Extraordinary Film!
29 July 2023
Fabulous, mindblowing, fantastic! Words are short to describe how beautiful this film is! What a unique story, simple yet so powerful! And all the actors have given their career best performances but here i must say, Manav Kaul steals the show! He is just simply phenomenal in this film! He gets into the character and he exactly looks like that character and we forget that he is Manav Kaul! He deserves to do more films and trust me, he can become the next big thing the film industry will see after greats like Irrfan Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi etc. Genelia, the young boy, Shakti Kapoor and also Gajraj Rao in that limited role, all of them were heartwarming! Guys dont go by the critic reviews. Just watch this film atleast once! Its a MASTERPIECE! Period!

Waste of time, money and resources

There is simply nothing new about this movie. We have already seen movies like this in past. Waste of time, no entertainment value at all. Too slow movie which gets boring after a while. Only decent performance was of Jitendra Joshi. He's a fantastic actor and he should think twice before taking up such atrocious movies. The hero and director have already given a movie before which was a disaster. Even that was a very slow movie. This one is also a disaster and this one is also a slow movie. I hope producers think twice before signing them. Audience want entertainment in theatre and not sleep.

FANTASTIC

What a beautiful film this is! A true gem from Pan Nalin. It is engaging, entertaining and educative! The whole style of telling this story is so unique. Performances of all the actors is simply fantastic. The relationship between the young boy and the film runner behind the projector is brilliant. Their bond is truly innocent and i love the relationship between father and son and how father recognises his son's talent and lets him go and explore his dreams is something really progressive which in rural conservative families is not possible. He noticed his son's talent and realised his mistakes is what mattered! Watch it on Netflix people. You'll are in for a treat!
