovely and light hearted
Okay, I first cringed at the idea of esports drama but this is super adorable. After getting through first 6 episodes (which like totally acceptable for most of the cdramas), I become so invested in this.
