Alex and some shocking blunt conversations. This is a climb inside a man's interior as well as a climb up a rock face. The climbing is really interesting. Following him up a mountain is not for the faint of heart.

Another striking example is that the robots have apparently learned a lot of standard opening lines. We see these used sometimes at the wrong place at the wrong time. Like Check's companion saying that Chuck seems to be good in bed, a sentence as misplaced as can be.

. My personal issue is that bratty little boys are my kryptonite. I find them annoying and Stevie is solidly in the range. This movie does remind me of Kids except those kids are simply evil and I don't mind evil kids. They're not Stevie who the audience is supposed to root for. Ray's conversation with Stevie does salvage my appreciation of these kids'

My wife and I watched this movie on DVD from our public library. We enjoyed it, and while watching it I gave thanks that my 5 were teenagers before the era of smartphones and social media.

Chieves a rare first-hand access by thoroughly observing religious fundamentalism from up close & with an uncompromising lens. Although it focuses on jihadist fanaticism in Syria, the mechanics of it can be applied to any extremist movement out there, for the cycle of.

It could have done with more grit in places, really do appreciate that it was trying not to be heavy-handed or trying to offend with a quite heavy theme but they could have done more with it and given a little more depth to what there was. Not saying it wasn't there, quite the contrary, just wish there was more.

And gets the best out of them. It does a great service to the (movie) history of Spider-Man. But also showing us a different side of a Marvel hero ... a side that is vulnerable in a way we have not seen yet. Or not in that form - the identity crisis and the good.

He movie might be spoiling the fun for you, but again this is a very weird experience, even though it's way more coherent than what I witnessed with the Strangler. So if freaky and weird floats your boat, this is a movie for you. If you're more into conventional movies ... well this might not be something you want to watch.

That's probably true, but despite my being a conservative, I didn't mind this underlying tone. 2. The machismo, at time, is so over-the-top it's like watching a WWF wrestling match--which shouldn't be surprising due to Rowdy Roddy Piper (a pro-wrestler) playing the lead.

The audience is forced to wait and wait for a big talk between Rosemary and Anthony. Boy, is it big. It's humongous. It's over the top and outrageous. One wonders why they haven't had that kind of talk in.
Stay (2005)

The whole surreal effect is a bit slow. It's an interesting idea for a style but it doesn't have the needed tension. One could really dissect all the visual clues but the plot feels aimless. It does explain itself in the end but it feels like a cheat. The reveal isn't.
Les garçons sauvages (2017)

The Wild Boys is like a classic island adventure for adults. Dark and mysterious and abstract and a visual feast! It belongs up there with Holy Mountain, Daisies, Weekend or Fellini's Casanova.
