Totally Killer (2023)

Movie to turn your brain off

The movie was great to turn off your brain and waste time. I didn't really get too invested but it was funny enough I guess

I would have rated it higher because it is quite a funny movie but the stupidity of most of the characters was at times really unbearable I get that it is supposed to be funny but at a certain point it is just too much.

Another thing that got annoying fast was the preachniness of the main character Like yeah we get it sexism bad etc. But can you please stop shoving it in our faces?

Don't get me wrong I am Gen Z and I also think these are important topics but the way it was written and handled was just plain bad.

The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself (2022)

Gets better over time

First and foremost i didn't read the book so I can only judge the series

After the first episode I almost gave up because it was really cliche and the characters were kind of infuriating but I'm glad I powered through because the show only gets better The main characters had good chemistry and become more and more likeable and relatable Their actions and emotions were understandable and fitting.

The romance felt really natural and not forced at all. Even the Poly undertone was amazingly developed and I enjoyed watching it especially because you sadly don't see it often in TV so it was a refreshing change

Sure the story had some massive Plotholes and was at times really predictable but it was still fun to watch and never too much that it took me out of the viewing experience especially because the visuals are nicely done with good visual effects.

The only problem I had with the show was one evil Character that was just too much of a charicature but all in all I really enjoyed the show and can only recommend it.

Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After (2022)

Strange but visually nice

The visuals of the series are really a delight to watch. It is very colorful and the animation wasn't bad and it added a nice touch so just for the visuals I had to give a high score The story was kind of weird thought and a lot of times I was confused if it is a childish series for kids or a series for adults I had to skip a lot to make it through but all in all it wasn't too bad Just weird and a little too dramatic and characters went back and forth a lot which became really confusing like do you love the other person or not?

But I'm not used to Spanish TV so maybe I just don't understand the way a spanish series is supposed to be...

Maya and the Three (2021)

Good concept bad sadly bad execution

I was really happy when I discovered this series because I saw a main Character who I could identify with and I've never seen a show like that when I was a child so I must say i really REALLY wanted to like this show and support it So lets open with the good parts The animation and Style are great and I loved it The Characters were likeable and they even had a little character growth over the episodes

Sadly i think the show doesn't really know what kind of target audience they want The show goes from grim and gorey to sappy and childish the pacing was all over the place and the emotions weren't really deeply explored and only where on the surface.

I watched until the 4th or 5th episode because I really wanted to like this show but I ended up quiting and just watching the end because I couldn't stand the poor storytelling anymore.
