Erufen rîto (2004)
Great Story, incredible Background
Elfen Lied is probably one of the greatest Anime's ever. The Story is easy to follow, gorgeously brutal and has a pretty unobvious origin. The actual background is racism and unequal love. The Monsters in the series are treated like trash. Just like black people years back. It also uncovers that love can be between everything and everyone. Even if the partner is not human. All in all you should definitely check this anime out.
To Love-Ru - Darkness (2012)
Completely wrong direction.
The anime tried to be To Love Ru, but really failed. I don't mind that the story shifted to diffrent charcters, but I do mind that it shifted to the wrong characters. It's called "Darkness", so I expected to find out more about Golden Darkness, and I did, the problem is that side characters just became main charcters. Momo and Nana are not part of the main character Lineup. The relation between Rito, Lala and haruna became irrelevant, which is pretty bad, considering that they were the main reasoning for the story. For some reason the also thought it would be a great idea to make Rito love Momo more than Lala and Haruna, eventhough they really aren't that close as they illustrate it. I think it would have been better if the series had only focused on the side characters instead of the main and side characters making this unfimiliar and weird story lineup. This just isn't a good series anymore and since XEBEC have broken up their won't be an attempt to fix this mess. On the other hand it is sad to see the series fade out likethis. I really do hope someone will buy the licens to the anime and completly reboot it, by fixing the mess these two dark seasons have made.
Motto toraburu (2010)
Prefect followup to the first Season.
To Love Ru 1 was awesome and this seems like it really continued the series. We get new characters and more focus on the story. It does this by going in depth to the relationships between the characters. All in all a great anime once again.
Toraburu (2008)
Good Story, combined with much fan service
I watched To Love Ru Season 1 a few years back and didn't really like it, but that has changed after I rewatched it and saw what great comedy it has to offer. The story is fairly interesting and goes deeper the more you think about it. The story is mostly covered by adult homour which is perfect relief from the actual story. To anyone that hasn't watched yet, I can definetly recommend it.
