Kimetsu no Yaiba: Bright Red Sword (2023)
The God-tier animation just gets better...
It's pretty ridiculous how Ufotable keeps outdoing themselves. We're not even half-way through the season yet and already get one of the best looking action sequences this series has ever had. The music, sound design of the blade slashes, and story beats during the fights sync together great in this episode and give us exactly what we want when we came to watch demon slayer.
Interesting to see how quickly Tokito is developing after a few short encounters with Tanjiro. I expect we'll see more of his backstory "unlock" as the fights progress.
Mitsuri's entrance was simple, but engaging. Really hope we see all 3 of our main characters styles used together at some point during the fights.
Boku no hîrô akademia: The Lovely Lady Nagant (2023)
Emotional and rewarding
I was not expecting the animation, storytelling, and music to be this good. We have been getting solid episodes but this just upped it to another level. Loving the increasing amount of moments where the animation budget looks like it goes 10x. Makes me feel like I am watching a movie rather than a weekly show. The music was a solid 9/10 for the right moments here too in this episode. And as an anime-only I am loving how we are seeing the progression of Deku's character and how being a hero isn't always black and white like how the show made it seem in the earlier seasons. Very satisfied with amount of effort put into this episode.

Extremely satisfying season ending
This ending is everything you hope it to be and more. The emotional beats hit perfect and the payoff from the beginning of the series is here. The cinematography is excellent. The OST God himself Sawano even premieres a new track that fits too perfectly with the pacing and story and leaves you really satisfied with how the episode ends. We need a season 2!!!!
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Never Give Up (2022)
GOAT-tier episode
Then animation. The soundtrack. The emotions. I want to cry. I have no idea how these episodes keep getting better, but I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone watching these.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Gathering (2022)
Movie-level epicness
The soundtracks and fight animations are out of this world. Movie-level quality with satisfying moments from most of the characters. We are truly getting spoiled as these episodes progress and Ufotable is flexing on everyone.
86 (2021)
If Attack on Titan and Code Geass had a baby, it would be 86
The story has plenty of mystery with the enemy, overarching political themes that add to the realism and depth, and lovable characters that make us want more. The OST is god-tier and it's no surprise because it's Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto who did the OST for things like AoT. And the animation is absolutely stellar. The action is quite literally a combo of AoT and Code Geass where our characters pilot tank mechas that swing around like ODM-gear. Yes there is CGI, but the blending of it almost gives demon slayer a run for its money.
If you're still on-edge of watching this anime, go watch the 2nd opening (minimal spoilers, 1st opening is okay) to get a feel. This show is a hidden gem right now within the community.
86: Even So (2021)
Beautiful OST. Epic Action. Amazing Story. You Are Missing Out If You Are Not Watching This Anime.
This anime deserves more love and this episode proves it. Astounding OST by composers everyone already loves (Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto) for their works like AOT. The animation and action was stellar. And the story just keeps getting better and adding more layers of mystery on the overarching threat of the Legion. Truly is a hidden gem right now within the community.
