Appears to be a bad remake of 'The Odessa File'.

This film appears to be a poor quality remake of 'The Odessa File', with fewer ideas. The main characters are unpleasant, you don't care about any of them, and what was the Chinese girl upto anyway. Not worth watching.

Inheritance (1967– )
An excellent adaptation of a classic novel
20 November 2001
The series is an adaptation of Phyllis Bentley's novel of the same name. In each generation the key characters were played by the same actors (James Bolam and John Thaw) which gave a wonderful sense of continuity to the production. The story of a Yorkshire wool manufacturing family from the Luddites to the present day it is an outstanding story with a production to match. I wish it was still available - it is well worth repeating.

Yes, I remember...
22 October 2001
Yes, I remember Virgin of the Secret Service. A spoof of Batman, but with the same impossible villain each week, who always had 'a plan of the utmost simplicity', and was invariably foiled by Virgin. Complete with a moustache of outstanding proportions he was the perfect English officer. The plots were simple, the dialogue agonising and the characters more wooden than Thunderbirds, but we loved it! I'm not surprised it disappeared without trace.
