Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)
A Game-Changer That Left Me Speechless
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a cinematic masterpiece that exceeded all my expectations and changed my life forever. This film takes the concept of a superhero movie to unprecedented heights, blending breathtaking animation, a heartwarming story, and a diverse cast of characters that resonate on a deeply emotional level.
From the very first scene, I was captivated by the stunning visual style that brought the Spider-Verse to life in ways I never thought possible. The animation is a true work of art, seamlessly blending various styles and techniques, creating a vibrant and immersive experience that left me in awe.
But it's not just the visuals that make this movie exceptional; the story is equally compelling. It explores themes of identity, self-discovery, and the power of embracing one's uniqueness. Through the introduction of new Spider-characters and the continuation of beloved ones, the film effortlessly weaves together multiple narratives, leaving audiences inspired and deeply moved.
The voice cast delivers outstanding performances, breathing life into each character with a perfect balance of humor, depth, and relatability. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, and their journeys of growth and self-acceptance left me cheering for them every step of the way.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse goes beyond the traditional superhero genre, pushing boundaries and challenging conventions. It's a film that not only entertains but also leaves a lasting impact on its viewers. Its powerful message of embracing one's true self resonated with me on a personal level, reminding me of the strength and potential within each of us.
I cannot recommend this film enough. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a true game-changer, raising the bar for animated movies and storytelling as a whole. Prepare to be transported into a world of wonder, laughter, and inspiration. It changed my life, and I'm confident it will change yours too.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Almost as bad as Black Widow and Eternals
I cant take Elizabeth Olsen serious. Really bad decision on the cast there. Just honest.
Should've just sticked with Wanda Vision.
The whole movie had no real story, the super villain is just a actor that I personally cant take serious. That just ruins the movie for me.
The only reason it still has 6 stars is the quality of cinematic and audio and stuff. They really had much money for this one. Yet I must say that I saw some CGI that wasnt as on point as it was in every other Marvel production.
Also: there were some jokes that werent really my type of humor.
Overall a decent movie ruined by 1 bad casting choice (in my opinion).
Robots (2005)
Childhood Classic - Funny Feelgood movie
I couldn't remember much from this movie from the times I've watched this as a kid, which is why I've seen this mostly blind and I enjoyed it!
I don't know why this movie has only 6 stars... its a feelgood family comedy. My expectations were fulfilled, which is why this movie is already great.
This movie is a animation from 2005. If you compare the animation in this movie with the animated movies now in 2021, you have to admit that this is a masterpiece for its time!
Amor con fianza (2021)
I had fun watching! (Greetings from Germany)
Although I am pretty sure that the show is scripted and the lie detector test is a huge scam, I actually still enjoyed watching this.
It was kind of weird, because I am now realizing how easy it is for TV to force an opinion to viewers. Threw out the show, I switched which side I was on after every episode, because of new infos that were published.
Is this series the next big hit? No.
Is it enjoyable? I think so, yes. But only if you are the type for this. If you liked 'Love is blind' or 'The Circle', you will most definitely like this as well.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
Story was very weird, the movie was finished when it started
The second worst marvel movie ever made (Black Widow is no. 1).
The movie got interesting after 60 minutes and the interesting part was like 10 minutes only and then the movie ended. What was that? 97 minutes? For this long wait? And then the story... No real background, many characters dont really do something in this movie and the only good thing in this movie was the endscene after the credits (which is the saddest part about it)
Very disappointed. The first one was so much better and I dont really want a third one tbh.
Black Widow (2021)
One of the worst movies ever made (by Marvel)
I'm just being honest here guys.
I am so happy I did not go into theaters to watch this.
If you're telling someone, that you are going to watch the new Marvel movie, what do you expect from the movie? Excellent CGI/Effects, Good and funny dialogue, Great Actors, Great Story, Soundtrack and a 2,5 hour movie that feels like a 1 hour movie because you love every second and the time goes by so fast.
This movie is all of this, - but in the bad way.
The dialogue is horrible. I mean come on. What did the writers think when they wrote this?
I was shocked, because I love the funny but still honest kind of dialogue in marvel movies. But in this movie, the dialogue was not only just unfunny, but it was so cringe, that you couldn't even believe what they said. I've never seen something that bad and I am very sorry to say that about a marvel movie.
The story is also really weird. I wouldn't call it bad, but I, personally, just didn't like it. Nothing really lead up and everything was kind of not fitting to the rest. I also felt like they tried too hard to make this a "women power" movie. Also: A big bad man who controls many women until they are set free? Did they want to make this a political statement? I am not sure and I did not like it.
The actors picked for this movie... I don't know. Maybe it was the dialogue that ruined their honesty for me, but I am not buying their acting/roles.
Music decision was also very cringe. They kind of tried to pick music that would've been in an Iron Man movie, but it just didn't fit.
This movie also felt like it would never end.
And the most shocking thing is the CGI/effects at the end of the movie. What the heck are you doing Marvel???? Marvel movies always had the best CGI on the market, but in the last 10 minutes of this movie.... jesus christ. If you want to know what I am talking about, just look at the scenes where Black Widow jumps out of the window and all the scenes where you can see her floating in the air (without her face shown). The lightning on her suit... did the internships do the effects of the last minutes or did you guys drink something???
Never watching this movie again. This movie should just be forgotten. This is the first Marvel movie I am not watching a second time. (And I've watched all of them 6 times already, because they were so good.)
Outer Banks (2020)
Just a vibe - SEASON 3 PLEASE
Awesome! Please hurry up with season 3... I've waited almost one year to watch all of the season in one day... come on!!!
9/10 because I've had a big headache sometimes in season 2.
Love the cast. Camera work is very good, the action scenes are a bit of overdramatized by the camera man, he really seemed to be more hyped about the scenes than all of the audience but still great work. Great lightning. One of the best Netflix Originals Series I've watched.
P4L.
Wir sind die Welle (2019)
Good production, bad story. GERMAN VIEWER
So first of all. ,Wir sind die Welle' is not really to compare with the movie ,Die Welle'. This series is about making difference and to fight against everything wrong in this world.
I personally, as a german citizen, am not a fan of the german movie industry. But after I saw ,Dark' on Netflix, everything changed. Because of ,Dark's good quality in production, I gave this series a try. And I must say, I'm impressed. The production quality on this thing... unbelievable. 4K, good scenery, great lightning, good actors and I did not cringe while watching. This is extremely good for german quality. The music/sounds were very well picked as well.
Well why did I give this series only 5/10? It's because of the story. First of all: I really hoped to see a series that extends the movie, which is not the case. The story in the series is just bad, really bad. The idea behind it is good, but the implementation is just bad. So clumpy and not logical sometimes. I really can't describe it. It was just bad, and thats very unfortunate, because the production team did so good.
This leads me to another point: Because of the bad story, this series did not get any fame and no viewers at all. This is also bad, because I'm 100% certain that there will be no second season. And I think many viewers will see this as a waste of time, because season one has an open ending (which makes sense because the director wanted to force a second season).
I think it was a nice experiment, very impressed with the protagonist as an actor, he did very well and the production on this is insane, but the story is not to be spoken about. I personally liked watching the series and I would watch the second season as well I think, if there were going to be one.
Joker (2019)
Metascore is true on this one. Overrated and overhyped.
I feel like it kind of was a waste of time.
Joaquin Phoenix' performance was a solid 8.
Because of a major hype this movie and Joaquin had, I at least expected a 10 in both, the movie overall/in general and Joaquins performance. I expected a new Joker in my heart, but nothing changed at all. The hype might have blown the movie for me.
The story was decent and boring at the same time. I really can't describe it.
It was decent. Another movie you will forget about in a couple of years. A movie, that you won't watch a second or even a third time.
All those 10/10 reviews are brainwashed or paid people. The movie is really nothing special.
This movie has 10 minutes of material that is interesting in it.
I thought that we might have a new Joker for future movies, but he ain't it. It just feels wrong, Joaquin as the Joker. Such a pathetic character in the movie.
I can't seriously think of a Batman movie with Joaquin as the Joker, it's impossible (and this is not Joaquins fault, the story just ruined Joker as a character for future movies tbh).
Not a 10/10 not even a chance of being one. 100/100 from IGN? Bs.
She's Out of My League (2010)
Saw it many times
There really is nothing else to say. It was just such a great movie. It really did what it had to do. Funny and sarcastic humor. Great cast, good acting, really convinced me. I loved it. Can't say anything else.
21 Bridges (2019)
Great movie.
The music was very well made. It fitted every scene.
I liked the deep character played by Chadwick, great acting, great storyline, a character whom u might not mess around with.
A little plot twist, a good one, but not like a huge one. Didn't surprise me that much because they took the twist kind of away by teasing it two or three times before the actual plot emerged.
Very good acting, and I really don't have a single complain about anyone in this movie. Very good casting and acting right there.
It was available on Prime, nice cover, got my interest.
If you like to see Chadwick Boseman as a hardcore detective and you love action, you might consider watching this movie.
