Fatal Attraction (2023)

Try to forget the movie when watchinf

The biggest mistake the series has made, is calling it the same name as the movie wand having the same character names. The storyline is not the same, and therefore it's not actually a remake. If you can watch the series, without having the movie in mind, it is much more enjoyable. It's not the best or the most thrilling series, you will ever watch but it is good and it is watchable.

I watched the first three episodes and thought what a load of rubbish - I won't be watching this again and yet every week I've come back and watched the next episode. So that says something.

I think this would've done much better, have they not positioned it as a remake of the 80s movie.

Wellmania (2023)

Not a fan of Celeste on Insta but LOVED this!

I've never really followed Celeste on Instagram, I don't really get the humour of impersonating other influences and models, and essentially taking the Mickey. However, I absolutely love wellmania! Yes, Liv, is a hard character to like, but by the end, you'll understand why she is the way she is. I thoroughly enjoyed the backdrop of Sydney, and the cast of other characters with their own back stories. Season one certainly sets up for season two and I really hope this isn't another show, that gets cancelled well before it should. I'd say, ignore the bad reviews and give it a go. I binged four episodes in one night and the last for the next day. Easy watching!

Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023)

Never watched Luther but loved the movie!

First up, I've never watched Luther. Always been on the list but haven't gotten around to it. I am so confused by the bad reviews - because if Luther fans think this is terrible the series must be amazing!

I loved the movie, it's fast paced, it's thrilling and me enthralled. I love a BBC / ITV crime drama so I hoped it would live up to it. I found the cinematography to be next level, the way it is shot really captivates, and the acting is brilliant.

Yes the story is far fetched but it's still a great watch and had me miss my mouth twice eating whilst watching because I was so caught up in the drama.

If you enjoy a British crime thriller/drama there is no reason not to watch this as you'll be sure to find it just has addictive viewing as I did.

Can we have a Line of Duty movie now?!

Mammals (2022)

Ignore the 1 star reviews!

There's a disturbing amount of one star reviews, and it makes me wonder if these reviewers have even watch the show or if they just hate James Corden.

I really enjoyed Mammals, it's not the best show but it's very watchable and there is no denying that James Corden can act. I am confused as to why it's classed as a "comedy drama" when there is very little - if any - comedy. Aside from perhaps the first episode I didn't laugh at all. The story is quite dark, and there's nothing funny about it.

The last episode is absolutely bonkers though, and I don't think it did the story justice. An easy watch, give it a go see what you think.

Virgin River (2019– )

Should have been one season

First season was enjoyable, a firm 7/10 but the second season was boring and I lost interest half way through. I haven't bothered with the third.

I've started watching Hart of Dixie and it seems Virgin River has taken a lot of it's ideas from this show - which is so much better!!

Modern Family (2009– )

It should have stopped at season 8.

The earlier series are worthy of a 10 - especially the first season - but it ran for too long and the laughs became further and further apart.

Santa Clarita Diet (2017–2019)

A great show premature cancelled.

There was so much scope with the story lines in this show. It's premature cancellation leaves it on a frustrating cliff hanger. Shame.

Good Girls (2018–2021)

It lost some momentum in season 4, but shouldn't have been cancelled!

Unbelievably disappointed that this won't have a proper closure with its sudden cancellation after season 4.

Yes seasons one and two are the best, but, it should have had a final season that tied up loose ends.

I describe this show as Desperate Housewives meets Orange is The New Black meets Breaking Bad. All great shows and together it makes for a really fun bingeworthy watch.

A Discovery of Witches (2018–2022)
