Fast X (2023)

It is a fantasy movie at this point

I give 5 only for Jason Momoa. The plot and the characters at this point doesn't make any sense at all. Dom is just a Superman, and never got a single stretch after car crashing?! And not to mention his cloth is always clean?! This just makes the plots unreal. How could you rationalize the killing of those people from agency? Are they all bad people? I almost feel all of this family need to go to jail at this point... it's pathetic that I feel I start to hate the leading actors after watching the movie. You could sell the family love and love between the father and the son, but sorry, I, as an audience, really don't feel this way. Such a bad movie. Hopefully it goes to streaming directly for the next one, not worth the big screen.

Not a bad drama

The quality is good in general. Feeling the real struggles in a normal life. Working so hard to make live easier, but at the same time, still trying to find the balance of the life and work. I give 7/10 for the plots in general. But I feel like the story should just end at ep9. The show should be at least 8/10 if without ep10... the storyline doesn't make sense in ep10. If my kid is kidnapped by this guy and I can't imagine as a mom, I would talk through common sense and share feelings with him... just so unrealistic and hard to watch. It just can't be reconciled so fast. Other than that, it's a good show in general.

The Wandering Earth II (2023)

A great movie

This one is better than the first movie, which is very rare these days. The story lines are great. Although there are some plots that do not make a lot sense, it doesn't affect the overall rating at all. It doesn't make me feel it's a 3hr movie at all. This is actually the best Si-Fi movie I have watched in the last 3 years (and I've watched a lot lol) and I think it's fair to say it's better than 70% of the Hollywood Si-Fi movies these days.

I'm looking forward to the third one now given there are some flash forward scenes hinting at the next story line. Also, don't miss the credits at the end. I left early and have to read up on the end credit scenes online afterwards.

The ending is very awesome!

I thought this is just another version of the squid game at first, either it's controlled by super rich people or some AI or VR things. I have to admit that some games/plots are a bit long, and some plots do not make sense... But when they finally gives the answer... everything does make sense. The ending is awesome!

The borderland between life and death... now it makes me think about what would happen when that day comes to me! Would I be in those games? How far will I go? Will my desire to live be stronger enough to make me go back to the real world? Amazing! Eventually it went back to "reality". I love the story!

The Dark Knight (2008)

My favourite movie so far

This is the only movie that I watched it over and over and still don't get bored. The music, the plots, and the acting are all great! It's not easy to turn a superhero movie to be a serious movie. But this one did a really good job! I like marvel movies too and there are a lot of fun jokes and CGI in them. However, I can't take them seriously, always feel like I'm watching a Sci-fi comedy.

Love, Death & Robots: Night of the Mini Dead (2022) Season 3, Episode 4

I love it

The best episode of the season in my opinion. I laughed from the beginning to the end. The concept is very unique, simple, and funny. Not like some other episodes, trying so hard to be something else, but if the audience don't get it, it's meaningless.

The first 2 episodes are not bad. However, lots of scenes just doesn't make sense in the rest of the episodes, especially the last one. Feel like it just want to end... kinda of speechless.

This show is way too trash. It should be called Bling Asian Trash. Those people can't represent any rich Asians, and don't think your husband will be the king if it's still Song Dynasty. It's just way too stupid. Please don't make more seasons.

The Battle at Lake Changjin (2021)

Surprised about those 1/10 and 10/10 reviews

For a war movie, it is not bad, at least have some plots. The sad truth is that there is no winner in this war, that's why it's dragged for three years and no one can claim to be the winner. But since it's a movie, not a documentary, I don't think we need to discuss the truth or fiction here. However, many reviews are anti-China, I highly doubt those people ever watched the actual movie.

Dune (2021)

A good movie

It's a good movie and made me want to read the books! It's difficult to tell a full and clear adapted story given the limited time of a movie, but this one almost did it!

Eternals (2021)

Average super hero movie

Within all the DC and Marvel movies, I would think this movie is average. I'm not saying it's not a good movie, but it's not outstanding, no big "wow". Some characters seem like not necessary to the main story line, maybe it's due to the cut. But more detailed back stories of each eternal would be good, otherwise, I can't feel the love they have to each other, and can't feel angry when they betrayed each other or sad when they die...

It's a good show

It's a good show in general, at least made me to binge watch it. I am surprised how many people liked the show since I can't even justify some of the violence and the kills. Although, some plots don't make much sense; I still finished all 3 seasons. At the end, I feel like I almost had a mixed feeling for Joe, I hate him but also like him.
