Chilling

I may be a bit late to watching this movie but oh man did this movie really exceed my expectations. This movie has left me quite speechless and disturbed by the end. It was not an easy watch and some scenes were very intense. I can't recall feeling this kind of suspense the last time I've watched a movie. Absolutely incredible acting by Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. Some scenes felt so raw in emotion that you really feel what the characters are going through. I really don't want to give away the storyline but I will say it was a thought provoking mystery that left you feeling frustrated at times.

Side note, I was so into the movie that I didn't even realize it was over two hours long. Highly recommend!

What A Ride

I had no idea what to expect going into this movie. I am honestly surprised that this movie is currently rated at a 7.3 on imbd. This movie was awesome to say the least. I was highly entertained from beginning to end and found myself smiling and laughing throughout. The way all the storylines connected, all the hilarious twists and subplots, great action, funny characters, etc. I am really having a tough time finding anything negative to say about this movie. All the actors did a great job and the way the ending came together was gold. I know i am going to definitely going to rewatch this movie.

NEED A LEMON AND TANGERINE PREQUEL MOVIE.

Cute movie and if you're into romcoms you'll most likely enjoy this. I believe they did a good job with the casting in terms of physical appearance however I do feel like something was off about Joshua Templeman as far as how the actor portrayed this character. The movie makes Joshua Templeman seem kind of bland and he speaks like a robot. Also, the book does a much better job with the build up between Lucy and Josh whereas the chemistry build up in the movie felt a little bit rushed. Having said that, I still think it was a solid movie adaptation. It is a light hearted, feel good movie and I enjoyed it.

This movie was an absolute delight. Never thought I would be this entertained by a mystery movie. It tries to be dark but has a great blend of comedy, amusing characters, and an extremely satisfying ending that ties the story together perfectly. Highly recommend, I've watched it multiple times and always enjoy it.

Definitely Not Titanic

This movie felt a little draggy for my taste. I guess the deeper meaning behind it was that marriages aren't a field of flowers and more often than not, the people in them are unhappy. I hold Leo's movies to high standards and as always his acting was fantastic but he's def had better.

Another Day of Sun

I've watched La La Land a couple of years ago and still consider it one of my favorite films of all time. Whether you enjoy musicals or not, this movie is a masterpiece and feels like an experience. The vibrant colors & aesthetic, the scenes & editing, the music, etc. I still listen to the songs and rewatch certain scenes from time to time. My favorite thing about this movie is the ending scene. It's not your typical love story ending but it's real and leaves you with goosebumps. My only regret was not experiencing it in theaters. 10/10.

Watching a younger Leo killing his role as Frank Abagnale Jr was a delight. The movie kinda glosses over some unrealistic situations. I was completely unaware that this was based on a true story and was pleasantly surprised when finding that out. Not sure how the events played out in real life however the movie was very entertaining and captivating from start to finish. Loved watching the depiction of Frank and Hanratty's relationship. Great movie and highly recommend it.

As Real as a Donut

This movie was pure entertainment. It was a little longer than it had to be but the ending definitely made up for it. Gives you a great feel of vintage hollywood, a good amount of comedy, and fantastic acting by Leo and Brad. Everyone needs a friend as loyal as Cliff.

This is simply great TV. It is very different and has a unique take on corporate life and somewhat a dystopia as far as society being controlled by a higher power. It will get you hooked from the pilot - highly recommend this show.

Season 1 ends with one of the greatest cliffhangers I've seen in television in a while so I'm very excited to see how Season 2 plays out!!

I was skeptical to continue watching this show after finishing season 1 because I've read many reviews saying season 2 was not up to par with season 1. After finishing season 2, I must say I don't understand the hate on season 2. Both seasons were great. This show is a lot of fun with dark humor & action and has a refreshing take on superheroes, our superficial society, and even politics. Looking forward to season 3

Greatest Show of All Time
16 November 2020
I've watched many TV shows in my life and can confidently say that The Wire is by far the greatest show of all time. The complex dialogue, plot, structure, characters, and the portrayal of issues that show was trying to tackle are very relevant and simply unmatched. The Wire is like watching poetry that leaves viewers in deep thought and appreciation for all elements that make a great show. I have yet to watch another show that comes close to this masterpiece.
