Easy Rider (1969)

I watch the film to see Fonda's motorcycle
11 September 2009
Actually I am a Xtreme fan of very tall-handled motorcycle like the one used in this film ridden by Peter Fonda. I didn't like the other bike by Hopper. When I came to know Easy Rider has a custom chopper motorcycle with long handle-bar I checked out the film. I was disappointed by the film as it is boring most of the time.

The few good things about this film are: (1) the opening credit sequence. I think the best scene of the movie is when Peter Fonda's name is shown on the screen, he looked very cute, very cool with his one handed riding. (2) Definitely the song-Born to be wild. (3) The cameo from Tony Basil. (4)The ending. I almost cried when the scoundrel shot Billy. Then I realized, nothing to cry, Denise Hopper is still alive.

Overall, a bad film but as a motorcycle rider I liked the journey of two bikers.

Rush Hour (1998)

Good film but action is less
10 June 2008
I'm a die hard martial arts and Jackie Chan fan. That's why I saw the film but I was a little disappointed that where is the martial arts. Jackie should be involved in long fight scenes with his humoristic acts. Fight scenes were incredibly short in this film.

On the other hand it has some funny materials. I like the scene when Chris Tucker meets Chan in airport and says, "please tell me you speak English. I'm detective Carter, do you understand the words that are coming out my mouth", That's really funny!! Chan and Tucker both are master comedians. Their chemistry was awesome but Hollywood should increase action stunts rather than focusing on relationship or comedy.

True Lies (1994)

Well entertaining action classic
10 June 2008
True Lies is one of my most favorite films of all time. Everything is here-action, romance, comedy, whatever you want. Arnold, Bill Paxton, Art Malik, Eliza Dushku, Tia Carrere: everyone has done a great job. I'm a die hard Eliza Dushku fan and I wanted a bigger role of her in this action masterpiece. She perfectly played the naughty daughter of Arnie and Jamie. But I was disappointed to see Jamie Lee here; although she is 11 years younger than Arnie she looks 11 years older!! She has a very unattractive and disliking face but I'm not saying she is a bad actress.

Arnold was fabulous in action and comedy, Art Malik played a very tough villain, Bill was absolutely funny and entertaining, Tia was voluptuous and a perfect cast for the role. Every actor's acting was remarkable in this $110 million budgeted film and it should be earned over $200 million but finally it grossed only $146m in US. I think all action fan will love this film.

Wrong Turn (I) (2003)

Eliza Dushku is as great as always
10 June 2008
Wrong Turn is the film from when I started to love Eliza Dushku. It's my 2nd time to watch her film and soon I discovered that she was none other the brattish girl of Arnie and Jamie Lee in True Lies. Her acting ability is something more than marvelous. Her dress up in WT may be simple but still she looked hot and gorgeous with the blue jeans and white tops. She played quite a dismal and gloomy character who had no boyfriend.

I like the film for Dushku actually. Without her there is nothing left in the film for me. Emmanulle Chriqi's character was irritating but Desmond Harrington has done a good job. The cannibalistic forest guys are horrific and the toothless (1 existing tooth) old man played a nice cameo.

Wonderful kung fu film
9 June 2008
Some people is dissatisfied with that film for the poor plot. Forget about the plot, man. People don't see this type of film for the so called plot. Game of Death II has the best fight scene of the century. I doubt even Bruce Lee could't do much better than this if he was alive during the filming of the film.

Tong Lung has portrayed some marvelous kung fu or jeet kune do here. Yuen Biao was fantastic and Yuen Wo Ping did an outstanding choreography. The music is fabulous kinda horror type. You will not forget the final fight scene between Chin Ku and Bobby Lo. It was long and heartstopping. You must see the film if u r an action fan. Do not bother about the plot but just enjoy the greatest fight.

The best action adventure of all time
9 June 2008
I can't understand why The Forbidden Kingdom has grossed only $52 million in US box office while Ironman is grossing over $282 million. I can't understand u people. The Forbidden Kingdom is the better film of the two. It has two world greatest martial art masters (who meet for the 1st time), two beautiful female leads and awesome martial arts action. Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same film? It's like dream came true to me. It is an absolutely entertaining action epic starring two phenomenal action stars. American fight style is boring and ridiculous compare to Chinnese or Japanese or Korean fight but still Ironman is ahead. Do u people find anything interesting in gun action? It's monotonous and cowardly all the way. But see when Chan and Li fights against each other like a man. Chan's performance in the film seems extraordinary great to me. Li Bingbing also has done a great job with her white hair. Michael Angarano is OK but his fighting ability is poor and final fight scene with the local thugs should be much better and longer. Anyway, Yuen Wo Ping is as superb as always to choreograph the actions. 11/10

Awesome action and acrobatics!
9 June 2008
It is one of the greatest action films I've ever seen in my life. I'm a die hard martial arts fan and I love this film. Muay Thai Kickboxer Tony Jaa is awesome acrobat and martial artist who may be equal to Bruce Lee. Tom Yum Goong may have a weak plot but who cares about the plot if there is superb action and acrobatic martial arts. I like specially the 3-minute bone-crunching show of Jaa against 50 black-suited guys and obviously the one shot scene in the 4 storied restaurant. I can't understand why some people said it is a bad action film. Honestly, this film contains the best action sequence ever. Do u people Steven Seagal's movies. His movies contain unbelievably short fight scenes, only 5/6 minutes of fight in a 100 minute-movie. like If u like martial arts it's the must see film for you.
