The Mandalorian: Chapter 17: The Apostate (2023)
Season 3, Episode 1
8/10
A short start
2 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So season 3 kicks off with with the consequences of the events occurring season 2, din djarin is now attempting to seek redemption after removing his helmet in season 2. Because of that he has sort of been exiled from the watch. Now he has to atone for what he has done by going to Mandalore and bathe in the Living Waters that are beneath the mines.

So this episode mostly revolves around the preparation for the journey to and across Mandalore, with Mando wanting IG-11 bot from Greef Karga or should I say High Magistrate Karga. Yes, he wants the same bot that was destroyed and wants to fix it with the remaining pieces that are intact. Why he wants the same bot, cuz he trusts this same bot after events that had occurred in the previous seasons and it's nice to Din slowly not hating robots.

But things go a bit wrong, as once he fixes IG-11 it goes back to it's original programming which was to terminate Grogu. So he has to shoot it in the end, and goes to a couple small alien mechanics to see if they can fix it, they said they can't unless din gets them the part they need to fix it. So of course Din agrees to it.

In between all of this, Din and Grogu have unnecessary clashes with pirates and there were a couple of cool battle sequences as well.

Din escapes unharmed and goes to a planet in the Mandalorian system, where he asks Bo- Katan for help to explore Mandalore, but we can see Bo-Katan clearly brooding over the loss of the dark sabre and hence she disagrees and also tells din because he has the dark sabre he can command any of the remaining Mandalorians. She also gives him the location of the Living Waters but tells him it's a waste of time going to Mandalore as it has been supposedly poisoned, but Din says he has to take the chance and hence leaves.

Overall id give this episode a 8/10. It's a solid start to the season but very short and hence some sequences felt a bit rushed. But the episode sets up the next episodes very well and eager to see what has actually happened to Mandalore.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part VI (2022)
Season 1, Episode 6
9/10
A good end to an above average show.
22 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I think this episode was done very well, with the lightsaber duel between Vader and Obi Wan. I somehow foresaw that they'd do the rebels "twilight of the apprentice" to Vader, and I loved every bit of it.

With Hayden's and the digitalized JEJ voice being blent into one another made my day. And this lightsaber duel, also settles why in ANH, obi wan calls him Darth. He sees that Anakin Skywalker was truly dead, and only Vader remained. So he leaves him yet again which I fully was not convinced that he should have done after their duel in Mustafar.

I guess id rather just enjoy at this point rather than make sense of it.

Obi wan tells a leia about her parents briefly which was a heartwarming scene.

Obi wan meets luke for the first time in this episode and greets him with the infamous "HELLO THERE".

My only problem in this episode was Reva. Her reasons to go after luke were not made clear... Was it just revenge against Anakin or something else? I mean it wouldn't achieve anything if she did kill him. Vader didn't even know he had a son at this point, so trying to cause an "emotional damage" to Vader would not work. And when she goes after him she is unable to kill him because she thinks she would become Vader and brings luke back to owen and beru..... So that was rendered completely moot. Redemption arc ruined.

It would have been better if she had just gone through with and in the knick of time obinwan would come and kill her, saving luke.

There is flawed writing throughout this season, a lot of missed opportunities especially when it comes to flash backs with Anakin and obi wan. Reva is yet another below average character created by Disney who's character arc is pointless.

But there were good things too. The child who portrayed leia was incredible. Leia is a very likable character in the show. The highlight was probably Vader. There were a lot of moments where his brutality was shown.

Agreed couple of things didn't make sense namely Vader letting obi wan go(perhaps he wanted obi wan to get his strength back so that next time they faced, it would be a real contest? I'll leave that to fan theories) and just stabbing reva, perhaps that was due to the grand inquisitor saying that it is better to leave reva in the "gutter" where they found her as a better punishment than death. I'm not sure.

But the majority of it was good.

We also get to see qui gonn jinn for a bit which was nice.

Now is a season 2 going to happen? Perhaps, and i reckon it would be easier to write it considering they may not have to worry about it bordering it's effect on the original trilogy to keep everything canon. Season 2 could be a fresh start.

Episode rating: 8.5/10 Series Rating: 7.7/10.

The Flash: The Man in the Yellow Tie (2022)
Season 8, Episode 18

Thawne once again back to save "The Flash"
17 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode had a massive hype around it. I can't say it lived up to it, but it was still pretty good.

Meena Dhawan ,being a new character on this show ,has brought some sort of fresh air. Flash is teaching her how to use her powers and run which I found nice. Its great to see Barry mentor another speedster. I always wanted to him to do this, I know in season 5 he was sort of teaching Nora but I can't really say it was mentoring.

Now meena is working on her artificial speed with Eobard Thawne(matt version) who doesn't remember that he's the reverse flash. And who is also in a relationship with meena. Barry is obviously shocked and believes Thawne is acting and thinks he escaped but runs back to lian yu to find Thawne (toms version) locked up there.

Thawne reveals to Barry about the origins of matts thawne and the speed force machine that is generating the speed force. The machine turns out to be the exact replica of what toms thawne built in the force to generate the NEGATIVE SPEED FORCE. So meena is actually using the negative speed force.. Cool twist.

Thawne also reveals that no matter which thawne in whatever timeline they always care about themselves. Now this statement is interesting because ,although the episode tells the contrary, I do believe matts RF is involved in his his own revenge endgame against Barry. This is just a small theory.

Now Barry rushes off to save meena thinking she is a danger to herself which she obviously is while using the negative speed force and accuses matts thawne of using meena. Meena gets pissed and uses the negative speed force and she becomes like the RF we know. Hungry for speed and wants to defeat the flash.

She and flash fight and thawne comes and saves the day by using love to get through to Meena (in a nutshell)and all are happy... Or is it?

Turns out evil deon is back and wants to free RF(Tom's) from his prison by giving him powers/speed to help his cause.

Now a lot of other things happened this episode. Like diggle coming back with his lantern ring box(I don't know what it is actually called) and wants thawnes help to open it. Thawne agrees only on one condition that he could see what's inside.

Diggle however on opening the box rejects it's request for his family. *Sigh* Just when I thought it could get better. Anyway thawne is upset because he thought he could find a way out of this prison if he sees through the box.

Nothing much wrong with this episode, except some dialogue kind of being on the cringe side where thawne tells Meena that he is her lightning rod. I understand where it is coming from but it's still a bit cringe.

Cecil gets a new power up, but it barely makes sense and it's wierd. The actor's acting has become insanely cringe and bad. I really wish the character exits the show or at least becomes a recurring character rather than a regular one. Same problem with Allegra.

And one more problem is with some flashbacks. We DO NOT need to see things that happened literally few minutes back.

This episode does well to show the "human" side of thawne that he is capable of love. Matt's acting was great. Tom's as well. I'm interested to see what happens next. I still think Matt's RF has a bigger agenda because I know that whatever Tom's RF said about all the Eobard Thawnes being selfish in all timelines is true. 2 more episodes remaining and I hope the writers don't screw it up.

Overall: 8/10.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part III (2022)
Season 1, Episode 3
9/10
"Fail me and you'll not live to regret it". Only one person could have said that line.....
1 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This was a great episode. We finally see Vader and he is brutal as ever. Obi Wan has clearly lost his touch and is very disconnected with the force.

After mustafar 10 years ago, Obi Wan has lost hope, he doesn't believe that there is much good in people these days and it is very understandable. Obi wan is rattled learning his former apprentice is alive and also has a hallucination of Anakin in a distance (first appearance of Hayden in his true form).

Obi wan and leia have engaging conversations. Leia is a whole hearted child and always believes that there is good in people as a child should.

Obi wan also reveals some aspects about his origins such as his parents and also mentions he may have had a brother...? Not much was told but enough to make it intriguing. We also see "uncivilized kenobi" holding a blaster and shooting stormtroopers.

But the main gem of this episode was Vader. He is hell bent on getting revenge on obi wan, but not by a simple kill, he wants to spook him and make him feel all the pain Vader felt on Mustafar. Obi wan escapes with the help of a friend but is badly injured.

One thing that caught my eye was the brutality of Vader in this episode. Just before facing against obi wan we see him committing some terrible acts without much commotion and that's the part which set the tone. This is how Vader is should be portrayed.

But when obi wan escaped, I was a bit concerned with the plot armor involved in it. But ,nevertheless, it doesn't ruin the episode.

Overall:9/10

Can't wait to see what happens next week!

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part I (2022)
Season 1, Episode 1

Not an explosive Star Wars, which we all always expect, but its a good one.
27 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
We see obi wan recuperating with events that occurred in episode 3 such as order 66 and death of his apprentice and brother Anakin Skywalker(obi wan doesn't know he survived at this point I guess).

Obi wan is not the man or warrior he was. His main goal is to watch over luke and he doesn't want to risk being caught by inquisitors.

Leia is kidnapped and bail oragana persuades obi wan with great difficulty to help him rescue Leia. And so obi wan sets on this path.

A good episode which kicks of the series in decent manner. More than anything, just like everyone else, I just want to see Vader.

And I wonder how things with reva is gonna progress? She seems to know Leia is Anakin's daughter, I do not know how but I hope it will be explained.

Overall:8/10.

It's alright, but same old problems
26 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode ain't that bad but suffers from a bit of repetition of plots done before.

Barry starts aging rapidly due to some energy wave, joe has a tough time moving forward with his life and has difficulties to adjust with new things in his life as pointed out by, David Singh, making his first appearance on the show since S6 i guess.

Both those parts are resolved. The former being resolved by science(which i haven't understood since s6) and speed, the latter by a pep talk which was not that bad actually.

Inconsistencies being that Barry, in the beginning, could have immediately stopped that mad scientist without getting blasted with that energy wave.

The moment Cecil talks or makes expressions, I feel like popping my eyes out. She has equalled Allegra in cringe levels.

The plot starts off nice but becomes less interesting as it moves on as it is the same thing that Barry has faced such as forgetting things by using more speed(Flashpoint) and afraid of losing everyone around him because he feels he doesn't have enough timetime to live (just before crisis).

Barry also finds out Caitlin is trying to revive frost and tries to convince her not to do it but is unable to and hence destroys Caitlin's lab. This is not gonna sit well with her.

Some good cgi effects were there.

Underwhelming episode just like the previous one. Eric Wallace is a low class showrunner and his writers probably can't write a proper 5 year old cartoon either.

Overall: 7/10

Next episode is mostly going to be about Allegra as per what Eric Wallace has said. Don't know his obsession with that character or with interlude episodes. I saw the promo and weirdly enough, Allegra wasn't even in it lol. Instead we got things which we always wanted to see, that is, lian yu and thawne.

But I'm sure that is going to be an average or bad episode as well. I probably have to see the next episode just because of thawne appearing otherwise had it been completely about Allegra I would have skipped it.

A great pilot. This episode keeps you on the edge and starts the story in an unusual way. A lawyer starts practicing law and vigilantism as well. Goes onto the story in a detective aspect and turns into action scenes which were done very well. Matt's childhood is made very intriguing.

Great start to a great show.

The Flash: Resurrection (2022)
Season 8, Episode 11
8/10
Better than last two ,but still not up to the mark
15 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is mainly focused on Caitlin which is not a bad thing. It's better than chuck or allegra or frost.

And this is the episode where Ronnie appears. He appear in flashbacks with Caitlin from the time he met to the time he proposed. It was nice to see Ronnie.

Regarding the black flame, yes it is Ronnie(sort of). And apparently wants to be saved from these flames, as everyone believes it is like hell for in those flames.

Barry and cecil believe that the black flame may not be the Ronnie they know, could be some evil guy. But Caitlin doesn't believe that and is adamant on saving her dead husband(as she should be). After a series of argument, Caitlin gets her way, and does end up saving Ronnie as we see Ronnie getting his physical form back.

The theme of this episode is about the resurrection of the dead/past. And it is shown that nothing good comes of it. Barry also gives some validation to the theme regarding the bad things that happened after Flashpoint which I thought was pretty nice when arguing with Caitlin. I think the theme fits this episode well, which had been lacking in the previous 2 episodes.

Back to the episode, now we see Ronnie stabilized in star labs with team flash apologizing to Caitlin about doubting her. Then some time later in the night, the twist happens, it turns out Ronnie isn't exactly Ronnie and he got what he wanted(the splicer thing which was used for firestorm)when Caitlin saved him. He says Ronnie is dead, and his death gave me life. And his villainous form comes out and says "I Am Deathstorm".

So the antagonist for this graphic novel is Deathstorm. I'll talk about Deathstorm in just a bit.

Now the iris part of the story.... So tinya gets mad as she thinks iris vapourised her mother and so uses her powers makes Iris go poof as well. LOL. Iris is transported to some other place mostly. Sue then tells barry of this incident and Barry is shocked. That's pretty much it.

This episode was pretty good honestly. It's not the best but still is not bad.

Overall:8/10.

The issues I have regarding this story as of now is that there is too much "talking" rather any action. When I mean action I don't literally mean fighting, I mean like doing things outside star labs with proper detective work. I just get the feeling that the writers are lazy to make Barry run around investigate properly and add more character to black flame in the previous 2 episodes.

Regarding iris, her story about the time sickness hasn't moved forward at all. We still don't know much about it apart from it making things go poof.

And this episode has been stuck with only 1 scene of iris which was her disappearing. The story for both the Deathstorm arc and this time sickness arc needs to go faster it is very very slow paced. Sure this episode picked things up, but its not enough.

Last episode, instead of really adding more depth to the black flame persona, it chose to go withwith the Snow family drama. The problem with the writers are that they do not know the priorities to give to the storylines of the episode. Even a rookie writer can recognize this. So that has to improve.

Now with Deathstorm, I hope they can show us his origins properly and can explain his goals with proper reasons. Now that he is tangible, it's high time we get some proper fighting, like with flash and maybe frost.

This may upset some fans but this story at this moment isn't a whole lot better than the forces story line AS OF YET. The pivotal point lies in the next 2 episode. The writers need to get their storyline priorities straight. And when they do, they need to pace it well.

The Flash: Reckless (2022)
Season 8, Episode 10
7/10
Disappointed. I expected much more. This episode shows why I want the show runner and writers to be replaced.
7 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It was more of Snow family drama rather than anything related to black flame. Although iris's time sickness is somewhat interesting here yet again.

Frost and Caitlins mother get involved and decide to set up a trap for the black flame using frost as bait. Barry is initially against this but eventually agrees. However, the trap fails and frost gets hurt.

Now I kind of wanted to see frost get burnt but nope, she is fine as always.

Caitlin gets involved and more family drama occurs but is solved and Caitlins mother also reveals she has cryogenic powers , then she and frost both become bait and try to again trap black flame in which they are, but Carla was about to get hurt so frost backs away and saves her and then the black flame disappears. So apparently frost has learned a lesson when it comes to acting reckless and putting hers and other lives at risk.

The focus shifts to iris in coast city. Apparently her sickness isn't a sickness perse according to deon. Things start disappearing wherever iris is around due to her so called sickness. But things get interesting when after they help tinya unite with her mother, iris's time sickness kicks in and makes tinya's mother go POOF.

LOL, that was literally like the worst thing that could have happened there.

Now the interesting part comes here, the black flame comes to Caitlin and starts saying some words which Ronnie had said to Caitlin before he died. Caitlin thinks this black flame is Ronnie.

The ending of the episode is the only thing driving me to watch the next episode.

Honestly, I didn't feel like this episode achieved anything much. The Snow family drama was alright until the halfway stage where it felt like it kept extending on and on, which made it annoying towards the end.

There was really not much progress made on the black flame storyline apart from the Ronnie thing which everyone expected.

The trapping of black flame didn't need one full episode at all. In the end he just escaped and felt like in the end nothing was achieved.

Although team flash doesn't believe so, they feel like they know how to trap the black flame and hence something good came off it.

But this thing didn't need an entire episode to figure it out.

I expected some action and some frost vs black flame but nope. Apparently this show lacks the cgi budget and quality of good writers.

Overall: 7.5/10 I have a bad feeling this graphic novel is going to be entirely about Caitlin and not at all about the flash. If Barry and Caitlin share this storyline, I'm totally fine with it. But this storyline seems to focus on everyone else but the flash. This was the problem with season 7 and Eric Wallace and the writers haven't learnt their lessons.

Many would disagree with me but I liked the last week's episode better as the black flame storyline was the base of it even if it was focused on chester.

Perhaps it's my fault for expecting something more.

Eric Wallace and his team of writers need to distance themselves from this show bad. Eric said that things would get intense at the middle of the season, guess what? Absolutely no intensity, I mean they aren't even willing to hurt any character, it's all a cakewalk. So all Eric Wallace says are just lies....

I'm praying that he and his writers would just get replaced at the end of this season (regardless of how this season turns out) and find some other show to ruin.

The Flash: Phantoms (2022)
Season 8, Episode 9
8/10
Good episode. And kicks of this graphic novel with suspense.
31 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was pretty good despite it being Chester emphasised. Yes, this episode was mostly about Chester, but don't let that disappoint you. Now this episode is divided into 2 parts, the phantom girl part and the black flame.

This fire meta or "black flame" continues its burning of victims. Team Flash capture a sample of the fire to study it, but it's unlike anything they've seen before. And this fire tries to attack Chester mentally.

It feeds on Chester's grief and personifies itself as Chester's dad and asks him to come with him. It uses Chester's guilt of not being too close to his father and asks him to come with him(upon which if Chester agrees, he gets burnt like the other victims),however Chester resists it with the help of allegra and cecil. And eventually drive it away.

Joe finds out that each of the black flames victims had suffered a loss, and along with cecil's telepathy powers ,team flash come to the conclusion that this meta needs to feed on the people's grief, anger, guilt etc. To survive and that the flames are actually the meta not some person who is trying to control it.

There wasn't much going on for phantom girl (tinya) here. Iris hears about some sort of ghost meta in coast city through Sue and so decides to tag along with sue to investigate this. The reason why she went to coast city was because she wanted a distraction from the time sickness problems shed been experiencing (ill talk about that later).

Tinya is a teenager in coast city who was left in foster care by her birth mother. She is searching for her mother now. She apparently had latent meta genes which had awakened due to some emotional distress about finding her mother (sounds a lot like x men).

Iris tracks her down and offers her help to which Tinya reluctantly agrees. That's pretty much it apart from the fact that tinya can walk through walls.

Regarding iris's time sickness, she talks to deon about what she has been experiencing and deon tries to find out what is exactly wrong with her and presumably where and how she got that time sickness. He comes back with the info at the end of the episode, but the episode ends on that and we have to wait and see what's up with that.

Since this episode was emphasised on Chester that means we got to see the most "loved" couple in action, Chuck and allegra. Now I'll be honest here, the scenes weren't that bad as they usually are. It's mostly about allegra comforting Chester when he is in distress especially up to the point where he thinks his father's ghost is haunting him(LOL).

But their romance still feels forced, so ig we just have to along with it for some time unfortunately.

The flash is kinda on the sidelines here, where he is zooming around trying to find the meta and trying to protect team flash. But it's fine, I mean Chester's storyline here was pretty good.

Overall good episode: 8.5/10. Can be rounded of to 9. Not much action, but storyline building is there which I guess does make up for it.

Theory : As to why this black flame attacked Chester, apart from the need to survive through feeding on grief and all, what if it's trying to break team flash down mentally one by one? Eric Wallace did say this villain was emotionally connected to team flash in an interview.

Next episode finds itself with frost doing something reckless to catch the black flame. What if the black flame tries to break Frost next episode? I think there is a huge possibility of that happening. And slowly it proceeds to break Barry in the later episodes which could prove to be intense as Barry has suffered a great deal of losses.

And the fact that we don't know who this villain exactly is, it makes this story more interesting. I do hope the upcoming episodes do become intense and make us feel that there is a lot at stake.

The Flash: The Fire Next Time (2022)
Season 8, Episode 8
9/10
Great episode with good depth
24 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
In the previous review, I said I had good vibes about this episode and I wasn't wrong.

Episode Summary in a nutshell: Basically Barry tries to clear Jac Birch, The Hotness, from a wrongly accused murder. The evidences all lead to Birch being the culprit. However Barry doesn't believe that due to the fact of the type of fire wounds on the victims and the fact that Birch was claiming/begging his innocence and the fact that he was looking after his son also contributes to the fact that Barry was having second thoughts, as this was the same exact thing that happened to him when his mother was murdered.

This leads to Barry believing in Birch when no one else did and eventually clears his name by forcing Chester to analyse the wounds of the victims showing this wasn't Birch who did this. Hence clears his name.

What this episode does so well is that it shines with its simplicity. No fancy things like time travel and all, just a normal criminal case. There's not much action in it either but it is made up Barry's emotional connection to the case. There are a couple of moments Barry uses his tornado hands which was cool.

Also The Hotness is redeemed after a horrid episode back in season 4. The episode really makes you feel sorry for him. His son looks at Birch as if he was some sort of a loser. Birch is also desperately trying to be a better dad for his son and loves him even though his son doesn't see it. But his son's perspective changes very quickly after he is proven innocent and also helps flash by saving the city(in a way). So I'm satisfied with The Hotness's role in this episode.

There is a subplot regarding allegra which is okay where instead of running the story of some media influencer she runs a story of a fellow inmate who was in prison with her on how she is struggling to cope up with life.

She is criticized by iris for not helping her colleague with that media influencer story, however iris does acknowledge allegra's story of her prison friend.

Allegra apologizes and tries to make amends with the colleague, but the colleague acts really cold with her and makes a big deal of it. I don't know why.

Honestly with Allegra, I think any story which doesn't have an awkward moment with Chuck is a win for the audience.

Now most importantly, this episode is a tribute to Henry Allen. This episode takes place on his birthday and hence this makes Barry feel as it is his duty to make sure Birch is proved innocent.

This case with Birch is almost like it's the way for Barry's redemption for not have freed his father from prison earlier. But who can blame him? He was up against thawne, and we all know you can't win an intelligence battle against him.

Nevertheless, after he does prove Birch's innocence, you can see a relief on his face and a flashback to Henry's release from prison. This meant a lot to Barry. Also Joe gives some of his "Joe Advice" to Barry when Barry starts to lose hope of being able to prove the innocence which was very touching.

In the end of the episode there is a small party where Barry and his family, all have drinks in Henry's name and talk about him. Barry tells how ,despite how busy his father was before he went to prison, it were the little things that mattered to Barry like a bedtime story told by his father to him which stuck in his heart.

All in all a great episode, there was a small inconsistency which I found, but I don't think that too important. Overall: 9/10

I saw the promo of the next episode "Phantoms". Team flash try to investigate the fire meta who framed Birch. Also I believe we will see Phantom girl in next week's episode. I don't know how that will tie in to the graphic novel. Also this new fire meta, I wonder who that could be, everyones, including me, thinking it's Ronnie.

I hope episodes become better and more consistent throughout. Story seems to be heading in an intriguing direction, I hope it remains so. Crossing my fingers that the writers won't ruin this graphic novel, although there is a high possibility they will.

Edit :How is episodes rating so bad? 7.7 really?!

I know everyone has their own opinion but this episode at least deserves an 8/10. Come on guys this episode isn't that bad, it just doesn't have anything mind blowing but quality is still good.

The Flash: Lockdown (2022)
Season 8, Episode 7
7/10
Got what I expected, and what I expected was not much.
17 March 2022
After seeing the promo and reading the synopsis, I knew this episode was going to be bad to average. And i was correct. There were some good aspects but there were more boring and cringy ones.

I liked the interactions between Barry and Kramer. It added character depth and perhaps adds an importance to upcoming episodes.

Goldface is a poor villain. All cringe, no sense.

I understand that the flash is trying to make the interlude episodes lighter and funnier, but this is absolutely pathetic. What is the point of these interlude episodes if they are not entertaining to watch. When there are problems in the main storylines ,such as pacing issues ,why make interlude episodes?

Clearly Eric Wallace hasn't learnt his lesson from last season and i wonder if he sees the ratings of the flash and reads the reviews which the audience give.

Back to the episode, and NOT coincidentally, back to the drama couples of Allegra and Chester, and Frost and Chill-lame. Like why are these 2 couples even a thing? It's just so..... Yuck. Frost has lost her meaning in the show. The name "Killer" has officially become a joke. Frost should be written out of the show, where she and chill-lame take off and live their lives in a non flash world.

Allegra and Chester are alright (not great) as individual characters if they work in their respective fields. But being a couple is thrash. I don't know why the writers are shipping them when the audience is literally crying that they are together. The couple should just end. I don't care how, even if it is illogical, it should just end.

I'm not deeply interested in Caitlin's dating story, but i have a feeling it's tied up to Ronnie returning, so looking forward to that.

Iris's time sickness is intriguing, with that time jump cliff hanger at the end. I hope they take this story in a positive direction.

Overall: very average episode- 7/10.

I'm excited to see next episode as it looks like it involves mainly Barry and CSI stuff. Also more development into Iris's time sickness is expected. I have good vibes about it but Eric Wallace can bring that crashing down just like the previous episode.

I said this in my previous review and I'll say it again until it becomes reality: Fire Eric Wallace. He's just a worn out showrunner who is all talk and doesn't execute his ideas to a good level. He makes the same mistake, season after season.

Warning: Spoilers
I know how other reviews have put 1 stars because there is no flash, but i thought everyone pretty much knew that 3 months ago.

About the episode, it's decent. Bart and Nora keep screwing the timeline more and more. We see origins of the Royal Flush Gang, but the dialogues are horribly written for them.

The Avery storyline.... I'm interested to see where it goes and how it impacts later in season. Avery is some sort of genius who is researching about time travel and all that. Bart and Nora take her help to keep the timeline correct. Interactions between Nora and Bart is pretty good.

Now the inconsistency I find here is that WHY do these speedsters from the future need help from Avery. Nora and Bart know more about time travel than anyone in that period of time(2013).

Even if they wanted help, they could have gone to thawne. I know that probably could have made things worse, but we know that thawne is careful with the timeline and knows how to operate it, plus he isn't a crazy maniac in 2013-14 like what we saw in Armageddon.

So that option was there but the writers decided that illogical plot armor was the solution. Overall: 7.5/10, can be rounded of to 8. I'm still hyped about rest of the season, although I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be let down a bit like with this episode.

Also, the CW has to make Eric Wallace and the current writers to step down after this season.

They have these brilliant ideas which absolutely hypes everyone up, but let us down with its execution. Creativity and Execution are needed by the showrunner, but Eric Wallace lacks the execution. What even happened to the darker storylines of the flash(season 1-3)?? They NEED DARKER STORYLINES, not some random fun stuff. How hard can it be to introduce a darker storyline?

I hope after this season, they do step down and a new fresh showrunner and writers are introduced. If season 9 is gonna be the last season, at least make that amazing with a new writers and showrunner that way we could have a proper closure!

Injustice (2021)

Dissapointing. (Minor spoilers)
21 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I expected it to be a bit different from comics and games but this was just terrible. There's no mourning for the deaths of some heroes. And how much did they pay the flash voice actor to have only 3 lines in the movie?

It started off in good fashion but just dropped from there. Ending was a disaster. Can't picture Batman kissing someone at the end of the movie, not like his character at all.

There were some good elements in the movie, like the birth of deathwing. Ras al ghuls role was surprising, it was good and bad. Him actually being the main villain was a good twist. But that's where it stops.

This story was mainly about superman as a tyrant originally. But the movie makes Superman a weak minded, easily manipulated, being which takes away all the traces of him being a tyrant and brings him the character of a "crazy puppet".

Overall: 5/10 Bottom line: Underwhelming, and a dissapointing film which does capture the audience's interest in some moments but quickly let's it go.

Don't give overall show ratings here just because of 1 episode.
17 January 2022
People are already calling this show garbage and what not just after watching 1 episode. Just give the show a chance and by the end of the season you can a fair verdict.

I watched the first episode, it's not all that great. Lots of cheesy things, but there was some bit of plot, hopefully it will carry on and become better as the show progresses.

IF YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR RATINGS OF THIS SHOW, GO TO THE EPISODE WHICH WAS AIRED ON IMDB AND GIVE YOUR RATINGS THERE. LOTS OF SHOWS GET CANCELLED OR CONTINUE IN A TERRIBLE MANNER DUE TO UNFAIR REVIEWS, SO GIVE FAIR REVIEWS.

Really? So much for brotherhood?

Warning: Spoilers
Honestly it's a little pathetic on how diggle wants to be Green Arrow. He's literally acting like an 8year old child who dreams of being a super hero. The episode is tense, I'm not going lie but it's all unnecessary.

This season has been more about Team Arrow fighting amongst themselves rather than the enemy.

Diggle does make a point of Oliver being stretched too thin but for his own benfit so that he can become the green arrow.

Honestly a problem that could be solved with a simple, meaningful, empathizable(not a word, I know) conversation has been made into a meaningless fist fight by striking each other's nerve.

It seems that Diggle wants to leave Team Arrow because of his lame differences with Oliver.

Average episode overall.

Great ending to a very underrated season.
1 January 2022
To be honest I don't know why this isn't 9/10. It's a great ending to an up and down season. Don't believe some of those 2/10 stars reviews, they have no real substance on exactly why they given their rating. Yes this season has been a been up and down, but it's better than season 4 and it's ending is much better than that of season 3. Any episode reverse flash is in always has a nice story.

I agree that cicada is a terrible full time villain for a season, this season would have been amazing if we had a much more evil villain. But it's a great end to a very underrated season. This season may not have been the season 1,2 level but it was still entertaining and emotional.

Just entertainment, barely any story
21 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Venom 2 is a weak successor to the first movie. It had a lot of comedy and action but sadly not much of a story. Acting was above average. The villains Shriek and Carnage were off by a huge margin. I expected them to be more sinister rather than a annoying romance.

Honestly I'm glad this movie was just 90 minutes. The story was all about revenge, and it wasn't any good revenge. Just a straight on revenge plot.

Carnage/Cletus was good but was denied a better plot. This was a pg 13 movie so i can understand why carnage wasn't as sinister as the comics and spider man cartoons had portrayed him to be. But at the same moment I wanted him to speak like a real psychotic man, like the joker from the dark Knight. Instead he just indulges in poetic talk.

Shriek is boring. Nothing much into her apart from being hopelessly in love with cletus. The way Carnage was born was just wierd. Biting eddie and turning into carnage was just a huge let down of what I had expected.

But one good thing that did come out of this story was Cletus's past. An abused boy turned into a serial killer was compelling but a bit weak. The writers should have emphasised on that. I also liked the fact that Cletus wanted eddie's friendship in a way.

But there was no character development in Eddie brock either which was a bit sad considering this story was about him.

All in all it's a mediocre movie to say at best.

The Flash: Armageddon, Part 5 (2021)
Season 8, Episode 5
8/10
Satisfying conclusion to an eventful storyline.
15 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Part 5 gets straight to point with the story that's been put forward...... To save Thawne or not from being erased from the timeline FOREVER. This episode feels like an elongation of this event really. Armageddon should have ended at part 4,but i guess the writers felt that Despero needs a proper ending.

It's entertaining for most of the episode. Great seeing Mia back. Barry is faced with the dilemma of whether to save thawne or not. During this time he thawne have a nice conversation and we get more details about thawne's origins which was pretty exciting.

Thawne and Caitlin interact with each other too, and thawne gets on Caitlin's nerves by telling her how she never moved on after Ronnie.

Despero threatens barry that he'll take matters into his own hands if barry doesn't kill team flash. Barry initially decides to kill thawne, but Joe talks sense into barry saying that he should save lives of everyone not just the good ones.

There is a lot of debate about what Joe said, but what Joe said was correct in my opinion. Sure he would kill thawne in a heartbeat but the weight of this decision would fall on barry and it would not have a good effect on him.

Despero puts Mia queen in a psychic transe to make sure that team flash can't save thawne within the certain time before he becomes non existent while fighting flash.

Barry gets the golden boots and they play a part in beating despero. Barry then saves thawnes life but at the cost of his speed. Thawne is obviously not happy that he lost his connection to the negative speed force and is now locked up in argus. But it's not the end for him, I'm sure of it.

This all happened within 35 minutes, so it was a bit rushed and didn't slow down a bit so the intensity wasn't very high but nevertheless it was enough to feel like an ending.

In the last 7-8 minutes we get a nice small party from team flash celebrating their victory, one more Chester and allegra scene occurs and once again I didn't like it. But now that i think about it, cringe wasn't the reason I didn't like it, it was because chester and allegra don't fit at all as a couple and they just make things very awkward by not being able to talk to each other without being shy.

The episode ends on a small cliffhanger, with bart and nora appearing in a small photo taken in the year 2013-14 indicating a time travel problem. A good episode with a bit less intensity than the previous ones. Can't wait to see Eddie again in episode 6. I hope the writers use this hiatus to make their stories interesting with a proper conduct of direction.

Armageddon overall review: A nice eventful story ark which was needed, to spark the interest in viewers to look forward to seeing the show which was dying after a terrible season 7. While all the episodes were nice, there were a couple of plot holes and non logical things that happened with time travel. The scenes between chester and allegra were not at all important. In episode 4 they could have used the crossover superheroes better. All in all it was entertaining to say the least and hope the next part of the season is worth the wait.

Rating of Armageddon event: 8.5/10.

Why does Eric Wallace bring everything to love and all that nonsense..
9 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was good but a let down with the hype that was created last week. I enjoyed thawnes masterplan to hurt barry. The running around the globe was also cool. Barry causing Armageddon in order to save the world was good writing. But couldn't they have gone without making "love" as the theme of episode? You can understand Barry and iris..... As this episode revolves around them and thawne.

Allegra and chester is a big no no. Eric Wallace should have just abandoned the idea of them if most of the fans do not like them. Batwoman, sentinel don't have much roles to play apart from them talking about love and all. Damien darhks role is nice, but he doesn't have to talk about love. Yes he loves his daughter, so it's understandable but he doesn't have to give Barry advice about love by mentioning it. He could have put it in a bit of sinister way like an anti hero would do. But anyway I don't have too much problem with that.

The time travel logic is a bit all over the place. It failed to explain a few things. The writers could have explained it much better.

But nevertheless it was an entertaining episode, it could have been a 9/10 if chester and allegra things weren't the subplot of this episode.

I hope this love style of writing doesn't go on in the next graphic novel (although I'm pretty sure it will, Eric Wallace and his team of writers are in a love phase)

The Flash: Armageddon, Part 3 (2021)
Season 8, Episode 3
9/10
8.5/10 or an 8.6/10 really
1 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode began a bit slow mainly because of cecile. Her emotional reaction to Iris when iris wanted to investigate Joe's death was TOO much. I understand that it must be traumatizing and even more worse to be an empathy in this situation if you consider the fictional logic. But it's very irritating to see her crapping about her emotions on and on. I don't like cecile as a character in this show, so hence I might find her irritating, but those of you who have a positive or neutral view of her may not.

Anyway now to the good stuff... Barry initiated the injustice protocols(pretty cool) with black lightning. So Jefferson needs to take away Barry's powers as per the protocol. Most of Barry's speed are taken away. Meanwhile iris and allegra investigate joes death and iris takes Deon's help. They find out that Joe died due to some timeline changes. Cecile locates Barry in the Hall of justice and iris and deon arrive there. At the same time a Flash vs Black lightning brawl takes place which was epic. Despero also arrives and tries to kill Barry but Jefferson slows him down to make sure Barry runs into the future to see who really causes Armageddon when iris tells him about Joe.

And now the ending...... Those 3 minutes really shot these episodes rating from a 7 to an 8.5 for me. Barry finds thawne in 2031 at a party with a "twist" .Probably the biggest twist I have ever seen...... I won't spoil that, but despite most of this episode being on a bit of a mediocre side, I still have good expectations for the next episode because of that ending. Hopefully the next episode won't have the mediocre elements(like cecile)of this episode.

Season 8, Episode 2

Impressed
24 November 2021
The 2nd part begins from where the 1st part ended. Barry is again quite op in this episode. Things start to go bad for both Barry and The Flash as unfortunate events strikes team flash. Note that I'm separating his personal and superhero life. And Barry discovers a shocking news which drives him a bit crazy at the end. There is a brief fight with a quite powerful meta, which is pretty cool and yet again shows how flash is using his powers in the most powerful way since the beginning of this season. There were nice twists and turns through out the episode giving it an eerie atmosphere which I found lacking in the previous couple of seasons.

This episode lived up to it's hype in my opinion. Now this episode showed signs of how the flash was back in 2014 and 2015.

So far a good start, I hope the writers continue this and improve and write episodes with more enthusiasm. My ratings: 9.5/10. Iris's behavior was a bit wierd considering the "shocking news". I hope they address that issue and have a reason to explain it.

The Flash S8 01 review
18 November 2021
Now most people, including me, didn't expect much from this episode but the writers have proven otherwise today. This episode was pretty good, it was entertaining to see flash use his wide range of abilities rather than trying to convince villains that they could be good too. CGI for this episode was actually nice and despero looked really good. This episode kicks of the season as well as the mini crossover event with good fashion. I think it being flash centric has definitely piled an interest in me.

Pros: Excellent cgi and action phases Episode really makes the show about the flash Iris's story may be good this time around Despero was excellent and sounds like a villain who has potential. And his explanation of the reason of Armageddon is interesting.

Cons: Too much use of the phrase "level up" (Minor issue) Could have been more darker to provide that sort of eerie atmosphere in my opinion

Not too many cons for this episode, it's written and directed well. Not the perfect episode but it's a fresh start to the season and we all can hope that writing continues to get better.

Overall rating: 8.8/10.

Sins and Consequences
16 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This entire season has been about the sins of Oliver's past and consequences he is facing now. Adrian Chase is now implementing his final moves to destroy Oliver. And he struck a nerve in Oliver as he had captured Oliver's son William. In the flashback, kovar injects a drug into Oliver, by causing him psychological pain. The drug tries to take over Oliver mind making him think that he endangers others because of him and his sins.

But Oliver's consciousness of his father's sacrifice for him and if he died ,his sacrifice would not have meant a thing, eventually overpowers his feelings of guilt because of his sins. Then heads out of the prison to kill Kovar and his men. Meanwhile in the present Oliver takes help from Malcolm merlyn, nyssa and is apparently going to ask Slade Wilson for help to fight adrian chase and his army on Lian Yu.

Looks like the flashback and the present are coming to a full circle on Lian Yu. So this episode was a good arc of how things are going to conclude and the fact that it is happening on Lian Yu makes it more interesting.

So what will happen in the finale... Will Oliver kill Adrian only to prove Adrian is right? Or will Oliver find another way and what way will it be?

Refreshing start

Warning: Spoilers
After a poor ending to season 4, this episode taking a bit of a different storyline by making Oliver the mayor is quite refreshing. And at the ending, it was good to see a Archer type of villain. This is a good start to S5 hope it gets better from here.
