Rogue Warfare: The Hunt (2019)
Rogue - yes Warfare - no.
So before you watch this 2nd installment of Rogue Warfare I'm guessing you've watched the first movie??
This movie follows on from where the first left off, trying to find the enemy who have captured Daniel a member of the 'special forces' team before they do something to him
Theres a few questions that come to you when your watching this like why does the bad guy talk half of his sentence in Iranian for which we have subtitles and then switch to English for no reason, who trained the rebel soldiers to fight and who on Google asked if this was a true story?
So the acting.... The best actor is Daniel and he spends most of the film locked in a cage. The rest is pretty poor. You will wish there was a go fund me page so at least they could of paid for Idris Elba instead of Jermaine Love... not that hes bad but you can see what they were trying to do
The plot..... Fairly standard plot, it's just aswell that the enemy soldiers were so poorly trained otherwise there would be no need for the second or third...
The script..... Well Andrew DeCesare wrote it after probably watching films like Black hawk down a few too many times. Maybe it's just the way the lines are delivered but be prepared for some stereotypes and blinding obvious dialogue like *spoiler alert* they bring an injured Daniel back and the medics have the line ''Let's get him inside" like there was anywhere else they could take him..
In closing this film was watchable even if it was just to pick holes and laugh at what was wrong with it.
Theres a third one, why I dont know but can't wait.
