Fear and Loathing in Aspen (2021)
Eh
Could have been better. Just OK acting. Just OK writing. Just an OK movie all in all. And by the way the Johnny Depp is the only guy who can play Hunter S Thompson, this guys got balls for at least trying though.
Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard (2021)
So funny!
Honestly I did not expect this movie to be amazing but as it gone on i was just laughing my ass off, so over the top and so damn insane 😂, honestly thought of it as a action movie spoof on how cheesy and over the top action it was. But definitely would watch again, so funny.
Never Back Down (2008)
Not that bad
I had very low expectations, honestly I will prob never watch again but this film is just a karate kid but set in modern day, and the guy who plays James from twilight is just a fake Tyler durden.
Cruella (2021)
Very surprising! Way better than I though
Me and my dad decided to watch this at home because we thought it was gonna be another crappy girl power movie with a stupid story. By the end we were both shocked in how good it actually was, both Emma stone and Emma Thompson did fantastic jobs and the story was actually engaging, the music was incredible as well! It's The Devil Wears Prada + Joker = Cruella, with of course splash's of Disney all over it. 110% one of the best live action Disney movies if not the best. Would love a sequel or even a live action 101 Dalmatians with Emma Stone as Cruella again. Love the movie and would definitely watch again.
North Hollywood (2021)
Really hit home for me!
As a teenager today I could really empathize with Michaels struggles of friendship, love, and passion. I felt his pain and anxiety throughout the whole movie but at the same time could see both sides of the argument between his friends and family. Not only that but a lot of the things Micheal experienced I somewhat experienced myself, the troubles of having a girlfriend and a best friend at the same time, having your family want you to do something you didn't wanna do and drifting away from close friends. Near the end when Micheal and Adolf made up and hugged I teared up a bit because something exactly the same happened to me once but me and my past friend never made up so it really made me think of him and how we both should have changed and learned and grew together. I also could feel Michaels passion to be cool and hangout with pros and having a friend who is just a loser, again I went through the same thing. I could really tell that the people making this movie understood being a skater and being a teenager and how tough it is. I also thought that the actor was superb, Vince Vaughn and the lead cast did incredible in their roles and I could feel the tension while watching. The only critiques I really have are from a director stand point like how some of the scenes are a little misplaced or filmed funny. In all I loved this movie and have already watched it twice today. I recommend it to anyone who is or once was a skater in their teen years.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
DON'T LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS
If you truly are a fan and a member of the comic book/ superhero community. This movie will mean a lot to you . I understand the 4 hour run time annoyed some people but I think it was needed to really tell the full story. This movie was truly a masterpiece. The only negatives I have on this film are a few nit picky things that blow by me pretty easily. The use of slo mo could have been dialed down just a notch and maybe just the slow beginning. Other than that. It's in my top 5 superhero movies as of right now. I recommend it to anyone who's a true fan.
