Come on 😂
30 May 2022
Chloe and Braddock characters try desperately to be tough, in control, dominating, yet simply end up looking like sad tryhards; Cringeworthy Hollywood push. I'm surprised their characters were allowed to be somewhat restrained in the end.

Poor Rebel Wilson
15 May 2022
Oh man it's bad. Rebel was held back by Hollywoods need to First please PC types, then somewhere at bottom they attempt to please the viewers. Boooo!

Rebel was great prior to this PC insanity.

Here we go again
28 September 2020
Yep, apparently this is a politically correct movie of the times from the past but now future PC safe. What? I agree, total garbage. Such beautiful scenery, such great costume and sets only to be wasted on such propaganda that reigns supreme in Holywood these days. Sad time and worse to come

Crossroads for my rating
17 September 2020
Brilliant story telling, great acting. My only issue was that the ENTIRE movie was orientated around one BAD male after the other, it was relentless. There was one bad blonde woman but she tried to come good in the end so that was neutral. So a brilliant movie which could had been a solid 8 I rated at 5 but settled on 6. Stop making ALL men look like violent sex murdering maniacs. Atleast balance it out a little for the love of apparent so called EQUALITY give it up!

Steady does it
11 September 2020
I'm not sure whether it was the scenery, storyline, actors or a combination of all and more, but I was captivated throughout. This is NOT an action packed movie, but it is really well done that you will not want to miss a second. Great steady pace with calm ambient music. I actually wished it went on for longer. SOLID 7 /10 . Great job!

Get a life!
18 August 2020
To those who gave this anything above 4, this review title is FOR YOU! I agree with the reviewers stating this should have been no longer than 30 minutes. EXTREMELY boring, NO it's not deep ,its a stretched out domestic argument between a married couple than turns into a self indulged psychosis I AM VICTIM drama from there on. I liked the location of the property, that gets the 1 star, boooooo!

Overachieving Drama School Geeks
1 August 2020
This felt like a drama school play Extended version. So much talking, over dramatic acting in many parts, the story went nowhere. Overall I was thoroughly B O R E D. Budget was one vehicle window, 12 glow sticks & $2 wine. Harsh but an honest review

Boring
21 July 2020
Boring, you know... just like the first one. Slow, dull, characters are not likeable in first or in the sequel. YAWN. Yes both the first & this sequel have good sets, costumes, wardrobe, but that won't make a movie captivating on it's own.

Apparently we're all DUMB
18 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Yes it seems the writers think we are that dumb we would believe such nonsense. Where do I start. I was hoping the bad guy would finish the main character within the first few minutes of him arriving. She feels vibrations she stated, well you can't feel the vibrations of a person begging for their life thumping on glass & door 1.5 meters away? You don't have Peripheral vision? Killer present, does not think of getting a weapon for 20 minutes or so? Neighbour man about to knock him out with stone & she stops him. Neighbour guy chocking the killer & instead of coming out to help finish him she sits thinking. Killer climbs lattice, instead of pushing him off or hitting him again she crawls back inside. So many more examples that it was frustrating & I was pleased when the main character was hit with the arrow & fingers went snap crackle & pop, Yay for her strong hand! Give me a break. Another bad male, come on Holywood... tell us again how bad males are. Pathetic! Booo

Surprisingly good
17 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Dissatisfied with movies in recent times, it was a good distraction a Reset button with this one. Lots of twists to keep you guessing in the later stages of the movie. Great soundtrack which at the beginning you would assume you were going to be watching a horror movie. Spoiler: a male is the bad guy in this one also, even though the woman is the unfaithful family destroyer, somehow someway she ends up the victim...... anyway, good movie. Watch it!

No million dollar actors, yet worth a billion!
12 July 2020
Goes to show how good story telling, basic footage and great directing is more than enough to keep audience captivated. No explosions, no big budget special effects required, just a great true story. Good team work, definitely worth watching

Entertaining true events
25 June 2020
Exciting entertaining documentary series. Great presentation, awesome on court & behind the scenes footage. Barack Obama's repeated dribble, pardon the pun.... was totally unneccessary as there was no need to drag the race card into this, this is Basketball! Hell, Carmen Electra had more intriguing things to say than Obama did. Well done overall to the producing team, I recommend this to any sports fan.

Could not turn away
19 June 2020
Captivating, yet somewhat predictable, but due to the great directing, acting and cinematography it falls back into the captivating category. Btw, I found the wife's violent spontaneous outbursts both verbal & physical more frightening than DeNiros character. Great movie & worth watching again in couple years or so.

Added a star for good reason!
16 June 2020
I added a star to my original 7 due to the fact that this movie proves that low budget, great directing, great acting and a rollercoaster of emotions can wield great results. There's No huge special effects apart from the last scene, there's no big push for political agendas (possible global warming, but no blame or guilt trip push), just ordinary people in a tragic unplanned situation. It makes you question, What would I do? Where would I be? Who would I be with? There's no tricky plots for there to be holes in it, it's straight forward emotion yet it somehow managed to incorporate action and adventure to keep you hooked. Well done to the entire team, good on you Aussies!

Seriously?
12 June 2020
Tried to like it, but the acting & forceful agenda kept pushing me further & further away. What people think works in their favour by obsessively pushing & promoting their exaggerated propaganda & in itself racist, is only dividing people further than they MIGHT have been already. I'm no racist, but this is sad, a sad attempt to draw attention in the most selfish way possible. Stepping on everyone else to stand on top makes you worse than any so called racist or so called problem at hand. Standing with and promoting equality rather than a victim mentality & pointing fingers as throughout this movie would be far more productive. Wish I did not see this movie.

What comes at night?
3 June 2020
Loved the realistic deep thought out drama of the movie. However, I kept waiting to see what exactly is it that comes at night. The title itself made me mad in the end not so much the actual movie. It was quite slow and maybe a little too deep in some scenes as it dragged on. I think they could of had some extra action or adventure scenes, like out in the woods. Overall it was entertaining, not scary if that's what your expecting or wanting.

Worth my time, worth your time
2 June 2020
Here's a movie based on true events, true heroes. Armchair warriors & politicians treated them like cowards knowing nothing of the truth and predicament that was inflicted upon them. Sounds similar to today's keyboard warriors hiding in the safety of their homes behind their secure screens. Salute to the bravery and staunch of these men. Please be reminded that what you hear and see from the media is not always true, in fact the opposite is usually the case.

An extra star for the effort
20 May 2020
Considering the budget for the entire film was half a milkshake & stale bag of chips, the producer, actors, wardrobe, sets....hell the whole team did quite well. Yes it did carry on a little too long in parts, but overall what I liked about it was that it was as close to realistic as you could imagine it to be. Good effort team!

Murder She Wrote then.....
19 May 2020
First 80% -85% of the movie was literally a day time episode of Murder She Wrote (think that's what the series was called) remaing 15% was decent Sherlock Holmes slightly inspired drama making it somewhat worth it in the end.

Not bad, not great, good enough
16 May 2020
It didn't take itself too serious. The movie was obviously dumbed down to an almost comedic level & put together as compact as possible keeping viewers interest just long enough. Jackman does a great job & really kept the movie together. Lucky enough Jackman was the main character, great acting. I think the movie would have worked on a more serious note also, there was enough detail available based on true facts to be serious or in this case a more relaxed option. Worth the watch. Solid 6 /10

Oh my where would we be without Sylvie
15 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Sylvie is a helicopter pilot, aeroplane pilot, army officer, knows medical treatment, is a psychologist & psychiatrist, a defuser of danger situations also the instigator of danger situations, a truck driver, an engineering fuel expert, a mind reader, FEARLESS, oh & most importantly she does Not know how to smile & despises men! That's just 4 or 5 episodes in. I expect her to turn into an aeroplane like a trabsformer, also transform into a big screen to shield the sun, also turn water into wine very soon...maybe next episode. So far all the men are bad, portrayed with a bad past, or present behaviour, you know the usual bad man topic these days. It's leaving a bad taste....yuk! If only the agendas were left out of it, it could have been so so much more, love the concept.

Literally laughed Out Loud
14 May 2020
So this was never meant to win an Oscar, let's be honest with ourselves. Nobody with a brain would press Play thinking this was going to blow their minds with best cinematography or acting. However it did one thing well & it did it VERY well, it made me LOL throughout the movie. The stupidest & simplest things can be worth every minute. Well done on this one, credit due there!
