Wild Little Love (2019)
i cant believe i liked it
Wild Little Love premiered on TV and i end up watching it on iwant for the uncut version. These were the kinds of movie where you don't like the story BUT because of its execution you cannot rate it low.
You would not be impressed by the story, but u would be satisfied by the all the other elements of the film. The script, the scenes that would play right on your emotions, the music and the acting, like what i said, it was greatly executed.
The film banked on Seth Fedelins and Andrea Brillantes' chemistry, it was really showcased in the film and it works, plus Andrea's flawless portrayal, she carried the movie in her shoulders.
Silly Red Shoes (2019)
lax family film
After it premiered on television, i decided to watch its uncut version on iwantph, as I'm curious on what scenes they left out. Silly Red Shoes stars Franchine Diaz and Kyle Echari.
The story will make you cry, and dialogues will touch your heart. But i felt that the scenes where monotonous and the highlights did not lift the movie's mood, it was too lax.
The film is plotted heavily on family drama, it has teen romance on the side but very light, this is for me a major let down, since the movie was supposed to showcase one of the gold squad's love team, a vehicle to follow through their Kadenang ginto team up. One commendable thing for me is Kyle's passionate portrayal, I felt that he gave his best for his role.
Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019)
not good not bad
Another Kathryn same ol' tone of character film! I wish that her writers and directors would gave her something different worthy of famas or urian award, she deserves it, it was just the material that always failed her.
The story could have been very good to tell, but it was the storytelling that seems to be ordinary and safe... it could have been pushed a little bit more.
but at the end of the day, it makes you feel something and that is what Filipino films are good at
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017)
must watch
A film about self reinvention and at the same time abandonment of the old! It was a marvelous movie and acting is gold!
you'll appreciate Manhattan more than ever!
