Without Remorse (II) (2021)

Not bad and brings the energy
30 April 2021
Really solid performance by Jordan. This being my favorite of Clancy's characters he did a fantastic Job. There were some really great action sequences that kept the pace fairly brisk. This is a far better film than Sum of All Fears and Shadow Recruit. The only low spot is the woman playing Greer. I think she played it a little safe and stiff.

AT&T Make them give us more
19 March 2021
All of this happened because of fan demand and AT&T pushing WB to make it happen. After watching this all I can say is we need more. Let Zack make his movies and leave him alone. The cast was amazing and the action was punched way up.

I'm being generous with the score here
9 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
All in all it wasn't terrible. What I found more interesting than anything was the group of locals trying to fight the species below off and also keep it quiet. I can't help but feel there's a lot to work with there. So it wasn't great but I definitely would be interested to see another shot at something in this universe. In terms of the genre it's really hard to beat the descent films but those too could have gotten a series treatment if they wanted.

Execution is what ruins it.
1 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The bad logical choices, the mistakes made for convenient plot devices, science that doesn't work. I'm totally fine with it being about life and how it's spent but it was stuffed into a very rough package

When Mya died I assumed that it would end with everyone's death. Even with two fertile women and three males that's a very tight gene pool. Everyone thinking the human race would repopulate from a single couple confuses me. The hallucination was obvious but didn't work due to its cliche nature. With 6 episodes, science advisors and heavy script work this could have been great.

The cast is great
19 September 2020
Love the cast and the CGI is excellent. I don't mind it being centered in the stresses of relationships in space. But this had to have been written by a 5 year old. These people are all too untrustworthy and drama prone to ever make it on a short trip let alone mars. I do like the format that kinda has a "Dilemma of the week" feel. I do hope it returns for another season with a bit better grasp on the types of drama and problems those on such a long trip would face.

Make this a series
7 March 2020
This felt a lot like a pilot. It was very patient opening up the various characters between action set pieces. It's good and if anything a bit more of it in a series format would be great.

Seriously this has to end
29 January 2020
I feel like there was a social commentary and politically driven family drama written and then they went and found a property to adapt it to. It's really not necessary. It plays like a tour de force of twitter talking points. We don't need this much politics in everything. Acting was mostly tolerable, on par with CW shows. Casting was good except as others have said the dad was an odd choice. The show drags and is once again wasted air time for Netflix. I feel like there's a good show that just never was allowed to happen.

Astonishing that this was released
21 January 2020
Guy Pearce and Devon Sawa were fine but everything beyond that was laughable. Every other actor felt like they were picked up off the street. The story and script was terrible. The weapon handling and action was sloppy and poor. I hope Pearce was paid a ton
