Deadly Messages (1985 TV Movie)

Not bad not bad at all

The other day i was having some beers you know having a good time then the next night had a bad hangover so i thought i will watch a movie and a saw deadly messages in my TV book. It's about this woman who comes across a Ouija board in her apartment so her friend start using it and then the other woman comes back went up the fire ladder only to see her being murdered. The cops thinks she's going crazy about the deadly massage's from the Ouija board her boyfriend does not believe her so she goes out to find the truth about her past that she forgot. Anyway i wont spoil the rest of the film in case people not seen it yet. But overall it was a good TV film worth watching 6/10

28 Days Later (2002)

British saves the world again

I saw 28days later at the cinema then just watched it last night on DVD and this film is not a rip off from Resident Evil or any zombie films well i would not call 28days later a zombie film but more like a virus what wipe out the whole world and that British people are trying to survive from this virus called rage.

Really good horror film good acting from a unknown cast beside christapher he is a good actor good plot and best film from last year then the not so good films like spider-man austin powers 3 my big fat greak wedding.

Looks like the British will have to build the world again

The Matrix Reloaded (2003)

I was blown away with the special effects

The Matrix Reloaded has got to be the best film of 2003 and i take my hat off to the wachowski brothers and the speical effects was the best i have ever seen and can't wait to buy this film on DVD. There where some scene i did not like in the film the tribal dance and the sex scene to me they don't match in a si fi film but i do somehow still find the original matrix a little better it had a more of a story to it then the Matrix Reloaded. I just wonder something just now with the matrix about humans computers and robots fighting each other and in the next few months we have Terminator 3 just wonder if its a head to head clash who can make the most money?? what they did with Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings what do you people think Terminator or The Matrix what do you think is better.??? I am giving this film 8/10 and anyway i loved this film

Sleepy Hollow (1999)

3 words Dark gothic mystery

Sleepy Hollow is a enjoyable gothic film about a headless horseman who wakes from the dead who like to chop people's heads off and this man Johnny depp who been sent from new york to sleepy hollow to investegate these killings but some how it reminds me of Jack The Ripper. Its a good mystery gothic film up to where the windmill is and it went down hill abit for me and its a shame not to see christopher lee more in this film. I am going to give this film 8/10

Think everyone should go and watch this film

Grave Secrets: The Legacy of Hilltop Drive (1992 TV Movie)

Grave Secrets The Legacy Of Hilltop Drive is not a scary film with no depth not much of a story to it rubbish acting and i don't think much to this film. and one thing GHOST DON'T HAVE SHADOWS Just name some Haunted House films worth checking out Amityville horror 1979 Amityville 2 1982 The Haunted tv-film 1992 The Entity 1981

The Changeling (1980)

This is one spooky film

People say the Exorcist is the scariest film of all time well when i watched that film in the dark on my own i was not even scared one bit but when i watched The Changeling last night i was really scared and could not sleep very well. George C scott played very well in this film and the rest of the cast did there job well and i thought Amityville 2 was scary this is much more with high atmosphere. I must say if anyone comes across this film on tv or in a video shop this is a must see film for a spooky night.

Giving this film 10/10 EASY

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

I 1st watched Lord Of The Ring The Fellowship Of The Ring at the cinema but i thought northing much to the film but last night i watched it again on video and i did see the two towers at the cinema along with my brothers and i like it alot then i rewatched the fellowship and it fit those pieces in and i loved it and i can't wait for the return of the king. Not going to write about the film in case no one has watched it yet but sure are some good speical effect great cast peter jackson did a really good job except for one scene i did not like tell you why i think it was sean bean who took 3 bow arrows to kill him and still alive but in Mel Gibson Braveheart only took 1 bow arrow to kill a man so to me peter jackson made abit of a bulls up in that scene.

To me christopher lee was the best in the film playing saruman

Good fantasy film hard to decide between lord of the rings and harry potter but i am giving this film 9/10

Maniac Cop (1988)

two bad years of new york with 2 killers around matt cordell and jason

Good horror film with a great cast like tom atkins bruce cambell this film is about a Maniac Cop that is matt cordell who walks the street at nights killing innocent people for no reason and the blame is on bruce cambell for the murders. Tom atkins knows he is not the killer and trys and tracks down the real killer. don't want to spoil the film to anyone who has not seen it yet but this is a good horror action film but the death scene lacks abit.

I don't know what is it with new york in the late 80s but tell you why 1st we have maniac cop matt cordell killing in new york in 1988 then a year later we have jason takes on manhatten in 1989 thoes 2 years new york does not look a safe place lol with 2 big killers around lol.

Give this film 5/10 not a bad film

A Night to Remember (1958)

British are better making movies then american

A night to remember is a classic film about the Titanic on her voyage from southampton to new york till she struck an iceburg in the atlantic ocean badly damage and the unsinkable ship starts to sink slowly taking down about 1000 people with her. This is a 1958 british film with some good speical effects and its as good as it gets to know what really happens to the titanic then the james cameron romantic epic. Well really i like both james cameron titanic and A NIGHT TO REMEMBER but if your looking for a good story and seeing how the people dealt with the sinking then rent or buy A NIGHT TO REMEMBER but if you want a romantic film with the ship then rent titanic 1998. The british comes top and i am giving this film 7/10

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989)

3rd best film in the series i think

I really enjoyed Friday the 13th Jason Takes Manhatten and its the 3rd best in the series follow by jason X in 2nd and friday the 13th in number one slot. The film is about jason on a cruise ship starts killing just about everyone on borad really its just the same old thing northing much to say about any of the friday the 13th films but the same old story.

There are some funny scene like that black man who starts punching jason till he trieds out and jason with one punch his head comes off and into a rubbish bin that was so funny but i did not like the ending much.

You only see about 20% of the film in new york but well worth watching on friday or saturday night. Giving this film 7/10

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

I went to the video shop yesterday and rent 4 friday the 13th films and i watched this one last night knowing i have seen them all before when i was a young boy. Anyway all friday the 13th films are all the same young girls and boys geting choped in the woods or where ever but i have to say the death scene are really funny and laughing so hard. As far as i know this is a wreak film with b grade acting with a stupid ending and that man on the motorbike i was glad he was dead what a dumb idiot. I really should give this film 4/10 thats about right

Jeepers Creepers (2001)

worth watching

I was looking at the DVD case to Jeepers Creepers and it said something like the best horror film of the last 10 years well when i watched it i say not but i give Candyman the best horror film of the last 10 years.

There northing much in this film what has been done before like duel roadkill or if american joyride.

The film is about 2 people driving in the countryside on there way home when then upon a dark looking strange man with a lorry dumping something into this hole and then being spoted then the thing chase them with his dirty looking lorry. Don't want to spoil the film anymore but this film is worth watching on a boring night with northing to do.

People say this film got suspence i don't think so if you want suspence go and watch JOHN CARPENTER'S HALLOWEEN

Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)

Michael Myers is back one year after halloween 4 still trying to kill his family well i am a big fan on the halloween films beside i did not like H20 and the new one. Halloween 5 is a good film with some alright acting and does have its scary moments but michael mask looked bad. And also i liked tina in this film she did a good job along with the rest of the cast. giving this film 7/10

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001)

Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone is a great family film to watched on a sunday afternoon when having your lunch. I have never read any of the books and i only heard about harry potter when it came out at the cinema but i never did went but just watched it on DVD and its a really good film enjoyed alot. Great fantasy little bit better then lord of the rings and its really good to see full cast of fine BRITISH actors and not having to put up with american accent like in spider-man that was also RUBBISH. Little bit disappointed that not seeing any BRITISH FLAGS in the film like the american do glot there flag around in films. Loved the quiddish match its kinda like a football game but diffrent anyway this is an excellent film with good special effects.

Universal Soldier: The Return (1999)

My friend put UNIVERSAL SOLDIER THE RETURN on something to watched and having some drinks and by god this film was so boring silly stupid bad acting and should not watch this RUBBISH ever again.

And also will all the gun being fire and bombs blowing up just seem nobody had a single cut on there body or no blood on there skin this film is so silly.

Not wasting anymore time on this / give this film 0/10

Candyman (1992)

This has to be the most scariest film of the last 10 years Virginia madsen is helen who is a student who is doing a research about the candyman myth if he is real or not but ends up geting to involved into it that she and her friend say his name 5 times in the mirror and all hell breaks loose. The acting is good but not great also really good story to the film great cast and tony todd is really good as the candyman scary.

IT YOU LOVE THIS FILM TRY OUT PAPERHOUSE ANOTHER BERNARD ROSE FILM JUST AS GOOD AS THIS. GIVE THIS FILM 8/10 SHAME DON'T MAKE ANYMORE HORROR FILMS LIKE THIS

Clockwise (1986)

Better then a fish called wanda

Clockwise has got to be the most underrated film in movie history i watched it last night and i was laughing so hard till red in the face. John Cleese is Mr stimpson who has to leave for norwich to a teachers school conference but ends up geting on the wrong train and from there it gets bad to worse but i don't want to tell the whole film in case no one watched this film. Do love the telephone box when he is smashing it up but anyway thats about it for me. Clockwise is sure a classic and i thought its better then A Fish Called Wanda giving this film 10/10

My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002)

I find My Big Fat Greek Wedding a little boring not much going for it and it was not even funny its all been done before so there northing new and i can't understand why it made alot of money at the worldwide box office. I suppose the acting was alright but don't think its worth £3:25p to rent on video but this film is mainly for women.

My Kingdom (2001)

Good Gangster Film

This film is about gangster in the mean streets of Liverpool about the ups and down of the underworld and one man who was at the top became bottom after what the family did to him. There is some nice acting northing really bloody in the film but can't understand why its an 18 and over to watched this film but anyway it had a fine cast but really felt sorry for the little boy.

I did find Sexy Beast alot better then this but My Kingdom is worth watching and mostly BRITISH GANGSTER FILMS ARE ALOT BETTER THEN AMERICAN GANGSTER FILMS

Cube²: Hypercube (2002)

I saw CUBE and i really like it alot and it was something diffrent from other films but now we have CUBE 2 HYPERCUBE.

I was really looking forward to seeing this film and spend £3:25p and i was a little disappointed there was not much of a story little gore and the killing scene were not that good the acting was a little bad no wonder it never went to the cinema but straight to video but the speical effect was good and just hope they don't make cube 3

Freddy Krueger at his best

A Nightmare On Elm Street is a classic film and should be watched by everyone who is a horror buff. Well i watched it last night and loved it the film is about a demon killer who kills young men and women in there dreams but end up being killed in real life. I love the scene where tina is running from freddy and he chopped his finger and then the bedroom scene that was so cool. Heather Langenkamp did very well in her role as nancy who finds out in the end how to beat freddy krueger and like her trap she set up to hurt freddy. I thought it was funny that her friend who is played by jonny depp met his death when freddy pull him down in his bed and a rush off blood, how bloody can you get?? I give this film 9/10

Michael Myers is back in Halloween 4 The Return Of Michael Myers thank god been missing him alot after he was not in halloween 3 but i suppose that film was alright. Michael is now after Jamie Lloyd and anyone who stands in his way to wipe out his family and its also nice to see Dr Loomis back trying to stop evil on two legs hehehe. Also WOW look at that woman with big breast she is sexy and the killings are also good in the film. 7/10

The Thing (1982)

I can't understand why it flop at the cinema

I really loved this film so much The Thing is the best horror film that john carpenter has done along with Halloween and The Fog. Not going to say alot about the plot in case people have not seen the film yet but let me say this is just about the best horror paranoia film you can ever get in movie history. The special effect are so good it holds up todays speical effect even better and that was done in 1982. John Carpenter films today are not very good vampire and ghost of mars was rubbish and wish he goes back to his roots.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985)

A nightmare on elm street part 2 is a good sequel but i was little bit let down with not much gore in the film but anyway there was some very funny scene like the P:E teacher geting his bum slap with the towel i was laughing so hard it was funny. I liked Mr Krueger in this film he was pure evil so as the 1st film but later when you get to part 4 and 5 it just becomes a comady more then a horror film. I do agree with most people on here jesse's did a bad job at acting and so did the rest beside Mr Krueger only one who did a good job. Good sequel and some spooky moments and i give this film 7/10

Paperhouse (1988)

A nice little film

I would not call paperhouse a horror film but more like a PSYCHOLOGICAL FANTASY. This film is about a young schoolgirl who is drawing pictures of a house with a boy in it and she having dreams that are becoming real this is a really good PSYCHOLOGICAL film and somehow this film reminds of The Ring 2002 i mean the feeling to it has anyone notice it?? The acting was ok but not great had a good cast and thought the dad in the drawing was good and spooky abit. I am giving this film 9/10
