Ollie's Pack (2020)
Love a whole lot-good for most people
So I first saw the commercials and I instantly thought, "WHAT??? THIS LOOKS HORRIBLE AND GROSS!!!!" Well, I wanted to watch the SpongeBob that was on right before it, so I was watching Nick not keeping track of the time. However, it became 3 before I knew it, and so then SB finshed and the theme song to this came on and I was intantly like "OH NO!!!!" But I couldn't find the remote in time. But now I'm hearing the theme song and I noticed the intresting off-beat ring to it. I was like, hm, this isn't so bad. so it eventually becomes the title picture and it has the pixally music part and a nice title and picture. "Okay, you have me, but just for now." That's what I thought until I saw the whole episode. and I am often not a liker of new shows due to them not being very filled with funny. Like the Loud House, The Casagrandes, and It's Pony. I liked the first episode and then I got bored. Well it's almost been 2 weeks and I am ABSOLUTLY HOOKED on this show. at 2:55 every day I turn on my TV so that way it can turn on, set up the sound bar, cable, and change the channel and I can still catch the whole theme song. I mean honestly Ollie is just the perfect cartoon expression. And if you don't mind some random stuff then you gotta say, he is kinda cute. My favorite so far has been Race to Sploosh Mountain, it is hilarious and really brings out all the emotions of Ollie and his friends. And to parents, so far there is no cartoon violence like gore, flirting, cussing, or sex like in SpongeBob Squarepants. But I mean, don't let week 1 fool you, but even if these themes are added then I would still watch it for the reactions of Ollie, Bernie, and Cleo as they deal with these monsters. Keep the deep tones in the theme song, for that's what made the Fairly OddParents worth watching early.
P.S.: this is made my Nelvana for Nick, just like many other shows I liked when I was like 1-4, such as Max&Ruby, so if you or your kid liked that show as a young kid then this might be a great discovery.
Don't ever hault this show, the inoccent but determend smile of Ollie is what is allowing me to swallow. Until I saw this show I really couldn't swallow a thing, and as soon as I saw Ollie I had never felt better!
I am now slowly trying (as they are trying to load) to change all my profile pics to Ollie on many websites.
I love this show and Ollie so much, if you think it's to plain then try watching some of the newer SpongeBob episodes, I love that show for a reason because I like the dark themes, but that was getting me worked up sometimes during the big Covid outbreak, so Ollie came over and calmed me down. Anyone who is anyone should watch it.
SpongeBob SquarePants (1999)
This is a very important thing. Please read it.
So this show is very funny. At least, that is it's main title word from me. I think that the IMdb website and all other websites, including the Channel Guide and Episode Listings, need to change their rating (which is usally Y or sometimes Y7,) from that to PG-13, because if you search for it on Bing, it says TV-14. The reason I agree with this is because I mean look at this things parental guide, it is SUPER LONG. Some things are like nudity, because you are often seeing the characters without clothes on, and if they are wearing clothing, it is more often then not a bikini or swimsuit. Also they can strongley suggest cussing some times like, "Oh shrimp!" meaning the "S" word. And there are many suicidel actions in this show. And though "Squidwards Suicide" is not licensed to official the show in any way, if you become a big enough spongebob fan to search spongebob in a web search, one of the first things you will see is that video. And that is one of the freakiest things in the world. Although, back to the show itself, some inappropriate things are suggested, like in the episode "The Check Up." And love, smoking, internal organs, and sexual stuff are pretty frequent. Also, according to websites for fans such as Top Ten, the most emotional episode of a show to be aired IN NICKALODEON, was "Have you seen this Snail?" a huge spongebob episode, of which Gary almost gets killed after running away from SpongeBob. Also there are episodes like Whatever Happened to SpongeBob that are sad. And even part of Escape from Underneath Glove World, Frozen Face Off, and the Krusty Krab anniversary episode. Plus, some episodes, especially "The Splinter" are very gross, and often they use real images or realistic images to show some things out. By the way, sometimes they show eating bad stuff like in part of Rodeo Daze where Patrick eats a moldy Krabby Patty like it is no problem. And some people are IGNORING all this stuff and just saying they don't like it because of all the stupidity! IF THEY DON'T LIKE THIS SHOW, THEN THEY SHOULD THINK OVER THE FACT THAT THEY CAN ACCTUALLY HANDLE SOME THINGS THIS SHOW SUGGETS! I mean, someone said this should be on Nick Jr. with Dora and stuff. DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD PUT A PRETTY MUCH TV-14 SHOW ON A CHANNEL FOR 5 YEAR OLDS????
So to all parents: read the parental warning guide. If your kid is under the age of 9, they may try to repeat some actions listed like nudity, flirting, and cussing. And if they are not very mature yet, I suggest you wait. However, once you get to be about my age (as a teenager), the jokes become funny, the bright colors become awesome, the weirdness becomes better to understanding, and most of all more suiting to maturness.
WHOEVER SAID THIS SHOULD BE ON NICK JR., THINK AGAIN AFTER READING THE PARENTAL WARNING RATES.
