Byron Baes (2022)
No real "influencers", disgusting attitudes
There's nothing interesting about this show. From the beginning it all looks super fake, and almost a very poor attempt at replicating other shows including kuwkardashians.
Don't waste your time with this, and please don't make these stupid people famous on instagram.
Emily in Paris (2020)
Even the acting is not good
Everyone else has said all the issues with the cliche storyline of this show, but the acting is awfully bad. 90s romantic comedy movie bad. Very bad. You can sense how fake everyone's emotions are, especially Emily's. Their facial expressions and their dialogues absolutely does not make any sense.
Chad (2021)
Relatable for immigrants
As an immigrant, I can confirm that some scenes were relatable. Personally, I found the struggle with Muslims, and Chad and his family being "technically Muslims" but not believing in Islam were completely understandable due to the situation in Iran; however, I agree that a 40 year old portraying a teenage does not make sense and was not necessary.
The other issue with this series is that the story might be fun to watch for a teenage, but the unnecessarily crude language and the interactions between Chad and the adults makes it totally inappropriate for the young audience to watch.
