Very funny

I think the lack of a laugh track has thrown off some folks who've given this a low rating. It's funny and slightly over the top 🤣 The actors have great chemistry both romantic and comedic.

Love the it's actually set in Toronto with nods to things in the area. Looking forward to seeing where this story goes from here.

The Stand (2020–2021)

Read the book first to understand the series

Having re-read the book in the last 6 months I knew what was happening and had no trouble following the storyline.

However, if I hadn't read the book especially very recently, I would have been lost and not understood so many nuances of the story. Great book and story but really could've been revealed better.

Bottom line, read the book before watching the series and you'll understand and enjoy it much more.

Why all the haters?

No, it's not rocket science but it was an entertaining thrill ride with unexpected twists every episode. I love Katie Sackoff. I don't understand why it's gotten so much negatively. I've seen many far worse shows given much better rating. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope it's picked up for more seasons
