9-1-1: Athena Begins (2019)
The Perfect Begins Episode
Angela Bassett remains to prove us that she's the best actor in this show. I really loved the direction that they went for Athena and the way this story showed us why she is the person that she is today.
It gave me everything I never expected. It started off as a cute romance and ended in a really heartbreaking note. They really took it serious in this episode because the build up to the ending had me emotional.
I originally gave this episode an 8 out of 10 and I was so wrong because this deserves only 10s. I'm currently rewatching 9-1-1 and I gotta say that this show really peaked during season 2 and 3. Since I didn't remember anything the ending of this episode really had me emotional and I shed tears. It was such a powerful moment and the build up to it was perfect.
9-1-1: Malfunction (2019)
Amazing Back to Back episodes
The main focus of this episode are Hen and Eddie and they did a stellar job on balancing both of those storylines. I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of the fight club it just felt so random but I liked it because it helps us get to know more about Eddie and how he deals with stuff. Aisha gave a phenomenal performance during the ending like we got Angela Bassett in this show and she managed to be in the same level.
Heartbreaking and the music they chose for that scene traumatized me. The Last of Us, and Arrival also used that piece of music and it wrecked me. Hen's already going through a lot and this happened. 10/10 just wow this was really the peak of this show.
9-1-1: You Don't Know Me (2024)
Classic Fun 9-1-1 episode
It felt like I was watching an early season of 9-1-1 like season 1, 2, or 3. This was a fun episode despite of what Buddie fans say because they always set themselves up for disappointment by expecting way too much drived by their delusion.
We got 3 storylines HenRen, Buck, and Eddie. Surprisingly all of them we're great because we got this domestic heartwarming family story with HenRen. Buck figuring himself out and coming out to the closest people he knows. Eddie's storyline was so random but hilarious it was so unhinged.
I may not be the biggest fan of Marisol but I'm glad they explained Eddie's obsession with moving too fast with his relationships. That was an explanation that was long overdue.
Buck was the highlight of this episode once again. Oliver Stark never fails to play him so pathetic and yet such a loveable being. As a fellow bisexual his scenes with Maddie and Eddie warmed my heart. Honestly, rooting for Tommy!! I would love to see more of them so we can explore Buck's journey.
I'm a buddie fan but we need to let Eddie and Buck figure themselves out before putting them in a serious relationship. They've spent 6 years building this friendship they're approaching it in a safe way. I know most buddie fans can't wait but it'll be worth it.
9-1-1: Buck, Bothered and Bewildered (2024)
"I am free."
This was genuinely the best way to celebrate 9-1-1 's 100th episode. Ignore the biphobic reviews this was a beautiful episode. Oliver Stark may not be in a lot of projects but he continues to prove that he's got range and is a great actor. Buck is my favorite character in the entire show and to say that the stuff that happened came out of nowhere what show have you been watching?? During early seasons they gave tons of clues and media literacy is there for a reason.
Buck is a special character to me and the way he's still finding ways to discover himself is just chef kiss. I never knew that they would actually do it because we're in the seventh season and yet they finally did it! I absolutely loved how they approached this and delivered it in a heartwarming way. I shed a bit of tear at the ending. I've grown attached to these characters after years of watching.
9-1-1: May Day (2022)
Genuinely ONE OF THE BEST 911 EPS
WOW...... The first half of the season was really so mediocre but the second hand is SO GOOOOD... This episode gave me everything. It was intense and thrilling like wow. May is easily one of the stand outs I love her character and Claudette was a mixed bag but she was redeemed at the end for me. The intensity of this episode was on fire LITERALLY ON FIRE. The ending was really surprising and I hope it builds up to a good mystery.
I don't get the hate for the new girl in 118 yes she's very flirty to buck and back off when she kissed him few episodes ago but there's literally no reason for anyone to dislike her. She's cool and a promising character so far I like her addition to the team. With Eddie being back I hope she's not gone.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: What We (2024)
The Best Episode YET?
This may not be the general's favorite episode but so far it is mine. Danai Gurira brought back what the other walking dead shows was missing. It was the heart and soul of the characters and this episode was purely dialogue and I LOVED every single moment of it. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira gave us a powerful performance that this franchise has ever seen.
It is genuinely one of the deepest and best written episodes of The Walking Dead. Rick is not the man he used to be and that creates such an intriguing conflict between the characters. The actors are able to bring the emotions and make you really feel them in every single scene. You can feel Michonne's frustration and also understand Rick's state it really was a rollercoaster of emotions.
Not only Danai can perform she can also produce, write, and be one of the creators one of the show. I'm glad she and Andrew took control of how they're going to take these characters who they've known and understand for years into a different level that we haven't seen before.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live: Years (2024)
They're back better than ever.
This was honestly surprising on how good this pilot was. The 6 years wait was very very worth it for this moment. It takes it's time to get it going but there was never a dull moment. I love how this first episode was entirely on Rick's perspective and the second one focuses on Michonne. This pilot is very promising and I hope it continues to impress me and is consistent with it's writing.
Andrew Lincoln puts on an amazing performance along with his co-actor who played Okafor. It's insane how this man doesn't have more roles in his filmography. The pacing of this episode was really good and I love the route they're going with Rick. His struggles and decisions coming up to him and eating him inside. I really don't have anything more to say but this was really really good. This was the first time in years I have been this excited for a tv show.
High School Musical: The Musical - The Series: Born to Be Brave (2023)
An amazing exit.
What a brilliant way to end the show. I didn't expect it to end on such a HIGH NOTE. Every character had a great ending and they also fixed some of the previous season's issues. Had a satisfying built up on the couples like Gina and Ricky and Maddox and Ashlyn. It really is one of the best series finale out there. If you told me that this show would get like a million times better I would've told you were crazy like S2 wasn't the best and S3 was great.
It's like they got a brand new great writers because the character building was excellent. EJ got a perfect exit loved the way he was content and humble. Also the side characters this season were cute Mack and his gf was a fun addition. The original song at the end was really great I keep saying the word great because it really is.
Born to be Brave is an amazing show and I loved that the cast had the experience filming this. I would've loved to see Lily the blonde villain and Nini back even if it's a small cameo so it would really come full circle. It's out of character for Nini to miss her bff Kourtney opening night.
Andor: Rix Road (2022)
Powerful and Masterclass
Andor reaches every level it was supposed to and turns out to be the best starwars project since Empire Strikes Back. They landed on the finale it was absolutely amazing. The characters, script, music , acting and basically everything was perfect. It was very powerful and uplifting not alot of shows can do what they did. The crew, cast and everyone who worked on this show deserves a round of applause for their amazing work. I absolutely cannot wait for season 2! Who knew that a show about a random character would turn out to be the best streaming show of 2022?
The empire/isb are such a great antagonist im glad they're not using the jedi and siths all over again instead they gave us a fresh breath of air.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: Ribbit and Rip It (2022)
Matt Murdock is BACK!!
I wish the rest of the show was written like this episode because it was an amazing episode. Charlie Cox chemistry with Titania was great I giggled alot they're so fun together I need them to interact more in other projects. The fight scenes were good but not amazingly shot like Daredevil but that's fine the music and the cinematography wins me over.
The ending was excellent we finally got to the plot after so many episodes this show had so many potential but anyways. She-Hulk being viewed as a monster at the end was not in my bingo card but it was such a good tease and i hope the main villain gets their ass kick next episode.
Andor: The Axe Forgets (2022)
My Favorite Episode yet
Andor continues to be amazingly written, interesting characters, story driven and amazing cinematography.
This episode is my favorite because of everything that happened I was hooked the entire time. This is starwars' game changer a very mature and refreshing addition to the franchise. The music is so perfect i got chills all over my body they are doing amazing and the show is not action packed because it's actually taking it's time to build an amazing story and building it up with these episodes for the action to start in the next ep.
Andor and the guy who's obsessed with him are such interesting characters.
High School Musical: The Musical - The Series: The Real Campers of Shallow Lake (2022)
the funniest and the best ep of the show
I think this season has been pretty good so far it really redeemed itself after that season 2 dumpster fire.
This was hilarous the drama too was on fire Ricky, Maddox , Gina , Carlos, and basically everyone. I love the fake dramas they're doing it was so entertaining ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Every character on this episode was hilarous my only complaint is that they need to stop doing music video scenes instead of doing an actual musical moment. (Solo songs every ep)
Only Murders in the Building: I Know Who Did It (2022)
I never really guessed the killer
This season was full of surprises. I didn't expect that reveal that was so well done the best episode of the entire show. The ending leaves you wanting more again.
The Walking Dead: Last Day on Earth (2016)
Huge cliffhanger why the 6.8
This episode was amazing and terrifying although it does have a huge cliffhanger how did it get so many low ratings???? The episode itself was great especially when The Villain comes in.
The Walking Dead: No Way Out (2016)
Top Tier TELEVISION
The show never miss with their 8th episode of the season. Daryl and Rick are phenomenal i love them exploding Negan's men was one of the highlights of the episode. Teamwork is the reason wht Alexandria is still standing.
The Walking Dead: Start to Finish (2015)
Deserved a 9 instead of 8 in Imdb
This episode was phenomenal one of their best episodes. It was so thrilling and emotional I knew something bad was gonna happen it was so exciting and scary at the same time. The final 10 minutes shook me i don't understand the hate this was so AMAZING and that boring morgan focused ep deserved a 7 not an 8.
The Walking Dead: Live Bait (2013)
Boring Governor
This is such a boring filler like they could've made him interesting other than a psychotic guy who lost his family boohoo he still sucks why isn't this the lowest rated ep instead.
The Walking Dead: Still (2014)
Didn't DESERVED that Lowest Rated Episode
It's a great episode a lot of character development for Daryl and Beth they're such a good unexpected duo i love their sibling moments.
Give this episode a chance it's great Beth really grew a lot in this episode she deserved that for being sidelined for majority of the time.
The Walking Dead: Beside the Dying Fire (2012)
CINEMA
The episode is amazing from beginning to end. It was such a ride a very satisfying finale for a slow good season and I love Rick Grimes that's my father amazing writing btw.
Only Murders in the Building: The Last Day of Bunny Folger (2022)
Amazing Only Murders
I dont remember much of bunny in s1 but this ep is great that it made me sympathize for her like... the writing is so good it made me so sad
"A simple act of kindness could've saved Bunny's life." I hope the next episodes are well written like this one i love it made me laugh a lot.
The Umbrella Academy: Meet the Family (2022)
VERY STRONG START
That 21 minute opening was some of the best things that happened in the show. The footloose sequence was so much fun like the rest of the episode but i think it dragged out still amazing just maybe they could've cut the song in half and not do the entire thing. The sparrows had a great introduction most of the cgi feels polished it looks great the ending is quite shocking a strong start i hope it continues.
Top Gun: Maverick (2022)
A flawless masterpiece
"Who's the better pilot? You or me?" "It was a nice moment, let's not ruin it."
it was incredible amazing perfect flawless masterpiece from beginning to end i left the theater smiling so hard. The cinematography, sound design and the soundtrack was godtier. The beach scene me smiling so hard under my mask😠also the humor and the love story works really well it's well balanced from the plot.
The movie really hits different when you've seen the first one the emotional core works really well even if you haven't seen the first one.
The action sequences were literally breathtaking it got me at the edge of my seat everytime and it was really made to see in theaters and the sound design in dolby atmos will bless your ears.
Stranger Things: Chapter Six: The Dive (2022)
crazy horrifying ending
I am a fan of all the storylines but the russia one not so much.. it had potential but ended up being kind of boring but eventually it got better.
The visuals and the ending got me shaking and screaming for a character.
Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Massacre at Hawkins Lab (2022)
S1 Brilliantness
I never thought that s4 would simply top the masterpiece s1 is. It's just so well written and the villain origin reveal was perfect actually and well done. Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink is the top performers of the entire show and Winona Ryder too but she wasn't given enough to do this season.
Stranger Things: Chapter Four: Dear Billy (2022)
Perfect and the last 5 minutes were AMAZING
The music the visuals and the scene of max got me shaking this is one of the best stranger things episode just perfect.
Sadie Sink acting deserves awards.
