I love fantasy. And, yes, I know it is hard to depict it in film. Easier, since the advent of CGI, though. The imagery in this is good. However, the acting comes off as contrived and way to much like a cartoon. The series gets one star for Rosamund Pike, who just does not belong here at all.

Then when Price's men came looking for Jimmy in Mexico and he had to run for miles to get back to his wife, I think it's very unlikely that anyone would walk such a far distance to get supplies, especially when he has a truck. I really loved Evangeline Lily here and the story was quite engaging,

He beginning cringed me very hard, in what world the neighbors and all of their children are laughing, dancing, playing, like they have nothing else to do and like life is so so awesome that you have to do this right. Yeah lol Also the army/police whatever was a bit too much modern for that time, it was weird and disjointed.

At least the acting and cinematography seemed good, and the Dolby Atmos mix was also very nice, but yeah, i didn't had chemistry with this one.

The thing about Daniel Craig's version of Bond is that it tells an origin story about how James Bond became 007, and they did this in a really serious manner that coincided with the success of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy that meshed up being real and being dark, but as Craig started to become more and more the Bond, we all know, the serious tone began to chip away a little. This was actually good for Craig because he got to show a lot more personality as his Bond movies moved on.
