Barry: wow (2023)
What an amazing ending
This series was a journey, an exeprience, a joy, full of laughter, tears and more laughter.
My expectations on the ending was high, but man, this is amazing.
Fuches redemption with a Breaking Bad ending reference, an amazing conclusion to Hank's tragedy, Sally closing her dead dreams arc, Barry having a dignified penalty for his sins and that magestic social critizism of the gloryfication of assassins and the unexact biographic movies/series.
I know the series began in the 2016, but this feel ALMOST like it was planned to take on the Dahmer's series head.
Amazing, what a good ending, what a good series.
Thanks Bill Hader.
Black Adam (2022)
This is a Dr Fate Movie
The Doctor Fate is AMAZING here, the Pierce Brosman portrayal, the CGI of his special effects and attacks, and the moment when he does his signature pose is GODLIKE. As a fan of the character, I honestly never expected a portrayal as good as this. Dr Fate is by far the big check of this movie.
The storyline is nothing amazing, but it works. The movie tries to change the wasted and generic "honorable super hero" cliché. And some of the side characters are likeable (Being Atom my least favorite, he feels like a Marvel character at some points).
The villain has few to nothing relevance or developement, but he justifies himself with an amazing design, truly reliable to the comics.
Its a good movie, not at the level of masterpieces like Logan, The Suicide Squad (2021) or Inifity War (Obvioulsy) but its much better than any marvel movie from the last 4 years and a good twist to the super hero formula.
Maybe an 8/10 its a exaggerarion, but I enjoyied this movie a lot.
Also (Spoilers ahead) WE HAVE THE HENRY'S SUPERMAN BACK, LETS GO!
The Sopranos: Employee of the Month (2001)
The most shocking episode so far...
The rape scene is so disgusting, you fell the horrible act as the low scum it is.
This serious themes needs a direction this prodigious to be taken the way it should be taken, and this episode achieve it astronomically.
Im still shocked, i can feel my hands shaking and my theet crushing during the horrible act, and after that we have the amazing dream secuence, something this series is majestic about is always the dream secuences, and this is not the exception, all the metaphor we need is there, all the simbolism, and the realization of Melphy about what her dream was is the peak point of the episode.
I love the Sopranos.
PS: Sorry if my english is bad, im mexican but i need to wrote this.
Elvis (2022)
Trap?
I loved the movie, a lot.
This new concept of the contradictory narrator is amazing, the narration tells something completely oposite of what is in the screen and thats literal art.
I really want to give a 8 or even a 9... But the soundtrack have trap... literal modern garbage nightclub trap...
Why? Thats the biggest disrespect ive ever seen.
Better Call Saul: Saul Gone (2022)
The top of the quality in the story of the TV
This surpassed Breaking Bad by a LOT, this is a standart that we'll never see again in the television, the end of an era, the epitome of the art.
Thanks for everything Gilligan.
