The Mentalist: Russet Potatoes (2009)
A great episode whose potential would never be realized again.
The tension that occurs in this episode and all the plot twists it contains are simply magnificent, the whole theme related to the hypnotist academy is wonderful, unfortunately, the series perhaps seeing that they would be a little more "realistic" decided to discard this concept.
It would have been amazing if any disciple of Red John had participated in the academy and either because of their talent or ability, become an additional threat to Jane, we were very rarely shown their hypnosis abilities during the series and the few times they came up, they didn't feel as epic as they did in this chapter.
The truth is, despite how realistic the series tries to be, it presents so many fantastic phenomena that having become involved with the academy again wouldn't have seemed strange.
However, Great Episode.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: The Maud Couple (2018)
Worst couple ever
The only reason this episode is considered a good one is because of the huge Maud's fan base that meets the dark-gothic standard that Americans love so much.
Mudbriar is a detestable character from start to finish, although Limestone's message may seem nice on the surface, the reality is that it simply doesn't apply in this case, many will think that it was some kind of ruse so that Pinkie would finally understand, what how their friends felt when they first met Maud, but it's one thing to be down-to-earth and another to just be hateful.
Maybe my perception is biased from similar relationships that I've seen end horribly, but simply empathizing with Pinkie before evangelizing her is the right thing to do.
Date a Live: Manifestation (2014)
You want a reason to be a fan of this show, there it is
Best episode of the entire franchise.
The development of the characters how ends such a curious arc that most would dismiss as the "typical beach chapter".
Many could say that Shido doesn't become a badass until season 4, however, I can say that the great character that he can become is born in this episode, the series has him relegated, but this is where his true nature shines.
The beginning of the chapter with the battle of the Ratatoskr is spectacular and all the doubts that they leave us with for the future simply make it something very delightful, it is a pity that in the Spanish dubbing it was not possible to capture all the essence that this episode contains, to Lucky for those who read me, the English dubbing, despite not being up to the original, makes it much better and really captures the essence of what this episode wanted to convey.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: Yakity-Sax (2018)
Worst episode ever
If I had one good thing to say, it would be that the episode could end at minute 9 and everyone could say it's okay.
Pinkie is out of character and can make the current worst Lisa Simpson episodes look acceptable, yes, that's how bad it is.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: Amending Fences (2015)
Larson Rulez
It involves past events and their aftermath, and putting them together with the best writing, that's what this episode is.
Moondancer could have had her own spin-off and no one would have complained (as long as Larson was the writer, of course).
The Simpsons: Mr. Lisa's Opus (2017)
A personal insult to Barthood as a sequel and a bad Lisa's episode overall
The reviews that give this episode as a masterpiece and rate it better than others that touch about the future or have a blind fanaticism to the character that I would not know how to explain, or simply did not really appreciate the chapters that are good and better than this in every way.
This episode tries to look like a spiritual sequel to Barthood, but all the magic of that other episode is lost in lousy jokes (if you laughed when Bart brought up Grandpa's status and still consider this episode better than Barthood, reassess your priorities when you watch again any other "future" episode) which hinder the plot and doesn't allow to develop the concept that they wanted, which to be honest looked interesting, but again, the writers nowadays do not come up with good writing when it comes to Lisa.
The only positive thing I give it is Lisa's design and the end of the chapter, otherwise, it's a total disappointment.
House M.D.: Bombshells (2011)
Painful Breakdown
The way Cuddy interprets dreams couldn't be more wrong, her breakup with House feels so out of place and convenient, I hardly blame her actress for leaving the show for its final season.
It would have been better to see their relationship flourish from this breaking point, and not end up forcing his sister's banker friend and the car crash, many people criticize this season, which I could defend as acceptable at least, if not for this episode and what it triggered, without a doubt one of the most bizarre and worst developed episodes.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: Applejack's "Day" Off (2016)
Lost Sister of Yakity Sax
If Yakity Sax didn't exist, I could consider this the worst episode.
AJ's worst characterization ever.
