An Extremely good movie.

I saw the movie just the other day. I was having a bad day and took my wife to see this movie because it looked funny. By the end of the movie I was in a Really good mood. The fact that Jamie played a character that looked one way, but was basically raised to act another way became funny when people started trying to change him and he was true to himself... Also the fact that the black people who were trying to get him to "act like white people should" had to "act" black because they acted like stereotypical "white" people do...... The fact that it was a fish out of water story added to the plot too.. Because people that generally act like he does lives in a different place... i.e. the city, etc. And the fact that his actions lead other people to be true to their own feelings in the movie is the frosting on the cake...... Generally, I thought this was a great movie.

Very funny western. I can't believe it.

This is a great movie. Not quite as zany as Blazing Saddles, but well worth a watch. John Candy, in my opinion, is a great comic actor. The running gags and one liners are really funny. I am proud to say that I have it in my video library. Long live John Candy, a true comedian.
