Stunning
30 September 2022
I understand the bad reviews to a degree however I think the viewers are missing the point. It is extremely disturbing and not easy to watch. Some of the scenes are excessively graphic. That being said I think it was beautifully filmed and truly original. Naturally liberties were taken for shock value and they certainly paid off.

Ana de Armas was exquisite and should take home the Oscar. Her portrayal of Marilyn was spot on physically as well as capturing her mannerisms. It isn't a feel good story but Marilyn's life in general wasn't a happy one. Excellent film.

The supporting cast was superb as well. Especially Adrien Brody who is very convincing as Arthur Miller. He continually shows us just how far he can stretch his acting range.

Love the familiar faces
9 July 2022
Love this series and the characters never disappoint. Especially Suzie, aka Alex, who really deserves an Emmy for the season. Love the interaction with her and her secretary.

However...I am so pleased to see some familiar faces from Gilmore Girls!! Emily Gilmore, aka Kelly Bishop who was literally born to play that role and Michels Mom, what a treat ...I sincerely appreciate the inclusion of these beloved characters as well as Paris in previous episodes.

The "sit down " with the Matchmakers was priceless.. you guys are masters.

Jimmi Simpson shines
3 June 2022
I absolutely love this series and binge watch it whenever it is on.. when I hear of all the ridiculous shows they are remaking these days it amazes me that this one isn't at the top of the list. The cast is stellar as always and adding Jimmi Simpson just seals the deal. He has some great one liners thrown in at key moments..perfection..always a big fan of his.. hoping to see a reboot !!!

Warning: Spoilers
I am shocked that there are negative reviews for this episode. Like many of the other reviewers I was moved by Kendall's long walk down that corridor. You could just imagine the damage that Shiv's letter would cause and the desperation was written all over his face. I have always been a fan of Kendall's and yes, he is a flawed character however he was betrayed by his Father initially and has come a long way from his drug addiction and "absentee father" days. I believe he is misunderstood and has been put in a position where he had to strike out at his father. I love this show and it keeps going better and better. The entire cast is exceptional and the writing is superb. It is sad that these dysfunctional families exist however I believe there is more truth in the "stories" than we would like to believe. Maybe this is indicative of the Trump household ;)
