Shakuntala Devi (2020)
Vidya Kasam..........
Vidya Kasam Vidya Balan is becoming a actor of substance and the stories she picks are bringing her character to life. a thoroughly enjoyable movie with tight script which does not lose steam and mother daughter relations kept intact. Not sure how truthful this story is on Mathematician Shakunthala Devi, but as a person not knowing her was missing a small part of a history. Bringing this genius back on screen and into people's memory is wonderful. Direction, screenplay and casting deserves full marks. kudos.
Greed (2019)
Steve lights up the inspiring cast
Its unfair to single out Steve alone, the entire cast stood out in this rib tickling below the belt satire of- win at all cost business deals at the expense of human value degradation. Wonderfully done fast paced and a look into what a sham life high and mighty lead. Not all but those wallowing in money do have to put on the grease paint and it surely sucks. enjoyable movie. Many current day issues were dealt with sensibilities.
Vanaprastham (1999)
Colours of emotions
One of most colourful movie carried all along by Mohanlal. ably supported by Suhasini. an intricate emotions surrounding the central character's role. Its a slow developing movie which takes you till the end to realise the gravity of the action of the Main protagonist. The Director shines with his creation and how society has shaped the characters face.
Annayum Rasoolum (2013)
Insipid Love story plot
There is subtleness in narrating love and this story has actually been a dud of all. Fahad's expressions were all over the place like deadwood, found like he was trying to romanticise on occasions which needed innocence or other emotions. Jeremiah too was found wanting in second half while her role of nearly mute lover for circumstances is well played. Its highly over rated movie and without comparing with other movies this is just way to simple. its a sadaa dosai.

Know your nation
The times are changing and are changing fast, every Indian is fed by fixed news and news which has drama and excitement and not TRUTH. Todays India is overrun by RIGHT leaning leaders whose sole objective is satisfy their programmed minds and impose and show a dream they have dreamt. There is no democracy there is no constitution and every Politician is a THIEF trying to sell peanut for walnut. Its upto us as a human with sense of DHARMA to discern this deceit.
Jai Bhim Comrade (2011)
A slap on face of Conniving Indian Politician
I would consider this a benchmark in Indian documentary making. it possesses all qualities of a unrestrained uncensored and brave portrayal of prevailing politics in caste vote bank of Maharashtra and how people from lower castes are being pushed lower. I became aware how political colours and seasons make the person with CASTE decorated with seasonal colours to make him look like the colours of flag bearer but in reality they are victims of circumstances and social INJUSTICE. Shameful a common man if he still clings to belief in Political ideology.
Thappad (2020)
Thappad don't take it lightly
Never knew a slap is so powerful a tagline. The world is all masochistic in nature this movie breathes fresh air into this contrived notion. Women share equal responsibility in anything and hence the need to be on equal footing on everything. The use of mirrors to represent conversation between 2 characters has been beautiful, next the routine grind was shown in a subtle manner in those actions portrayal. All characters did justice to their roles especially Taapsee's transformation from curly damsel to soft fighter is amazing, even though her eyebrows were done badly hehehhehehhe. there are many characters who lent weight to this movie in a such a way that everybody carried the movie on their shoulders. Must watch family drama of 21st century gone are those constant crying, threats, cheating, tantrums and all. a breezy family drama.
